다층구조 $SrTiO_3$/Organic composites를 이용한 Broad Coupled Line Coupler 설계 (Broad-Coupled Line Coupler Design using multilayer $SrTiO_3$/Organic composites)

  • $SrTiO_3$/Organic composites 는 Inorganic/organic 복합재료로, 유전 특성이 우수하고, 저온하여 제조단가의 감소가 가능하다. 이를 바탕으로 $SrTiO_3$/Organic composites 복합재를 이용한 가능성을 확인하기 위해 Multilayer 구조의 Coupler를 설계, 제작 후 특성을 분석하였다. Coupler 는 RF signal을 분기하기 위한 목적으로 평행한 한 쌍의 Conductor line 구조를 가진다. 2개의 Line 의 길이를 특정주파수 $f_0$의 wavelength $\lambda$/4 로 설계하여 서로 근접 시켰을 때 $f_0$를 중심으로 RF 신호 분기 현상이 나타난다. 보다 넓은 대역에 걸쳐서 신호분기를 하기 위해서는 두 line 간의 간격을 좁혀 Signal coupling 효과를 증가 시킨다. single layer conductor 구조에서는 물리적인 한계가 있으므로, multilayer 구조를 사용하면 보다 넓은 대역의 Coupled line coupler 로서 기능하게 된다.

Effect of coagulation conditions on ultrafiltration for wastewater effluent

  • Low-pressure membrane filtration is increasingly used for tertiary treatment of wastewater effluent organic matter (EfOM), mainly comprising organic base/neutral compounds. In-line coagulation with underdosing, charge neutralization, and sweep floc conditions prior to ultrafiltration (UF) was studied to determine removals of the EfOM components and consequent reduction of fouling using polyethersulfone membranes. Coagulation and UF substantially reduced fouling for all coagulation conditions while removing from 7 to 38% of EfOM organic acids. From 7 to 16% of EfOM organic base/neutrals were removed at neutral pH but there was no significant removal for slightly acid coagulation conditions even though fouling was substantially reduced. Sweep floc produced the lowest resistance to filtration but may be inappropriate for in-line use due to the large added volume of solids. Charge-neutralization resulted in poor recovery of the initial flux with hydraulic cleaning. Under-dosing paralleled sweep floc in reducing hydraulic resistance to filtration (for sub-critical flux) and the initial flux was also easily recovered with hydraulic cleaning. Hydrophobic and hydrophilic base/neutrals were identified on the fouled membranes but as previously reported the extent of fouling was not correlated with accumulation of organic base/neutrals.

Oxidative Line Width Reduction of Imprinted Nanopatterns

  • Although imprinted nanopatterns of organic polymer can be modified by the heat treatment [1], it generally requires high process temperatures and is material-dependent since the heat-induced mass loss of the organic polymer is greatly affected by its chemical characteristics. When oxygen is added during the annealing process, one can reduce the process temperature as well as the dependence of the materials. With the oxygen, line width reduction of a polymer (SU-8) patterns could be accomplished at temperature of as low as $250^{\circ}C$ which was not possible in the heat only process. This oxidative line width reduction can be dramatically promoted with the introduction of oxygen plasma. The oxygen plasma, with its highly-reactive oxygen species, vigorously etches away the organic materials, proven to be extremely effective line with reduction method. It is, however, very hard to control the extent and homogeneity of the etching, particularly of very fine patterns. Here, we report an effective and reliable line width reduction method of imprinted nanopatterns by combined plasma and heat treatment. The merits of this process include the reduction of process temperature, time and material-dependence.

  • A profitable mass production of Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) displays needs a new type of manufacturing equipment. We have developed a vertical In-Line machine (VES400) equipped with linear etch sources (e.g. to activate an ITO layer), standard magnetron sputter sources for ITO and metal and linear evaporation sources for the organic and metal materials. We present new results concerning the linear evaporation sources for organic materials. We have optimized the vertical thickness non uniformity for the evaporation of different organic materials and achieved deviations of less than ${\pm}$ 5 % for the vertical thickness over a substrate height of 400 mm. We will further report first results about the long term stability of the deposition rate for different organic materials using rate control..

