Implementation of Mapping Function for 400 Gigabit Flexible Ethernet Signal in OTN (OTN에서의 400Gb/s급 Flexible 이더넷 신호수용 위한 맵핑 기능 구현)

  • Recently, ITU-T recommends that FlexE, which allows the flexible configuration of Ethernet signals, be received by OTN for transparent transmission through OTN. To compensate for the difference in bit rate that can occur when mapping FlexE signals to OTN payload, an idle codeword is removed or inserted. However, the detailed functional blocks required to implement this method are not yet available. In this paper, based on the recent ITU-T requirements, a detailed functional block for OTN mapping of FlexE signals is proposed based on 400G class. In addition, based on the detailed functional blocks, mathematical analysis was performed to obtain the characteristics of removing and inserting idle code words, and the simulation results are shown.

  • Routing and wavelength assignment(RWA) problem is an important issue in optical transport networks based on wavelength division multiplexing(WDM) technique. It is typically solved using a combination of linear programming and graph coloring, or path selection based graph algorithms. Such methods are either complex or make extensive use of heuristics. In this paper we propose a novel and efficient approach which basically obtains the maximum edge disjoint paths (EDPs) for each source-destination demand pair. And those EDPs obtained are stored in Lookup Table and used for the update of weight matrix. Routes are determined in order by the weight matrix for the demand set. The comprehensive computer simulation shows that the Proposed algorithm uses similar or fewer wavelengths with significantly less execution time than bounded greedy approach (BGA) for EDP which is currently known to be effective in practice.

  • Network expansion has been an inevitable method for most traffic equilibrium assignments to consider intersection movements such as intersection delays. The drawback of network expansion is that because it dramatically increases network sizes to emulate possible directional movements as corresponding links, not only is complexities for building network amplified, but computational performance is shrunk. This paper Proposes a new variational inequality formulation for a user-optimal traffic equilibrium assignment model to explicitly consider directional delays without building expanded network structures. In the formulation, directional delay functions are directly embedded into the objective function, thus any modification of networks is not required. By applying a vine-based shortest Path algorithm into the diagonalization algorithm to solve the problem, it is additionally demonstrated that various loop-related movements such as U-Turn, P-Turn, etc., which are frequently witnessed near urban intersections, can also be imitated by blocking some turning movements of intersections. The proposed formulation expects to augment computational performance through reduction of network-building complexities.

  • In the present age, a vehicle works important part in our lives and economical domain that transport people, freights, and everything. And both of its number and value are increasing more and more. But user's convenience, control system could not be archived improvement than technological success. In this paper, we suggest some kinds of administrative agendas; simplifying executive processes, designing vehicle information system using by RFID which includes Ubiquitous skill and optical communication network. Especially, this paper suggests public vehicle control model which can simplify every executive processes of vehicle's life in the newest method. There are many kinds of RFID applicative products about transportation. And a dual invest should be interrupted for economical purpose. So this paper also proposes some way for problems of these types.
