ANTI-HYBRID INTERIOR IDEALS IN ORDERED SEMIGROUPS

  • The main theme of this present paper is to study ordered semigroups in the context of anti-hybrid interior ideals. The notion of anti-hybrid interior ideals in ordered semigroups is introduced. We prove that the concepts of ideals and interior coincide in some particular classes of ordered semigroups; regular, intra-regular, and semisimple. Finally, the characterization of semisimple ordered semigroups in terms of anti-hybrid interior ideals is considered.

고전계 전기산화에 의한 나노다공성 알루미나 멤브레인의 제조 (Fabrication of Nanoporous Alumina Membrane by High- Field Anodization)

  • Nanoporous anodic alumina membranes (NAAM) with high aspect ratio, self-ordered pore array were fabricated by high-field 2-step anodization method. High voltages of 80, 100, 120 and 140 V as well as 40 V for comparison were applied to an aluminum anode with respect to a Pt cathode immersed both in 0.3M oxalic acid solution in order to investigate the self-ordering characteristics of the nanoporous structure. The pore structures, including interpore distance, pore size, pore density, and porosity as well as the ordering characteristic were analyzed using field-enhanced scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and the corresponding Fourier-transformed images. The nanoporous structure could be produced for all the voltage conditions, but the well-ordered through-hole pore without a branched structure seemed to occur only at 40 and 140 V. It turned out that the growth rate under 140 V high-field anodization was about 40 times higher than under conventional 40 V mild anodization, which enabled the fast fabrication of self-ordered, high aspect ratio NAAMs.

$GaAs_{0.5}Sb_{0.5}$ 에피층의 규칙상의 원자 배열 (Atomic Arrangement of Ordered Phase in $GaAs_{0.5}Sb_{0.5}$ Epilayer)

  • MBE법으로 $580^{\circ}C$에서 성장한 $GaAs_{0.5}Sb_{0.5}$/(001)GaAs 에피층의 원자 배열을 TEM을 이용하여 분석하였다. 1/2(111) 형의 장범위 규칙상이 $GaAs_{0.5}Sb_{0.5}$/(001)GaAs 에피층에서 발견되었다. 이 규칙상의 원자 배열은 As의 농도가 높은 {111}As 면과 Sb의 농도가 높은 {l1l}Sb 면이 V족 소격자에 교대로 나열된 구조이며, 주기는 {111} 면간 거리의 2배이다. 이 구조는 R3m 의 공간군에 속하며, 단위포는 능면체정이다.

A Mixed Model for Oredered Response Categories

  • This paper deals with a mixed logit model for ordered polytomous data. There are two types of factors affecting the response varable in this paper. One is a fixed factor with finite quantitative levels and the other is a random factor coming from an experimental structure such as a randomized complete block design. It is discussed how to set up the model for analyzing ordered polytomous data and illustrated how to estimate the paramers in the given model.

메조기공 세라믹 소재의 형성과 특성 분석 (Preparation and Characterization of Mesoporous Ceramic Materials)

  • Ordered mesoporous oxide films have been focused because of their low density, high interior specific surface area, and high thermal insulation. Specially, the ordered mesoporous oxide films prepared by self-assembly has many advantages due to easy process and high reproducibility. In this work, ordered mesoporous $SiO_2$, $Al_2O_3$, and $TiO_2$ films were synthesized by control of composition and processing parameter. Also, their structural, thermal, and mechanical properties were characterized variously. In conclusion, ordered mesoporous oxides will be one of core materials in new technology due to their excellent and unique properties.

Fabrication of Ordered or Disordered Macroporous Structures with Various Ceramic Materials from Metal Oxide Nanoparticles or Precursors

  • Two different schemes were adopted to fabricate ordered macroporous structures with face centered cubic lattice of air spheres. Monodisperse polymeric latex suspension, which was synthesized by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization, was mixed with metal oxide ceramic nanoparticles, followed by evaporation-induced self-assembly of the mixed hetero-colloidal particles. After calcination, inverse opal was generated during burning out the organic nanospheres. Inverse opals made of silica or iron oxide were fabricated according to this procedure. Other approach, which utilizes ceramic precursors instead of nanoparticles was adopted successfully to prepare ordered macroporous structure of titania with skeleton structures as well as lithium niobate inverted structures. Similarly, two different schemes were utilized to obtain disordered macroporous structures with random arrays of macropores. Disordered macroporous structure made of indium tin oxide (ITO) was obtained by fabricating colloidal glass of polystyrene microspheres with low monodispersity and subsequent infiltration of the ITO nanoparticles followed by heat treatment at high temperature for burning out the organic microspheres. Similar random structure of titania was also fabricated by mixing polystyrene building block particles with titania nanoparticles having large particle size followed by the calcinations of the samples.

