소방공무원의 내부청렴도에 관한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study on the Fire Officials Inter Integrity)

  • 공직사회의 부패는 사회전반의 부정부패를 초래할 수 있으며, 시민사회의 직접적인 대민 관계에 있어 행정에 대한 불신을 초래하여 점증적으로 사회적 비용의 증가를 가져 올 수 있다. 보다 포괄적인 부패 방지책을 강구하기 위해서는 조직내부에 대한 내부평가가 이루어 져야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 소방공무원의 내부청렴도 향상을 위해 심층면접의 연구방법을 통해 소방공무원의 내부청렴도 향상 방안을 제시하는데 있다. 연구의 결과 소방조직은 전통적인 조직문화가 많이 남아 있는 것으로 조사되었으나, 소방공무원 상호간의 이를 합리적이고, 민주적인 조직문화 조성에 노력하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 조직구성원 개개인의 문제도 있지만 대체로 조직 구조적인 문제, 즉, 부패방지제도의 익명성 보장, 예산의 비공개 등이 불만요인으로 작용하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

혁신 저해요소와 기업의 혁신활동 그리고 기업 성과의 관계 (The Relationship of Innovation Barriers, Innovation Activities and firm's performance)

  • It goes without saying that the technology innovation plays an important role in the sustainable growth of the firm in the global economy. It, however, is not easy to fulfill this simple and obvious fact. Because there are a lot of barriers hindering innovation activities of firms and innovations are interrupted or don't even attempts by this barriers. So in this paper, I study barriers of firms that try to innovation and how much negative impact exist on firm's innovation performance by that. And also I try to find influence on firm's performance because of declined innovation activities. To prove this, KIS(Korean Innovation Survey) 2008, which was surveyed by STEPI(Science and Technology Policy Institute), is used to find relationships among variables; innovation barriers, innovation activities and firm's performance. In the result, I find that financial barrier influence negatively to the process innovation with small business, capable barrier influence negatively to the process innovation with large business and organizational barrier influence negatively to the process innovation with both small and large business. And, it also appear that organizational barrier has not moderating effect but process efficiency has moderating effect significantly with small business that have more positive effect.

농촌여성조직의 발전수준 진단을 위한 탐색 연구;생활개선회를 중심으로 (A Preliminary Study on Measuring of Development Level of Rural Women's Association: Case of Rural Women Leaders Federation)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the developmental level of Rural Women Leaders Federation(RWLF) which is one of the major rural women`s association in Korea. The writers designed organization measurement tool based on the reviews on the related studies and gather data from 191 memberships of RWLF through the mail questionnaire and interviews. The major findings were as follows; First, the findings shows us this organization as transition period from identification stage to expanded growth stage in developmental stage of rural women's organizations. Second, this organization focus on share of members decision making and leadership style rather than organization`s vision, strategy or organization level. In other words, this organization focus on human relations aspect rather than internal aspect of organization system. Third, this organization has high level of social evaluation of the organization, even if it has low level of personal compensation or individua's social performance. In conclusion, as long-term view-point, it is needed to help them to promote their self-control of survival ability to improve organization's vision, strategy, differentiation for achieving organizational goals. And it also needed to prepare educational programs to increase Rural Women's leadership capability understanding of organizational characteristics and its operation abilities.

서비스 기업의 고객지향적 품질분임조 활동이 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Customer-Oriented Quality Circle Activities on Business Performance for Service Firms)

  • Purpose: The paper analyzes empirically the causal relationship between customer-oriented Quality circle activities and Business Performance for Korean service firms. We compare the operational characteristic behavior of the service firms and business performance. Methods: In this study, we used 3 variables, QC activities, Employee commitment and business performance. Especially, Service SME's QC Circle activities were analyzed in related with growth of company on the basis activities such as Leadership(team), improvement activity, Organizational learning, customer-focus activity and employee suggestion. Results: The result of analysis showed that employee commitment affected significantly on financial performance and non-financial performance and in turn, improvement activities, Organizational learning and customer-focus activity affected significantly on business performance (financial and non-financial). Conclusion: In the summary of the characteristics of this study based on the research results, first, segmenting the QCC activities in the service business into 5 elements can be considered to be differentiated from the existing researches in the aspect of utilizing the organization's objective-oriented variables differently from the researches utilized the variables related personal characteristics. Second, this study suggested the recent research results that suggested the problems of the QCC clearly, through which what new QC story approach was suggested has working level value in the aspect of activating the service QCC.

  • Globalization of economy brings both opportunities and threats especially for companies in developing countries such as Korea. Globalization is an opportunity because it may expand the size of market for the company where globalization brings a threat for developing global competitiveness. If the company has already built competitive advantage in its business domain, the company can easily transfer market growth to profit improvement. However, if the company has not developed competitive advantage, globalization of economy will give a serious threat for the survivor of the company. The company might lose its own domestic market share. For the less famous brand of product or company name, international expansion is a challenging strategy. The study evaluated organizational performance of companies that try international expansion by utilizing Miles and Snow's strategy typology. We clustered organizations based on their strategy typology (prospector, analyzer, defender, and reactor) in view of the level of product diversification, new product development instances, level of localization, and autonomy of foreign subsidiary. With the strategy typology, we evaluated international strategy in view of product competitiveness, marketing strategy, human resource strategy, and organizational strategy. The regression result demonstrates that the performance of the company is significantly higher when the company employs prospector strategy. We also found out that product quality and emphasis for developed countries in international expansion are the most important factors for success.

