Development of the Compressed Packer Grouting Device for Preventing the Inflow of Polluted Groundwater (오염지하수 유입방지를 위한 압축패커 그라우팅 장치 개발)

  • The compressed packer device is designed to improve the underground contamination prevention facilities of ground water wells. As for the device, the installation is simple because of the safety lock device and the compression of the casing are simple the installation is simple. There is no leakage of ground water because the pressure resistance with $4.5\;kg/cm^2$ makes it equipped with the watertightness The single casing is installed and the reaming for grouting is possible with 300 mm excavation so that installation cost can be saved. Silicon rubber is used for the compressed packer so that the extension rate is 590%.   • ECU(Electric Control Unit) on the important features of the vehicle is equipped, ECU between sending and receiving messages is connected to one of the internal network(CAN BUS), but this network easily accessible from the outside and not intended to be able to receive attacks from an attacker, In this regard, the development of tools that can be used in order to verify the possibility of attacks on attacks from outside, However, the time costs incurred for developing tools and time to analyze from actual car for CAN messages to be used in the attack to find. In this paper, we want to solve it, propose a method to generate test cases required for the attack is publicly available tool called Sulley and it explains how to find the CAN messages to be used in the attack. Sulley add the CAN messages data generated library files in provided library file and than Sulley execute that make define and execute file conform to the CAN communication preferences and create message rules. Experiments performed by the proposed methodology is applied to the actual car and result, test cases generated by the CAN messages fuzzing through Sulley send in the car and as a result without a separate tool developed was operating the car.

  • The Broadcasting Law amended in January 2007 declared to adopt universal right to view(known more widely as Universal Access Right, UAR), the right to access broadcasting programs on such major sports or other events that are likely to catch the gaze of the public television viewers. Then its implementation rule was issued in February 2008, and under the regulations the Committee of Ensuring Universal Access Right has been established, where detailed action measures and guidelines are currently in the process of preparing. However, it is no question that an effectiveness of the implementation system of Universal Access Right presupposes sufficient amount of discussion and social consensus. At present, the major focus in this issue is on the matters including which type of events is subject to UAR and what criteria are desirable in determining which broadcasting company has priority. In this context, this study aims at identifying implications for policy by examining the precedent cases of Europe, Australia, and other countries, where UAR is enacted and implemented. Further, this study tries to draw up a specific scheme for ensuring universal right to view through conducting a survey on public television viewers. We will include specific guidelines for selecting events of public attention, criteria for selecting broadcasting companies regarding priority, and relevant operating rules regarding relayed broadcasting.

  • In this study it is intended to develop the ontology which can express the relation between objects with emphasis on the structural representation of semantics. Its interoperability with other kinds of previous ontology and metadata was also considered so that the developed ontology may be applicable to the real situation. The ABC Ontology can get extended into another field where the application of the concept of event is Possible, for ABC Ontology Provides the fundamental framework on the axis of event. In this study it is Music where ABC Ontology can be applied properly, which results in creating Music Ontology. Music Ontology Provides the infrastructure of knowledge for reasoning of Potential meaning as well as the simple semantic connection of terms. The extended model of ABC Ontology has been developed by applying Music Ontology, which is the domain ontology and conveys meaning, to ABC Ontology that represents the whole framework. The representation of conceptual relation in ABC Ontology turns into the association of the framework and meaning in the extended model of ABC Ontology, with reasoning rules which are typical in ontology Also, interoperability of the extended model of ABC Ontology is examined in consideration of co-operating with metadata different from those in it.

Prediction and analysis of structural noise of a box girder using hybrid FE-SEA method

  • With the rapid development of rail transit, rail transit noise needs to be paid more and more attention. In order to accurately and effectively analyze the characteristics of low-frequency noise, a prediction model of vibration of box girder was established based on the hybrid FE-SEA method. When the train speed is 140 km/h, 200 km/h and 250 km/h, the vibration and noise of the box girder induced by the vertical wheel-rail interaction in the frequency range of 20-500 Hz are analyzed. Detailed analysis of the energy level, sound pressure contribution, modal analysis and vibration loss power of each slab at the operating speed of 140 km /h. The results show that: (1) When the train runs at a speed of 140km/h, the roof contributes more to the sound pressure at the far sound field point. Analyzing the frequency range from 20 to 500 Hz: The top plate plays a very important role in controlling sound pressure, contributing up to 70% of the sound pressure at peak frequencies. (2) When the train is traveling at various speeds, the maximum amplitude of structural vibration and noise generated by the viaduct occurs at 50 Hz. The vibration acceleration of the box beam at the far field point and near field point is mainly concentrated in the frequency range of 31.5-100 Hz, which is consistent with the dominant frequency band of wheel-rail force. Therefore, the main frequency of reducing the vibration and noise of the box beam is 31.5-100 Hz.   • The Construction Operations Building Information Exchange (COBie) collects and documents a large amount of information from different paths in one place during design and construction projects. This documented information is readily available as a means of continuously transferring data to the facility management systems used by building engineers. In this process, the COBie Worksheet, an open standard form, is used to input the information by simplifying the list required by the user. As a result, COBie was developed to improve dramatically how relevant information is obtained and updated to support operations, maintenance, and asset management at the design and construction stages. On the other hand, to use COBie, a great deal of manual work is required for information linkage and quality inspection with heterogeneous data models. These issues become obstacles to COBie-based facility management system development. This study analyzed the COBie information system and defined the framework for simpler operating maintenance information from BIM (Building Information Modeling). Moreover, the rules for facility management information submission, quality inspection, role definition of framework components, and information linkage were derived. COBie DB schema and support data linkages could be generated effectively based on the proposed framework in prototype development.