Three Dimensionally Ordered Microstructure of Polycrystalline Zirconia Ceramics with Micro-Porosity

  • In order to make a highly ordered three-dimensionally macro-porous structure of zirconia ceramics, porogen precursors PMMA beads were prepared by emulsion polymerization using acrylic monomer. The monodisperse PMMA latex beads were closely packed by centrifugation as a porogen template for the infiltration of zirconium acetate solution. The mixed compound of PMMA and zirconium acetate was dried. According to the firing schedule, dry compacts of PMMA and zirconium acetate were calcined at $475^{\circ}C$ to obtain micro-, macro-, and meso- structures of polycrystalline zirconia with monodispersed porosity. Inorganic frameworks composed of $ZrO_2$ were formed and showed a three Dimensionally Ordered Microstructure [3DOM] of $ZrO_2$ ceramics. The obtained $ZrO_2$ skeleton was calcined at $710^{\circ}C$. The 3DOM $ZrO_2$ skeleton showed color tuning in solutions such as deionized [DI] $H_2O$ and/or methanol. The monodispersed crystalline micro-structure with micro/meso porosity was observed by FE-SEM.

Effect of γ-Irradiation on the Molecular Properties of Bovine Serum Albumin and β-Lcatoglobulin

  • To elucidate the effect of oxygen radicals on the molecular properties of proteins, the secondary and tertiary structure and molecular weight size of BSA and ${\beta}$-lactoglobulin were examined after irradiation of proteins at various doses. Gamma-irradiation of protein solutions caused the disruption of the ordered structure of protein molecules as well as degradation, cross-linking, and aggregation of the polypeptide chains. As a model system, BSA and ${\beta}$-lactoglobulin were used as a typical ${\alpha}$-helical and a ${\beta}$-sheet structure protein, respectively. A circular dichroism study showed that the increase of radiation decreased the ordered structure of proteins with a concurrent increase of aperiodic structure content. Fluorescence spectroscopy indicated that irradiation quenched the emission intensity excited at 280 nm. SDS-PAGE and a gel permeation chromatography study indicated that radiation caused initial fragmentation of proteins resulting in a subsequent aggregation due to cross-linking of protein molecules.

다공성 알루미나 마스크를 이용한 니켈 나노점 구조 제작 (Fabrication of Ni Nanodot Structure Using Porous Alumina Mask)

  • 본 연구에서는 인산 용액 하에서 2차 양극 산화 기법에 의해 제작된 양극 산화 알루미나 막을 마스크로 이용하여 정렬된 니켈 나노점 구조를 제작하였다. $2{\mu}m$ 두께의 얇은 양극 산화 알루미나 막 표면에 평균 279 nm 크기의 기공구조를 형성하였으며 이를 얇은 니켈 박막의 열 증착 시 다공 구조 마스크로 이용하여 정렬된 니켈 나노점 구조를 제작하였다. 형성된 니켈 나노점의 크기는 평균 293 nm의 크기를 가지고 있으며 알루미나 막 표면상의 기공 구조의 형상을 따르고 있음을 볼 수 있었다. 제작된 나노점 구조의 자기적 특성을 상온에서 자기이력곡선의 측정을 통해 살펴보았으며 연속적인 니켈 박막과 비교하였을 때 고립된 나노점 구조로 인하여 자화용이축을 따라 각형비의 감소와 보자력의 증가가 나타남을 관찰할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 양극 산화 막을 마스크로 이용한 박막 증착 과정을 통해 균일한 자기 나노점 구조를 제작할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

ON SOME CLASSES OF REGULAR ORDER SEMIGROUPS

  • Here, some classes of regular order semigroups are discussed. We shall consider that the problems of the existences of (multiplicative) inverse $^{\delta}po$-transversals for such classes of po-semigroups and obtain the following main results: (1) Giving the equivalent conditions of the existence of inverse $^{\delta}po$-transversals for regular order semigroups (2) showing the order orthodox semigroups with biggest inverses have necessarily a weakly multiplicative inverse $^{\delta}po$-transversal. (3) If the Green's relation $\cal{R}$ and $\cal{L}$ are strongly regular (see. sec.1), then any principally ordered regular semigroup (resp. ordered regular semigroup with biggest inverses) has necessarily a multiplicative inverse $^{\delta}po$-transversal. (4) Giving the structure theorem of principally ordered semigroups (resp. ordered regular semigroups with biggest inverses) on which $\cal{R}$ and $\cal{L}$ are strongly regular.
