조직의 학습전이풍토가 기술사의 학습전이에 미치는 영향 - 계속전문교육(CPD) 참여 동기의 매개효과를 중심으로 - (The Mediating Effects of Participation Motivation on the Relationship between Organizational Learning Transfer Climate and Learning Transfer in Professional Engineers' Continuing Professional Development Activities)

  • The main purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of participation motivation of continuing professional development between the level of organizational learning transfer climate and learning transfer. In the analysis of the relationship among the level of the organizational learning transfer climate, learning transfer and participation motivation of CPD, organizational learning transfer climate had indirect influence on learning transfer through participation motivation of CPD. Based upon the findings of this study, several suggestions were made to improve professional engineers' participation and learning transfer in CPD and implement future research on professional engineer's CPD.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the problems and relevant variables for effective Organizational Socialization of new nurses, to produce a causal map, to build up a simulation model and to test its validity. Method: The basic data was collected from Sep. 2002 to July 2003. The Organizational Socialization process of new nurses was analyzed through a model simulation. The VENSIM 5.0b DSS program was used to develop the study model. Result: This Model shows interrelation of these result variables: organizational commitment, job satisfaction, job performance, intention of leaving the work setting, decision making ability, and general results of Organizational Socialization. The model's factors are characteristic of organization and individual values, task-related knowledge and skills, and emotion and communication that affects new nurses' socialization process. These elements go through processes of anticipatory socialization, encounter, change and acquisition. The Model was devised to induce effective Organizational Socialization results within 24 months of its implementation. The basic model is the most efficient and will also contribute to the development of knowledge in the body of nursing. Conclusion: This study will provide proper direction for new Nurse's Organizational Socialization. Therefore, developing an Organizational Socialization Process Model is meaningful in a sense that it could provide a framework that could create effective Organizational Socialization for new nurses.

Looking at Organizational Socialization from the Developmental Network Perspective

  • Paying close attention to those new to an organization, whether fresh or experienced, whose primary interest is in (re)socialization, the current study intends to (1) further the concept of mentoring from a bilateral relationship to a community and culture fostered by developmental networks, (2) propose an integrated conceptual framework for organizational socialization, and (3) suggest implications for practice and future research. This study reviews, analyzes, and integrates research assets and subsequently re-conceptualizes the aggregate information as valid propositions and a conceptual framework. The findings include (1) 11 propositions regarding the relationships among network characteristics (embeddedness, diversity), developmental functions (career support, psychosocial support, and role modeling), and socialization outcomes (learning and attitudinal outcomes); and (2) an integrated conceptual framework that depicts a comprehensive mechanism through which developmental networks conduce to organizational socialization of newcomers. Implications are that developmental networking must be an individual's fundamental competency and an essential part of organizational onboarding processes, and imperative for both members' career development and innovative organizational culture. By integrating research assets on the developmental phenomenon into conceptualizations, this study furthers the concept of mentoring to organizational culture and stimulates a substantive discourse for theory-building towards organizational socialization from the developmental network perspective.

ESG 경영을 위한 지능형 기술을 수용하는 조직개발 연구 (A Study on the Organizational Development for Intelligent Technology Acceptance in ESG Management)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically confirm what is an important variable of organizational change by intelligent technology acceptance and whether is a difference in important variables in the organization level of acceptance of intelligent technology. Recently, business models using intelligent technologies such as chat-bots, self-driving cars, credit-prevention fraud, face recognition, and health-care are emerging. External situation factors such as artificial intelligence, big data, COVID-19, and the ESG management are changing the direction of a company's management strategy. This research method established a structural equation model. As a result of the analysis, we found that the leadership, organizational culture, and organizational cooperation variables had a positive effect on human resource development variables. Human resource development found a positive effect on the performance of intelligent technology. In addition, we found the independent variables of leadership, organizational culture, and organizational cooperation had partial mediating effects on the performance of intelligent technology. Each group of levels of intelligent technology found performance differences. The organizational culture variables appeared as important variables in all groups. On the other hand, the leadership variable appeared as an important variable in the middle and lower groups of intelligent technology. The theoretical background of this study is that the business theory was updated through artificial intelligence and intelligent technology theory. As a practical implication, the organization adopting intelligent technology is necessary to prepare a systematic plan for organizational culture change.

