  • Turnout system is a mechanical installation enabling trains to be guided from one track to another which is consists of point blades, common crossing and guard rail etc. These structural feature causes vibration, noise and damages while railroad car wheel is passes by. A tilting train is a train with a tilting mechanism that enables increased speed on regular railroad tracks. The aim of this paper is to study a characteristics of the shock-vibration and noise of tilting and existing train passes by turnout systems. To analyze and assesment, noise and vibration measurement was carried out at the Naesu-station of Chungbuk-line which equipped with cast manganese crossing and built-up crossing and Illo-station of Honam-line which equipped with cast manganese crossing.

횡단보도와 횡단보도 정지선간 이격공간에서의 과실상계 연구 (Contributory Negligence Study on Traffic Accident in Area Between Crosswalk and Stop Line at Intersections)

  • 한국손해사정인 협회의 자동차 사고 손해사정 가이드(1999년 개정판)에 나와있는 횡단보도 부근의 정의를 살펴보면 "간선도로가 아닌 경우에는 횡단보도로부터 15m 이내의 장소를 말하며, 간선도로인 경우에는 횡단보도로부터 25m 이내의 장소"로 정의하고 있다. 횡단보도와 정지선 사이에서 발생한 사고는 횡단보도 부근의 사고로 분류가 된다. 현행 법령과, 법원 판례를 검토한 결과 3가지 교통사고 장소 즉, 횡단보도. 횡단보도 부근, 횡단보도와 정지선 사이의 이격공간에서 발생되는 교통사고는 과실상계에 있어서 차별성을 두어야 한다고 판단되어 차별성의 정도를 알아보기 위하여 횡단보도와 정지선 사이의 이격공간에서 발생되는 교통사고에 대한 과실상계에 대하여 대한교통학회 회원들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 아래와 같은 사항이 도출되었다. (1) 현행 횡단보도 사고와 횡단보도 부근 사고로 분류되어 있는 2단계 분류를 횡단보도 사고, 횡단보도와 횡단 보도 정지선 사이의 이격공간 사고, 횡단보도 부근 사고의 3단계 분류로 바꿔야 한다. (2) 3단계로 분류된 과실상계의 순위는 횡단보도 사고의 보행자 기본 과실상계가 가장 낮으며, 다음으로 이격공간의 사고, 횡단보도 부근의 사고 순으로 되어야 한다. (3) 이격공간 사고의 보행자 기본 과실상계는 〈표 8〉, 〈표 9〉, 〈표 10〉과 같다. (4) 보행자 신호등이 적색 등화시 횡단보도 사고의 보행자 기본 과실상계는 횡단보도 부근 사고의 보행자 기본 과실상계보다 낮은 과실상계로 수정되어야 한다.

혈액투석 환자에서 다리교차의 기립성 저혈압 감소 효과 (The Effect of Leg Crossing on Reducing Orthostatic Hypotension in Hemodialysis Patients)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of leg crossing on reducing orthostatic hypotension and orthostatic hypotension symptoms in hemodialysis patients. Methods: A one-group pretest-posttest design was used. A total of 40 post-hemodialysis adult patients were enrolled, excluding the case of intradialysis hypotension, unbalance of standing with leg crossing, adding antihypertensive medications. Blood pressure (BP) and heart rate (HR) were measured in supine and standing positions. After a week, BP and HR were measured in supine and standing with leg crossing position. Orthostatic hypotension symptoms were also measured by self-reported structured questionnaire in standing without leg crossing and with leg crossing position. Results: We found out that systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and mean arterial pressure increased significantly in standing with crossing leg position applied (p=.006, p=.001, p=.006). However, presences of orthostatic hypotension symptoms were not significantly decreased in standing with leg crossing position (p=.500, p=.318, p=.306, p=.241, p=.356, p=.500, p=.241, p=.308). Conclusion: This study shows that leg crossing is effective for reducing orthostatic hypotension without additional cost or instruments. Leg crossing as one of the preventive interventions to reduce orthostatic hypotension is easier and simpler to be implemented in hemodialysis patients.

철도건널목 지장물 검지를 위한 보판센서 연구 개발 (A Study on the Development of Panel Sensor for Obstruction Detecting at the Railway Level Crossing)

  • For a short-term measurement to reduce an accident on a railroad crossing, it is necessary to find out the weakness and problems of existing equipment in the railroad transportation system. The analysis of railroad crossing accidents shows that main causes of accidents (24.9%) are the careless driving including an engine problem, damage on the safety equipment, slide on the snow, and an engine stop on the railroad crossing. Therefore, it is required to install a sensor, or to make a crossing gate at the exist for detecting obstacles on a railroad to prevent collisions among trains. This paper suggests 'a panel sensor using the strain gauge' to make up the weaknesses of the sensing Dead Zone, which are caused by using a laser method, and to detect any small objects passing railroads in order to reduce the errors, which are occurred in the earth magnetic field for controlling Exit Slide Crossing Arm Detector. The device, suggested in this paper, is verified with detecting any small objects passing the railroad, with judging entry decision clearly, and with controlling passing gate and obstruction warnings/cautions obstacles at the same time, through an experimental test.

