THE CLASSIFICATION OF SELF-ORTHOGONAL CODES OVER ℤp2 OF LENGTHS ≤ 3

  • In this paper, we find all inequivalent classes of self-orthogonal codes over $Z_{p^2}$ of lengths $l{\leq}3$ for all primes p, using similar method as in [3]. We find that the classification of self-orthogonal codes over $Z_{p^2}$ includes the classification of all codes over $Z_p$. Consequently, we classify all the codes over $Z_p$ and self-orthogonal codes over $Z_{p^2}$ of lengths $l{\leq}3$ according to the automorphism group of each code.

  • The design of experiment(DOE) with orthogonal arrays is adopted when the engineering design is needed in a discrete design space. In this research, a design process with orthogonal array is peformed to obtain the optimum design which satisfy the frequency target of the steering system. The optimum design is determined from the analysis of means(ANOM) and sensitivity information about design variables is evaluated by the analysis of variance(ANOVA). Interactions between design variables are investigated to achieve additivity which should be valid in using orthogonal array. It is shown that when strong interactions exist, the DOE process with orthogonal array considering interaction is introduced to find out optimum design.

  • The design of an air compressor-driving quadratic linear actuator in a fuel cell BOP system is studied using orthogonal techniques. The approach utilizes an orthogonal array for design of 'experiments', i.e. the scheme for numerical simulations using a finite element method. Eco-friendly energy is increasingly important due to the depletion of fossil fuels and environmental pollution. Among the new energy sources, fuel cell is spotlighted as renewable energy because it produces few dusts. The air compressor performance is directly related to the efficiency of the fuel cell BOP system has high power consumption. In this paper, an optimized technique using an orthogonal matrix is applied to the design problem to improve the performance of quadratic linear actuator.

  • 본 논문은 다중 송신 안테나를 사용하는 직교 주파수 분할 다중 반송파(OFDM: orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) 시스템에서 윈도윙 기법을 이용하여 송신 다이버시티 효과를 얻는 새로운 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 윈도우 함수의 형태에 따라 송신 다이버시티 효과가 달라지며 송신 다이버시티를 최대화하기 위한 윈도우 함수의 조건을 제시한다. 제안된 기법은 윈도우 함수의 형태에 따라 순환 지연 다이버시티 (CDD: cyclic delay diversity) 기법, 직교 송신 다이버시티(OTD: orthogonal transmit diversity) 기법, 주파수 스위치 송신 다이버시티(FSTD: frequency switched transmit diversity) 기법을 일반화한 기법으로 해석될 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선 페이딩 환경에 적합한 인터리브된 초직교 길쌈 부호화 초광대역 임펄스 라디오 (Interleaved Super-Orthogonal Convolutional Coded Ultra Wide-Band Impulse Radio: ISOC-UWB-IR) 시스템을 제안하고, 그 시스템의 성능을 변환함수 상한(transfer function bounding)을 이용하여 분석하였다. ISOC-UWB-IR 시스템에 사용되는 인터리빙 기법은 복잡도와 성능에 따라 펄스 단위, 펄스 부그룹 단위, 펄스 그룹 단위 중에서 선택될 수 있다. 성능 분석 결과 레이리 페이딩 환경에서 ISOC-UWB-IR 시스템의 성능은 초직교 길쌈 부호(Super-Orthogonal Convolutional Code: SOC)부호기의 부호율보다 인터리빙 방식의 종류에 더 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 소프트웨어 프로덕트라인에서 가변성은 프로덕트라인의 멤버제품들을 차별화하는 특성으로, 가변성의 기술은 의미가 명확하고 선택이 용이하도록 가시화되어야 하며 관리하기 용이하여야 한다. 가변성 기술은 크게 개발 모델에 통합하는 방법과 개발 모델과는 독립적으로 기술하는 방법으로 나눌 수 있다. OVDL (Orthogonal Variability Description Language)은 독립적 가변성 기술 방법이면서 타 방법들의 가지는 의미의 모호성을 개선하기 위하여 제안된 가변성 표현 언어이다. 이 논문은 독립적 가변성 기술 방법의 기반을 제공한 OVM (Orthogonal Variability Model)으로 기술된 IWF (Inter-Working Function) 프로덕트라인의 가변성이 OVDL로 번역될 수 있는지 확인하는 방식으로 OVDL의 가변성 기술 역량을 검증한다.