The scope of this study be limited to the techniques for the individual behavioral change among the organizational development The methodology of this study used the questionaire, and the sampling objected to the white class of manufactures.   • 본 연구의 목적은 시장지향성의 선행요소와 조직기억이 기업의 혁신성에 미치는 영향과 기업의 혁신성이 직간접적으로 기업의 전반적인 성과에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것에 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구는 조직학습 이론 및 시장지향성에 대한 선행연구를 바탕으로, 조직기억과 시장지향성이 조직혁신성의 선행변수이고, 또한 조직혁신성은 기업의 신제품 개발성과와 전반적 성과에 영향을 미친다는 가설들을 설정하였다. 국내 대기업의 중역들에게 받은 설문을 바탕으로 분석을 한 결과, 조직학습 및 시장지향성은 조직혁신성에 유의미한 정의 영향을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 조직혁신성은 신제품 개발성과와 기업의 전반적 성과에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, 신제품 성과는 기업의 전반적 성과에는 유의미한 영향을 가지지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 후속연구 및 기업을 위한 논의점을 제시하고 있다.

  • 이 연구는 해양경찰조직의 발전을 위해 해양경찰공무원이 인식하는 권한 부여 리더십이 조직시민행동과의 관계를 검증 목적으로 연구를 진행하였다. 리더십에는 다양한 유형이 있지만 해양경찰공무원은 직무 특성상 부여된 권한이 실무에서 더욱 효과적인 문제해결에 도움이 될 것이며, 비록 비공식적 행동이지만 결과적으로 조직의 발전으로 연결되는 조직시민행동은 최근 조직발전과 관련된 연구로 많이 진행된다는 점에서 접근하였다. 이 연구에서는 해양경찰공무원 168명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 통해 연구가 진행되었으며 연구 결과 해양경찰공무원의 직무는 위험성, 돌발성 등으로 인해 해양경찰공무원은 상호 의존적 직무 성격이 중요하므로 중간 관리자의 목표에 대한 설명과 구성원에 대한 다양한 행동은 해양경찰 조직성과에 긍정적 결과로 연결된다는 점에서 정책적 제언을 하였다.

Information Security and Organizational Performance: Empirical Study of Korean Securities Industry

  • This study was conducted to analyze the effect of information security activities on organizational performance. With this in mind and with the aim of resolving transaction stability in the securities industry, using an organization's security activities as a tool for carrying out information security activities, the effect of security activities on organizational performance was analyzed. Under the assumption that the effectiveness of information security activities can be bolstered to enhance organizational performance, such effects were analyzed based on Herzberg's motivation theory, which is one of the motivation theories that may influence information protection activities. To measure the actual attributes of the theoretical model, an empirical survey of the securities industry was conducted. In this explorative study, the proposed model was verified using partial least squares as a structural equation model consisting of IT service, information security, information sharing, transaction stability, and organizational performance.

지역사회 청소년의 리더쉽기술과 조직몰입 관계분석 (Investigating the Relationship between Leadership Skills and Organizational Commitment of Community Youth)

  • Rearing community youth has been main factors of sustainable agriculture and rural community. The purposes of this study were to analyze the leadership skill and organizational commitment of community youth and to investigate the relationship between leadership skill and organizational commitment. The data were collected from 196 rural youth by stratified random sampling. The study was adopted t-test, ANOVA factor analysis and correlation analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows; First, community youth married, wealthier, and expanded farming area were more likely to have leadership life skills than others. Second, community youth wealthier and expanded farming area were more likely to have organizational commitment than others. Third, group activity, being leader, teaming skill, communication self understanding, decision making, language skill among leadership skills have positively correlated with organizational commitment.

Administrative Leaders and Their Role in Bringing About Development and Organizational Change in Universities (Northern Border University Case Study)

  • The research aims to identify the role of administrative leaders working in universities in the success of organizational development and change, and the extent of the relationship and ability of administrative leaders at all levels of leadership within universities to the effectiveness of the process of development and organizational change at Northern Border University. In addition to presenting some recommendations and suggestions that can contribute to identifying the best leadership styles that contribute to the success of the development process and positive organizational change. Where leadership, whether in the private sector or the public sector, is one of the main functions concerned with the processes of direction, development, and modernization in the performance of the facility and an important element to activate the organizations' ability to perform their role and achieve their goals. The behavior and trends of leaders represent an important indicator in knowing the type of efforts made by them to improve performance and develop organizations and human resources. The research reached many results, perhaps the most important of which is that the dominant leadership style in universities is the democratic style, followed by the bureaucratic leadership style. The results also showed that there is a significant role for administrative leaders in bringing about development and positive change at Northern Border University at the level of individuals, groups, and organizations. And it became clear that there is an availability of leadership capabilities to an acceptable degree in the administrative leaders. The results of the statistical analysis showed a positive relationship between administrative leadership ability and democratic style. In addition to the existence of a negative relationship between the administrative leadership ability and the bureaucratic style and the freestyle. It was also clear that there were no differences in dealing between males and females, as well as age, educational qualification, experience, and job grade, but there were differences in dealing with the job title.