조직공정성이 기업성과에 미치는 영향 (A Study on The Effect Corporate Performance of Organization Justice)

  • 기업의 구성원들은 개인이 가지고 있는 기술, 지식, 능력 등을 조직에 제공하고 이에 대한 대가를 조직에게서 부여받는 방식으로 관계를 지속한다. 이러한 기업에게서 받는 대가는 임금 등의 금전적인 보상과 명예, 복리후생 등의 비금전적인 보상 등을 받게 된다. 이러한 서로의 상호작용 속에서 기업 조직의 구성원들은 공정성 문제를 항상 생각하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 조직공정성이 기업성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 살펴보고자 한다. 연구 결과 조직공정성은 직무만족, 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 매출액증가에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Purpose As social network games (SNG) enjoy rapid growth in the market and become a major sector of the gaming industry, it is of great interest to examine the how users continuously use SNG. In SNG, the users' social interaction is the most prominent advantage of the social network, as well as the entertainment afforded by the game. This study explores the relationship between altruism, which is considered the most prominent characteristic of SNS, and the continuance usage intention, as well as the moderating role of social capital. Based on social capital theory and organizational citizenship behavior, this research model considers social bonding and bridging that are divided by social capital. Design/methodology/approach An AMOS analysis based on survey data from 223 SNG users indicated that SNG with greater altruism enhance social capital (social bonding, social bridging), which is related to the user's satisfaction and the continuance intention of SNG. Findings Social bonding is positively related to the user's satisfaction with SNG. In other words, social bridging positively affects the continuous usage intention of SNG. These findings help managers in developing and implementing altruistic relationships and social capital for continuous usage of SNG.

대학도서관 시스템 라이브러리언의 작업성과를 높이는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Factors Affecting Work Performance among Systems Librarians in Academic Libraries)

  • 오늘날의 도서관은 거의 모든 업무가 자동화 시스템을 중심으로 이루어지는데, 특히 대학도서관은 연구와 학습을 지원하기 위하여 자동화 수준을 높이고 있다. 자동화 시스템을 구성하는 H/W와 S/W에 관련한 전산업무를 수행하는 시스템 라이브러리언은 도서관이 자동화되면서 사서의 전문분야로 새로 생긴 직명이다. 본 연구는 대학도서관 시스템 라이브러리언의 작업성과를 높이는 요인을 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 작업성과는 작업의 질과 양, 개인의 정서적 반응을 의미하며, 개인의 정서적 반응은 작업을 수행한 결과 느끼는 전반적 직무만족, 내적 작업동기 그리고 개인의 성장만족이 포함된다. 연구방법으로는 요인을 직무특성, 조직특성, 개인특성 별로 독립변인으로 작업성과 요소를 종속변인으로 선정하였다. 가설을 설정하고, 질문지를 통하여 입수된 자료를 SPSS for Windows통계 팩키지로 분석하여 이를 검증하였다.

The Structural Relationship between Employment Insecurity and Turnover Intention of Beauty Industry Employees

  • Purpose - This research paper empirically analyzes the effect of changes in the employment environment due to the 4th industrial revolution on the turnover intention of cosmetic employers and employees and seeks the necessary measures for job instability in the industrial field. Research design, data, and methodology - A self-report questionnaire was conducted on 513 cosmetic implementers. Statistical processing of the data collected by the data analysis method was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) WIN23.0 statistical package program through data coding and data organizing process. Results - Changes in the employment environment were found to have a significant effect on the effect of job instability (t=13.218, p<0.05). As for the effect of organizational commitment on turnover intention, the higher the organizational commitment, which is a parameter, has a negative (-) effect on turnover intention, a dependent variable (p<0.05). Conclusions - Our results are based on an analysis that allows cosmetic employers and workers to explore ways to address job insecurity. Based on the analysis results, it will help the growth of the cosmetics industry by providing basic data for the identity of the cosmetics industry and the development of the cosmetics service organization.

리조트근로자의 건강증진행위가 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Health Promoting Behavior on Stress among Resort Workers)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors affecting stress among resort workers. Methods: The subjects of the study were 199 resort workers in a province of Korea. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires that were completed between November 16, 2017 and January 19, 2018. The questionnaire consisted of stress and health promoting behavior and its sub-areas such as health responsibilities, physical activity, nutrition, spiritual growth, interpersonal relations, and stress management. Using the SPSS 23.0 program, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. Results: The mean score of the stress levels of resort workers was $2.3{\pm}0.98$ out of a maximum score of 5. A multiple regression analysis revealed that gender, spiritual growth, and stress management were statistically significant factors in the model (p<.001), with an explanatory power of 35%. Conclusion: Stress levels were considerably high in resort workers. This study suggests that nursing interventions are needed to reduce stress levels and enhance health promoting behavior, especially spiritual growth and stress management, at both an individual and organizational level.