현장측정을 통한 분기기 망간 크로싱의 피로수명 평가 (Fatigue Life Evaluation for Railway Turnout Crossing using the Field Test)

  • The major objective of this study is to investigate the fatigue life evaluation of immovability crossing for railway turnout by the field test. In railway engineering, an appliance is necessary to allow a vehicle to move from one track to another. This appliance came to be known technically as turnout. So, turnout is required very complex railway technologies such as rolling stock, track. Due to the plan under the application of high speed train, turnout are needed more stable far fatigue behaviors. It analyzed the mechanical behaviors of turnout crossing with propose its advanced technical type on the field test and fatigue evaluation far the dynamic fatigue characteristics. As a result, the advanced type crossing are obviously effective for the fatigue damage ratio and dynamic response which is non-modified type. The analytical and experimental study are carried out to investigate the passing path of contact surface and fatigue damage trend decrease dynamic stresses and deflections on advanced crossing type, And the advanced type reduce dynamic fatigue damage ratio and increase fatigue life(about each 38%) more than non-modified type. From the field test results of the servicing turnout crossing, it is evaluated that the modification of contact angle, weight, material and sectional properties is very effective fur ensure against fatigue risks.

  • Recently Among indoor noises plumbing noise from supply and drain water pipe is being pointed out as a annoying noise following to floor impact noise, and it is increasing the rate to point the noise due to the following several reasons: water pressure, vibration by fabricated structures and direct noise propagation from upper floor through ceiling This study aims to analyse the characteristics of toilet stool plumbing noise in apartment bathroom which are generated by crossing plumbings and elbows. And it analyse the effect of noise reduction by soundproofing and insulations which are covered at crossing plumbings. And also analyse the characteristics of noise about a type of elbows, crossing plumbing and result of dB(A). At last it provide a fundamental data for the purpose of reduction of plumbing noise in apartment.

  • In line with current speed-up of railroad, a slab track has been increasingly adopted in a bid to secure the safety of track structure as well as to reduce the maintenance cost, and furthermore, the need for commercialization of domestically-developed swing-nose crossing turnout on slab track has been on the rise. For commercialization of swing-nose crossing turnout on slab which was developed in Korea, a technical and systematic performance evaluation system, considering local environment, shall be established and then the performance evaluation shall be accordingly implemented. This paper was intended to summarize the performance evaluation system, referring to the data available at home and abroad and the results of performance evaluation for domestically-developed swing-nose crossing turnout on slab track carried out to date based on that system. A performance evaluation system comprises the technical requirement appropriateness evaluation(component performance evaluation and design verification), laboratory test and on-site test. For domestically-developed swing-nose crossing turnout on slab track, appropriateness evaluation and laboratory test have been completed and the on-site test of those installed on the 2nd phase of Kyung-Bu HSR is underway now.

교행하는 고속전철의 비정상 공기력에 대한 수치적 연구 (Computational Study on Unsteady Aerodynamic Loads on Crossing Train)

  • In order to study unsteady aerodynamic loads on high speed trains passing by each other at the speed of 350km/h, three-dimensional flow fields around trains during the crossing event are numerically simulated using the three-dimensional Euler equations. The Roe's FDS with MUSCL interpolation is employed to simulate wave phenomena properly. An efficient moving grid system based on domain decomposition techniques is developed to analyze the unsteady flow field induced by the restricted motion of a train on a rail. The numerical simulations of the trains passing by on the double-track are carried out to study the effect of the train nose-shape, the train length and the existence of tunnel when the crossing event occur. Unsteady aerodynamic loads side force and drag force-acting on the train during the crossing are numerically predicted and anlayzed. It is found that the strength of the side force mainly depends on the nose-shape, and that of drag force on tunnel existence. And it is observed that the push-pull like impulsive force successively acts on each car and acts in different directions between the neighborhood cars. The maximum change of the impulsive force reaches about 3 tons. These aerodynamic force data are absolutely necessary for the evaluation of the stability of the high speed multi-car train. The results also indicate the effectiveness of the present numerical method for the simulation of unsteady flow field induced by the bodies in the relative motion.

  • 분위수 회귀는 반응변수의 조건부 분위수 함수를 추정함으로써 반응변수와 예측변수의 관계에 대한 포괄적인 정보를 제공한다. 그러나 여러 개의 분위수 함수를 개별적으로 추정하게 되면 이들이 서로 교차할 가능성이 있으며, 이러한 분위수 함수의 교차(quantile crossing) 현상 분위수의 이론적 기본 특성에 위배된다. 본 논문에서는 다중 비교차 분위수 함수의 추정의 대표적인 방법들의 특성을 적합식과 계산 알고리즘의 측면에서 살펴보고, 모의실험과 실제 자료 분석을 통해 그 성능을 비교하였다.
