Therapeutic effect of Yinyang Balancing Appliance of functional cerebrospinal therapy (FCST) for meridian and neurologic yinyang balance was observed in tic disorder patients. Seventy tic disorder cases were managed with the Yinyang Balancing Appliance on temporomandibular joint (TMJ), combined with acupuncture. Clinical outcome measurement was based on subjective measures and overall clinical impressions. Patients showed a trend toward improvement by clinical observations. In some cases, such changes were visible even after the initial treatment, and this effect was observed to be maintained over the follow-up period. Further clinical and biological research on tic disorder is expected with respect to the FCST.

Evidence based physical therapy interventions for this patient was applied in 15 clinical sessions. Considering the patient's two main impairments, two physical therapy interventions were delivered with WOMAC index outcome measurement. From this case report, I observed that a combined physical therapy interventions consisting of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and TENS Unit in patients with knee osteoarthritis may result in decreased pain, stiffness and increased physical function.

This research is concerned with the validity of a theoretical model that estimates the magnitude of vibration occurring when the flexible two-link structure is activated under control. The structure consists of flexible two-links; the sub link is attached to the end of the main link. The subject is to control flexible two-links and to measure the vibration for each flexible link structure. The result is that the vibration of the main structure affects that of the sub structure, similar to the theoretical outcome.

This paper addressed various issues related to the objectivity of student assessment in medical education. The objectivity of assessment was related to all the steps of test development, administration, and results reporting in terms of reliability and validity. Specifically, the objectivity of item formats, representativeness of test content, standardization of test administration, consistency of scoring procedures, and appropriateness of reporting test results were discussed by comparing performance assessment with traditional paper-and-pencil tests. The conclusions were derived from current measurement theories such as standards-based assessment, evidencebased design, and outcome-based assessment. Further, based on Shepard's propositions (2006), the objectivity of student assessment could be achieved by improving the concordance between educational objectives and assessment components such as item types, test contents, and test administration, scoring, and reporting.

When measuring the luminous flux of a light source at the integrating sphere photometer, it can know the luminous flux to compare the standard lamp with the specimen lamp at the same location. But in case of PLS(plasma lighting system, microwave discharged lamp), that two lamps are cannot be the same location. If the reference illuminant and specimen lamp are cannot measure identical location, we should measure the variation of the luminous flux. For the outcome we can turn out a correction factor to revise and reflect it. But the better way is calibrate the specimen lamp locate the identical location of reference illuminant measured. In this thesis, we've test to find the correction factor for consider that change the measuring location. And it turns out the correction factor. From this, it presents the result to make a select for the reference illuminant which is against the illuminant type for newly produce.

Therapeutic effect of Customized yinyang Balancing Appliance (CBA) of functional cerebrospinal therapy (FCST) for meridian and neurological yinyang balance was observed in infertility case. One infertility case was managed with the CBA, combined with acupuncture and herb-medicine. Clinical outcome measurement was based on subjective measures and clinical observations. The patient showed positive changes in subjective symptoms after the treatment and this effect maintained over the follow-up period. And the patient gave a birth to a female child. Further clinical and biological research on FCST is expected.

Objectives: Therapeutic effect of Yinyang Balancing Appliance of functional cerebrospinal therapy (FCST) for meridian and neurologic yinyang balance was observed in Iron Deficiency Anemia. Methods: One Iron Deficiency Anemia cases were managed with the Yinyang Balancing Appliance on temporomandibular joint (TMJ), combined with acupuncture. Clinical outcome measurement was based on subjective measures and clinical observations. Results: The patients showed positive changes even after the initial treatment and this effext maintained over the follow-up period. Conclusions: Although it is not clear the effect is a sustaining or temporary in its nature, a positive effect was observed and further clinical and biological research on FCST is expected.

This article introduces a methodology of designing a wavelet operator suitable for multiscale modeling. The operator matrix transforms states of a multivariable system onto projection space. In addition, it imposes a specific structure on the system matrix in a multiscale environment. To be specific, the article deals with a diagonalizing transform that is useful for decoupled control of a system. It establishes that there exists a definite relationship between the model in the measurement space and that in the projection space. Methodology for deriving the multirate perfect reconstruction filter bank, associated with the wavelet operator, is presented. The efficacy of the proposed technique is demonstrated by modeling the point kinetics nuclear reactor. The outcome of the multiscale modeling approach is compared with that in the single-scale approach to bring out the advantage of the proposed method.

There is a growing body of literature on the adverse health effects of ambient air pollution. Children are more adversely affected by air pollution due to their biological susceptibility and exposure patterns. This review summarized the accumulated epidemiologic evidence with emphasis on studies conducted in Korea and heterogeneity in the literature. Based on systematic reviews and meta-analyses, there is consistent evidence on the association between exposure to ambient air pollution and children's health, especially respiratory health and adverse birth outcomes, and growing evidence on neurodevelopmental outcomes. Despite these existing studies, the mechanism of the adverse health effects of air pollution and the critical window of susceptibility remain unclear. There is also a need to identify causes of heterogeneity between studies in terms of measurement of exposure/outcome, study design, and the differential characteristics of air pollutants and population.

It was observed that the effectiveness of Yin-yang balancing therapy of the tempromandibular joint (YBT) or functional cerebrospinal therapy (FCS) in three cases: an acute and a chronic motor tic disorder and a Tourrette's disorder (TD). These three cases were mainly managed with cervical balancing appliance for the Yin-yang Balancing on tempromandibular joint (TMJ) and pelvic balance therapy. They were treated concurrently with acupuncture, cupping and herb-medicine. Clinical outcome measurement was based on subjective measures with visual analogue scale (VAS), Yale Global Tic Severity Scale (YGTTS) and clinical observations for 235, 279 and 273 days respectively. The patient showed positive changes after the treatment and this effect maintained over the follow-up period. Although it is not clear whether the effect is sustained afterwards or not, a positive effect on the motor tic disorders and TD was observed. And so, furthermore strict clinical and structural researches for verification on YBT is expected.