  • We were evaluated from organic insulator of low dielectric constants, This organic insulator material is not only conservate TFT chanel but also used to insulator material to data line and pixel ITO electrod. This organic insulator material is possessed high platness and we can coat by Spin-On-Glass type. And we can make high aperature device because minimized black matrix width from coupling cap to data line and pixel ITO electrod, This evaluation with acryl over coat and PFCB(perflorecyclobutine) and we got good results.

  • In this paper, we studied on the application of Organic Thin Film Transistors (OTFTs) to the active matrix organic light emitting diodes (AMOLED). We designed organic transistor based pixel circuits for AMOLED. The pixel circuit is consisted of two-transistor, one-capacitor and one-OLED. We report the simulation results of the pixel circuits that OLED current varied as the data line and scan line voltage. Also, we will describe the fabrication process of the Pentacene OTFTs arrays and the organic light emitting diodes. The driving results of the fabricated unit pixels and their 4x4 arrays are also presented.

  • This study is a thermal and flow analysis of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) pipe line for 250 kW grade waste gas heat recovery. We attempted to obtain the boundary condition data through the process design of the ORC, which can produce an electric power of 250 kW through the recovery of waste heat. Then, we conducted a simulation by using STAR-CCM+ to verify the model for the pipe line stream of the 250 kW class waste heat recovery system. Based on the results of the thermal and flow analyses of each pipe line applied to the ORC system, we gained the following conclusion. The pressure was relatively increased at the pipe outside the refracted part due to the pipe shape. Moreover, the heat transfer amount of the refrigerant gas line is relatively higher than that of the liquid line.

무기담채를 이용한 폐수처리

  • 황토볼을 이용하여 폐수처리를 한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 보였다. 흐름도 A에서는 T-P 0.5ppm이하, T-N 1.0 ppm이하, COD 10ppm 이하였으며, 흐름도 B에서는 T-P 0.3ppm이하, T-N 5.0 ppm이하, COD 15 ppm 이하의 결과를 보여 주었다. 흐름도 C에서는 T-P 0.6ppm이하, T-N 10 ppm이하, COD 15 ppm 이하였으며, 흐름도 D에서는 T-P 1 ppm, T-N 8 ppm이하, COD 20ppm 이하의 결과를 보여 주었다. BOD는 각 흐름도 A, B, C, D에서 COD보다 높은 경우에는 6 ppm, 낮은 경우에는 3 ppm 정도의 차이를 보였다. SS는 각 공정에 따라 그다지 큰 차이를 보이고 있지 않으며, 1.0 처리 용량 Ton/day으로 계산 할 경우에 5 - 20 g/day 정도를 보이고 있다. 이러한 결과치는 하수종말처리장(특별대책지역 및 잠실수중보권지역)의 2 ppm 및 폐수처리시설(농공단지, 오${\cdot}$폐수처리시설 포함)의 T-P 8 ppm, T-N 질소성분 60 ppm이내의 탄소원 COD 40 ppm 이내의 기준에 해당하는 수치의 좋은 결과로 황토볼을 이용한 폐수처리 시스템의 가능성을 보여주고 있다.

  • This paper is results on Chemisorption of organic compound for the sea water fire fighting line of naval vessels. The quantitative analysis of Chemisorption has been investigated in seawater after immersion in 0.1 % of NaDDTC solutions for 43 hours. The morphology and topography were investigated by FE-SEM and AFM. The chemical elements were analyzed by SEM-EDS, XPS and the depth of chemical elements was measured by depth profiles. The effect of NaDDTC comes from Chemisorption between Copper and Sulfur of NaDDTC. As a result, test results showed that sulfur is helpful to protect a corrosion of seawater line.

  • Conjugated oligomers have been already used as active layers in field effect transistors, photodiodes and electroluminescent devices. Particularly thiophene oligomers such $\alpha$ -sexithiophene($\alpha$-6T) attract great interest for its prospective app1ications in large-area flexible displays. In this study, we investigated the contact properties between the organic semiconductor $\alpha$-6T and metals such as Au(Gold), Ag(Silver), Cr(Chromium), Al(Aluminum), Cr(Chromium). Using the Transmission Line Model(TLM) method, specific contact resistances of the metal lines in contact with the $\alpha$-6T were determined. From the current-voltage characteristics, electrical conductivity of the $\alpha$-6T films is found.
