Integrated Inventory-Distribution Planning in a (1 : N) Supply Chain System with Heterogeneous Vehicles Incorporated

  • This paper considers an integrated inventory-distribution system with a fleet of heterogeneous vehicles employed where a single warehouse distributes a single type of products to many spatially distributed retailers to satisfy their dynamic demands. The problem is to determine order planning at the warehouse, and also vehicle schedules and delivery quantities for the retailers with the objective of minimizing the sum of ordering cost at the warehouse, inventory holding cost at both the warehouse and retailers, and transportation cost. For the problem, we give a Mixed Integer Programming formulation and develop a Lagrangean heuristic procedure for computing lower and upper bounds on the optimal solution value. The Lagrangean dual problem of finding the best Lagrangrean lower bound is solved by subgradient optimization. Computational experiments on randomly generated test problems showed that the suggested algorithm gives relatively good solutions in a reasonable amount of computation time.

  • The rolling schedule procedure has been an important part of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. The performance of production planning in an ERP system depends on the selection of the three parameters in rolling schedule procedure: frozen interval, replanning interval, and planning horizon (forecast window). This research investigated, in a theoretical approach, the combined impact of selections of those three parameters. The proven mathematical theorems provided guidance to re-duction of instability (nervousness) and to seek the optimal balance between stability and responsiveness of ERP systems. Further the theorems are extended to incorporate the cost structure.

  • This paper proposes object detection algorithm using laser scanner and vision system for the path planning of autonomous mobile agents. As the scanner-based method can observe the obstacles in only two dimensions, it is hard to detect the shape and the number of obstacles. On the other hand, vision-based method is sensitive to the environment and has its difficulty in the accurate distance measurement. Thus, we combine these two methods based on K-means algorithm such that the obstacle avoidance and optimal path planning of autonomous mobile agents can be achieved.

  • This paper presents a HNN(Hopfield Neural Network) model to solve the ORP(Optimal Routing Problem) in DSP(Distribution System Planning). This problem is generally formulated as a combinatorial optimization problem with various equality and inequality constraints. Precedent study[3] considered only fixed cert, but in this paper, we proposed the capability of optimization by fixed cost and variable cost. And suggested the corrected formulation of energy function for improving the characteristics of convergence. The proposed algorithm has been evaluated through the sample distribution planning problem and the simmulation results are presented.

설비배치계획에서의 개미 알고리듬 응용 (Ant Algorithm Based Facility Layout Planning)

  • Facility Layout Planning is concerned with how to arrange facilities necessary for production in a given space. Its objective is often to minimize the total sum of all material flows multiplied by the distance among facilities. FLP belongs to NP complete problem; i.e., the number of possible layout solutions increases with the increase of the number of facilities. Thus, meta heuristics such as Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Simulated Annealing have been investigated to solve the FLP problems. However, one of the biggest problems which lie in the existing meta heuristics including GA is hard to find an appropriate combinations of parameters which result in optimal solutions for the specific problem. The Ant System algorithm with elitist and ranking strategies is used to solve the FLP problem as an another good alternative. Experimental results show that the AS algorithm is able to produce the same level of solution quality with less sensitive parameters selection comparing to the ones obtained by applying other existing meta heuristic algorithms.

  • This study attempted to proposed the strategies for development of peach packinghouses. The overview of the conditions of existing peach packinghouses located Chongdo county was provided. Then, the grading system of packinghouse was newly suggested. In empirical analysis, the optimal size, location, and equipments were taken into account for the case of establishing new packinghouse. The main finding of this study was that the planning and construction of peach packinghouse should be executed in accordance with the regional peculiarities. Specifically, First, the packinghouse could make higher profit by high-quality goods using realistic grading/standardization. It would be preferred by customers that the effective itemization of fruits like peach. Second, it would be necessary that the scale of packinghouse was examinated in the county or town level. Third, in order to make an effective management of the packinghouse, several alternatives for operation were suggested. Also the software of packinghouse should be arranged to satisfy the packinghouse, producers, and customers.

  • For the recently constructing building, diverse forms of attempt are being applied with the environmental-friendly design and reflection of the design factor by environment simulation. Especially, in case of Multi-Purpose Hall, in view of its use-purpose and because of the characteristics that should be utilized as the multipurpose uses by well-mingled together with the lecture-wise factor and musical factor, now it could be said that the sufficient examination and planning with regard to the acoustic factor are essential. On such viewpoint, as the object of practically planning multipurpose auditorium, this Study has intended to design such auditorium equipped with the optimal architectural acoustic factor, for the acoustic condition using Acoustic Simulation Technique at the planning stage.

  • We propose a path planning method to decrease a inspection lead time of line scan camera in SMT(surface mount technology) in-line system. The inspection window area of printed circuit board should be minimized to consider the FOV(field of view) of line scan camera so that line scan inspector is going to find a optimal solution of path planning. We propose one of the hierarchical clustrering algorithm for a given board. Comparative simulation results are presented to verify the usefulness of proposed method.

  • This paper deals with the trajectory planning of IWR biped robot using genetic algorithm. The trajectory of a swing leg is generated by 5th order polynomial equation. Velocities and Acceleration properties on a viapoints are needed. These constants are given by heuristic method. The optimal values are determined by G.A to minimize the jerk of a trajectory. As a result, trajectory planning is implemented not on between two viapoints but on a whole interval. Efficient numerical calculation routines and walking algorithms for simulation are accomplished by MATLAB package.

  • 고선량율을 이용한 자궁강내 치료시 정확하고 신속한 계산을 위하여 저자들은 개인용 컴퓨터를 이용하여 기준점의 선량분포 및 방사선조사 시간을 간편하게 계산할 수 있는 software를 개발하였다. 치료 계획용 software를 이용하여 짧은 시간내에 선량 분포 및 조사시간을 용이하고 정확하게 계산할 수 있으며, 고선량을 자궁경부암 임상적응에 효과적으로 이용할 수 있어서 보고한다.