직교형 2차원 진동절삭기의 기구학적 해석 및 진동 특성 고찰 (Kinematical Analysis and Vibrational Characteristics of Orthogonal 2-dimensional Vibration Assisted Cutting Device)

  • In elliptical vibration cutting(EVC) where the cutting tool traces a micro-scale 2-dimensional elliptical trajectory, the kinematical and vibrational characteristics of the EVC device greatly affect cutting performance. In this study, kinematical and vibrational characteristics of an EVC device constructed with two orthogonally-arranged stacked piezoelectric actuators were investigated both analytically and experimentally. The step voltage was applied to the orthogonal EVC device and the associated displacements of the cutting tool were measured to assess kinematical characteristics of the orthogonal EVC device. To investigate the vibrational characteristic of the orthogonal EVC, sinusoidal voltage was applied to the EVC device and the resulting displacements were measured. It was found from experiments that coupling of displacements in the thrust and cutting directions and the tilt of the major axis of the elliptical trajectory exists. In addition, as the excitation frequency is in vicinity of resonant frequencies the distortion in the shape of the elliptical trajectory becomes greater and change in the rotation direction occurs. To correct the shape distortion of the elliptical trajectory, the shape correcting procedure developed for the parallel EVC device was applied for the orthogonal EVC device and it was shown that the shape correcting method successfully corrects distortion.

직교배열표를 이용한 이산공간에서의 최적화 알고리듬 개발 (Development of an Optimization Algorithm Using Orthogonal Arrays in Discrete Design Space)

  • The structural optimization have been carried out in the continuous design space or in the discrete design space. Methods fur discrete variables such as genetic algorithms , are extremely expensive in computational cost. In this research, an iterative optimization algorithm using orthogonal arrays is developed for design in discrete space. An orthogonal array is selected on a discrete des inn space and levels are selected from candidate values. Matrix experiments with the orthogonal array are conducted. New results of matrix experiments are obtained with penalty functions leer constraints. A new design is determined from analysis of means(ANOM). An orthogonal array is defined around the new values and matrix experiments are conducted. The final optimum design is found from iterative process. The suggested algorithm has been applied to various problems such as truss and frame type structures. The results are compared with those from a genetic algorithm and discussed.

직교 기저행렬을 이용하는 직교 주파수분할다중화의 수학적 구현 (A Mathematical Implementation of OFDM System with Orthogonal Basis Matrix)

  • 본 논문에서는 직교 기저행렬을 이용한 직교 주파수분할다중화 시스템의 새로운 구현방안이 수학적으로 개발된다. 직교기저행렬은 Haar 기저행렬을 기본으로 하고 있으나 직교 주파수분할다중화의 다중 부채널 신호를 변조하기에 적당한 형태를 갖추고 있다. 여기서는 새로운 기저행렬이 간단한 재귀알고리즘에 의하여 확장될 수 있음이 증명된다.그리고 송신기 조합행렬의 차수는 확장에 의하여 두배로 증가된다. 수신기에서 복조는 직교 기저행렬의 재귀에 의하여 생성되는 조합행렬의 역행렬에 의하여 수행된다. 따라서 제안된 직교 주파수분할다중화 시스템에서는 원 신호의 완벽한 재생이 가능함을 알 수 있다.

Joint Detection Method for Non-orthogonal Multiple Access System Based on Linear Precoding and Serial Interference Cancellation

  • In the non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system, multiple user signals on the single carrier are superimposed in a non-orthogonal manner, which results in the interference between non-orthogonal users and noise interference in the channel. To solve this problem, an improved algorithm combining regularized zero-forcing (RZF) precoding with minimum mean square error-serial interference cancellation (MMSE-SIC) detection is proposed. The algorithm uses RZF precoding combined with successive over-relaxation (SOR) method at the base station to preprocess the source signal, which can balance the effects of non-orthogonal inter-user interference and noise interference, and generate a precoded signal suitable for transmission in the channel. At the receiver, the MMSE-SIC detection algorithm is used to further eliminate the interference in the signal for the received superimposed signal, and reduce the calculation complexity through the QR decomposition of the matrix. The simulation results show that the proposed joint detection algorithm has good applicability to eliminate the interference of non-orthogonal users, and it has low complexity and fast convergence speed. Compared with other traditional method, the improved method has lower error rate under different signal-to-interference and noise ratio (SINR).
