산불화재에 의한 전력선 섬락사고 기초연구(II) (Basic Study on Flashover Characteristics of Power Lines by Forest Fire(II))

  • Occurring forest fire or burning bushes beneath overhead transmission lines have caused system disturbances in many countries. In this study, various tests in the simulated condition of power lines were conducted so as to investigate the reduction in insulation strength caused by combustion flame. The results of an experimental investigation into the flashover characteristics of air dielectric strength in the presence of oil flame are reported. It is demonstrated that flame can reduce by more than half, 80% in maximum, the breakdown voltage of a model line.

  • 현재 핸드폰 등 모바일 기계들의 사용의 증가에 따라 모바일 소비자는 매년 증가하고 있다. 현재뿐만이 아니라 미래까지 계속 증가 할 것으로 예상한다. 그래서 사용자의 지속적인 서비스 사용을 위해 사용 서비스를 고려한 단말 이동성대한 여러 가지 연구가 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 이동성 지원을 위해 MIP, FMIP, PMIPv6등과 같은 여러 가지 솔루션들이 제안이 되었다. 이러한 연구들을 발전을 하는 형태의 연구들도 진행하고 있는 중이다. 하지만 이러한 솔루션들은 여러 가지 문제점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문은 여러 가지 문제점 중에 Controller 내부에서는 여러 가지 원인으로 오버헤드에 대해 초점을 두고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 오버헤드를 줄이기 위해 Controller에 불필요한 flow들을 구별을 하는 기능을 하는 Controller application을 가진 기존과 다른 형태의 SDN 기반의 PMIPv6 구성을 제안한다.

제품 설계 단계에서의 제품 원가 추정 시스템 개발 (The Development of an Product Cost Estimation System at the Product Design Stage)

  • Presented in this paper is the development of an product cost estimation system at the product design stage. The efficient cost estimation function at the design stage is essential for the cost reduction activities through the entire product life cycle. For this purpose, it is necessary to establish a systematic working procedure, and to develop information system for managing a great deal of production and product-related data required for the cost estimation. The developed system has the capability of estimating a cost of assembly type products as well as unit-item type products. As proposed system is based on the variant approach, it can be used easily at an early design stage without the need for detail design information. Also, this system is integrated with legacy PDM (Product Data Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for fast. accurate and easy product cost estimation. The estimated cost includes material cost, overhead cost as well as labor cost.

엿듣기를 이용한 Ad-hoc 네트워크 라우팅에서의 오버헤드 절감 아이디어 (Overhead Reduction Ideas based on Overhear in Ad-hoc Networks Routing)

  • Ad-hoc네트워크의 효율적인 라우팅을 위해서는 라우팅 각 과정의 오버헤드를 최소화하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 연구물들을 바탕으로 Ad-hoc 네트워크 라우팅에서 흔히 일어 나는 주요 오버헤드 요소들을 살펴보고, 그 오버헤드를 절감시킬 수 있는 간단하고 효율적 인 아이디어를 제시한다. 제안한 방법은 무선 네트워크의 특성을 활용하여 별도의 메시지 교환 없이 엿듣기를 통하여 라우팅 정보를 수집하는 특징을 가지고 있다. 이 엿듣기로 수집된 라우팅 정보를 바탕으로 플러딩 메시지 감소, 멀티 패스, 중앙 병목현상 분산을 구현하고, 이를 통해 라우팅 오버헤드를 크게 경감시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

  • With increasing interest in the reduction of cost for operation and maintenance of overhead catenary system, various methods of condition monitoring have been developed. In this paper, we proposed network-based telemetry system for condition monitoring in railway and acquired data from any kind of sensor in catenary line and structure at high voltage. This development gives the solution for online condition monitoring in railway. To check the validity of our approach in terms of application, we realized network-based telemetry System.

  • The dynamic interaction between a translating flexible arm and a trapezoidal velocity profile of a cart to which the flexible arm is attached is presented. Vibration of the flexible arm due to translation is analytically solved, and the conditions for suppressing vibration is derived in terms of velocity profiles. To prove the validity of the solution and the conditions, numerical computation and experiments are camed out. Only a natural frequency of vibrating plant is needed to obtain the conditions for vibration reduction. With this results, a passive vibration regulator as an open loop control scheme can be designed and direct application to industrial plants such as overhead crane can be made.

FPGA Implementation of SC-FDE Timing Synchronization Algorithm

  • The single carrier frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) technology is an important part of the broadband wireless access communication system, which can effectively combat the frequency selective fading in the wireless channel. In SC-FDE communication system, the accuracy of timing synchronization directly affects the performance of the SC-FDE system. In this paper, on the basis of Schmidl timing synchronization algorithm a timing synchronization algorithm suitable for FPGA (field programmable gate array) implementation is proposed. In the FPGA implementation of the timing synchronization algorithm, the sliding window accumulation, quantization processing and amplitude reduction techniques are adopted to reduce the complexity in the implementation of FPGA. The simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively realize the timing synchronization function under the condition of reducing computational complexity and hardware overhead.

  • 본 논문은 유한체의 상군(quotient group)에서 이산대수문제를 고려한 새로운 공개키 시스템을 제안한다 이 시스템은 기존의 공개키의 크기와 전송 테이터 양을 반으로 줄여 통신량의 부담을 줄일 뿐만 아니라 효율적인 승연산을 통해 계산비용을 줄일 수 있다. 특별히 DSA와 비교해서 같은 안전도를 갖는 이 시스템의 속도는 대략 50%정도 향상된다.

  • PC (Precast Concrete) method was preferred for reasons such as shortening of construction period, cost reduction, and quality. However, in the case of factory production, precast concrete has a problem in that transportation conditions in the transportation process, damage during transportation, overhead and profit of the factory are required. If work and PC members are produced on site, transportation and installation costs can be reduced. However, research on field production has not been conducted. Therefore, based on the on-site production plan without PC, the cost and quality of factory production and on-site production are compared and analyzed.

  • Cyclic Delay Diversity (CDD) is a diversity scheme used in OFDM-based telecommunication systems, transforming spatial diversity into frequency diversity and thus avoiding intersymbol interference without entailing the receiver to be aware of the transmission strategy making the signal more reliable achieving full diversity gain in cooperative systems. Here the analyzation of the influence of CDD-SC scheme in Cognitive Radio Network (CRN) is done with the challenge of overcoming the complication called channel estimation along with overhead in CNR. More specifically, the closed-form expressions for outage probability and symbol error rate are divided under different frequencies among independent and identically distributed (i.i.d.) frequency selective fading channel model i.e., the signal is divided into different frequencies and transmitted among several narrow band channels of different characteristics. It is useful in the reduction of interference and crosstalk. The results reveal the diversity order of the proposed system to be mainly affected by the number of multipath components that are available in the CNR.
