최근 국내 건설업체들의 해외 플랜트 수주는 2003년 이후 지속적인 성장세를 보이고 있다. 2006년에는 254억 달러를 기록하였고, 산업자원부에서 발표한 2007년 1/4분기까지의 집계가 벌써 90억 달러에 육박하고 있다. 향후 세계시장에서의 플랜트 산업은 지속적인 성장을 할 것으로 전망하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 해외 플랜트 수주에 있어 국내 대형건설업체들을 비롯한 중소건설업체들이 중동지역을 중심으로 세계 곳곳으로 뻗어나가는 현 시점에서 플랜트 전문인력 부족이라는 난관에 부딪혀있다. 플랜트 건설산업의 발전속도는 빠르게 증가하고 있으나, 이에 반해 전문기술인력의 충원이 잘 이루어지지 않고, 충원되는 신규인력의 경우에도 세부화된 전공 이수자이기에 그에 따른 새로운 교육이 필요하고 빠른 현장 투입이 불가능한 실정이다. 또한 사업관리, 파이낸싱 분야의 인력도 크게 부족하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 플랜트 산업의 경쟁력 강화를 위하여 전문 인력양성을 위한 효율적인 방안에 대해 알아보고, 현실적인 대안을 제시하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to derive enhancements in terms of construction enterprises to enhance the competitiveness of Korea's overseas construction companies. We have carried out a survey targeting international constriction engineers. s a research result, it was investigated that excellent construction engineers and improvement of construction management competitiveness was necessary. It was ability of financing development and development of international business organizations in construction sector. And it was design ability of FEED and ability of international marketing in design sector.

Recently, the importation of overseas cement has been increasing and the spot materials of different quality from Japan have to be treated in overseas construction work for technical cooperation with neighboring countries. However, a study on the quality of those oversea materials has not yet been carried out systematically, especially cement among those materials. Accordingly, in this study the properties of high-strength concrete with oversea cement imported from four countries in East Asia and South-east Asia were investigated under normal and high temperature condition, including the carbonation of normal-strength concrete under normal temperature. As a result, it is found that the required of normal-strength concrete will be expected regardless of temperature condition when the flowability is ensured by selecting the appropriate superplaticizer and dosage of it, and the carbonation rate of normal-strength concrete with overseas cement is approximately the same as that with Japanese one under the condition of the same compressive strength.

The objective of this study is an assessment of competitiveness in construction infrastructure by nation in order to provide preliminary data of government policy. Key results indicated that out of 23 countries, Korea's construction market size ranked 11th, construction market growth rate ranked 16th, market stability ranked 14th, construction risk ranked 4th, construction system ranked 10th, ICT ranked 1st. And Korea was ranked 10th in overall construction infrastructure competitiveness by nation.

In construction industry, management of construction factors such as cost, schedule, quality and safety is the most important key for delivering successful projects. According to the Smart Market Report, a magazine specialized in construction industry, recently said 'Off-site Prefabrication' is a significant trend related with construction productivity in global construction industry. It is a kind of practice shift from On-site to Off-site. A lot of general contractors in oversea have been using 'Multi-trade MEP Ceiling Rack Prefabrication' method for getting benefits such as decreased cost & schedule and increased labor productivity. Thus, in this paper, critical management factors at each phase from design to installation was derived by researching case studies. Forwardly, it can be a basic guideline for applying Multi-trade MEP Ceiling Rack Prefabrication in Korea construction industry.

The purpose of this study is to analyze of the risk factors for oversea plants construction projects. For this study, risk factors data from related literature review, research organization and construction company was researched and classified under each EPC phases. In addition, a questionnaire survey by plant experts was conducted for analysis of risk weight and costs and time impact on each EPC phases. The results of this study are as follows: First, a detail design errors(engineering phase), a equipment procurement plan(procurement phase), and exchange rate fluctuations(construction phase) were analyzed the highest weight factors. Second, a financing plan(engineering phase), quantity take-off bill(procurement phase), and exchange rate fluctuations(construction phase) were analyzed the highest cost impact factors. Third, detail design errors(engineering phase), a equipment procurement plan(procurement phase), and schedule management errors(construction phase) were analyzed the highest time impact factors.

Although the depression of oversea construction market becomes more serious recent years, asian construction market is relatively dynamic, particularly in china. However, few research has been conducted about how to manage construction projects in china as foreign developers. Four important risks are identified from series of surveys using the WBS-RBS method, the result shows that the main risk of tender stage is 'Tender max price error', ' Bill of quantities error', 'Unusual low price' and 'Moral risk' respectively.

This paper investigated the qualitative introduction status of domestic major construction company. And that focused on a point of suggestions about CM at Risk introduction. The survey analysis showed that three importan suggestions. First, the biggest obstacles factors to CM at Risk introduction that related laws is lagging amendment. Second, we have to improve the available hands ability in domestic major construction company. And last, we have to do that using uncomplicated design and standard design form. Consequently, environmen analysis for the introduction and example project is urgently required.