Grounded Theory Analysis on the Role of Intermediary Organizations for Rural Tourism : A Comparison between the Nadri of Yangpyeong-gun and Icheon-si in Gyeonggi-do (농촌체험관광 중간지원조직 역할에 관한 근거이론적 분석 - 양평군·이천시 농촌나드리 비교를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of the present study is to examine the characteristics of intermediary organizations for rural tourism by analyzing how they are run, especially in Yangpyeong-gun and Icheon-si Nadri groups, and to further look for the desirable role they should play. Since the activities of these intermediary groups have not been accumulated enough to be able to be used for a study, grounded theory was adopted as deemed appropriate among other qualitative research approaches for this paper. Three main findings of the current research are as follows. First, the rural tourism intermediary organizations have characteristics that are leaning towards local villages more than visitors, although they are in the middle of a spectrum stretching between 'visitors to the green villages' on one end and the 'green villages' on the other end. Second, the intermediary groups work not just as a bridge among different green villages but also as a mediator, facilitator and a guide, noting that such roles can vary significantly depending on the level of competence of the groups themselves and the extent to which the government steps in. Third, the tourism intermediary organizations can contribute to local community-building, going beyond the boundaries of green village. They help to improve the quality of tour experience which leads to revitalization of local economy, and during the course of operating the intermediary groups, the community in the village can set up rules and resolve disputes and conflicts. Thus, the activities of the groups have the potential to create a local community by affecting not just at a village level but to a broader area where their operation is based on. Implications of this study are suggested in three ways. First, the paper looked at the interaction between rural tourism intermediary organizations and stakeholder in a comprehensive way with a qualitative research approach taken. Second, it identified the role and tasks of rural tourism intermediary organizations. Third, it is important to ensure that the tourism intermediary organizations play the local community-oriented role.

Analysis of Consumer's Recognition and Satisfaction for the Improvement of the Doctor-Designation System (선택 진료 제도 개선을 위한 소비자 인식도와 만족도)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the recognition of citizens in Busan on the doctor-designation system, the awareness of medical consumers with experience of using this system and their satisfaction in an effort to seek ways of improving this system. The subjects in this study were the selected citizens in Busan who were at the age of 20 and up. As a result, it's found that the largest group of the respondents was female, in their 20s, received college or higher education, students and in the service industry, and that the most common monthly mean income was between two and 2.99 million won. 27.7 percent were aware of the doctor-designation system, and 23.7 percent became cognizant of the system through others who had used it. The rate of knowing the rules of the doctor-designation system (the right answer) stood at 66.3 percent. They got to know about the system through mass media(31.9%), and used it since it offered highly specialized treatment(57.5%). The respondents who had used it intended to reuse it(76.3%), and the reason was that they were provided with high-class medical services (35.2%). The respondents who had used this system got a mean of 2.96 in satisfaction level, which was not high in general. They mentioned more publicity efforts(91.2%), offering information in a conspicuous place (96.7%) and cutting doctor-designation treatment fee as a means of improving this system. As for how to ensure the operating efficiency of the system, sustained publicity seem to be necessary to raise awareness of the system among patients, and it's required to take measures to relieve patients of financial burden caused by medical bills.

  • Railways are currently subject to the enforcement of speed limits for each curve as prescribed by the Railway Operating Rules in Korea. However, research is required to determine the maximum speed of trains passing through each curve that allows them to run without the risk of derailment in relation to the speed enhancement of existing railway tracks. In addition, factors affecting the running safety of railway vehicles can be classified into those in terms of vehicle aspects and those in terms of track aspects. This study sought to analyze the running safety of railway vehicles according to changes in the inclination of the rail from among the factors affecting the enhancement of safety against derailment. To increase the speed of trains passing through curves that have high derailment risk, this study also analyzed the running safety of railway vehicles according to the inclination of the rail and changes in running speed while a vehicle passes through each curve section in both the up and the down train line sections between Namsunghyun and Chungdo, which represent the actual conditions of railway tracks.

A Mathematical Model for Coordinated Multiple Reservoir Operation (댐군의 연계운영을 위한 수학적 모형)

  • In this study, for the purpose of water supply planning, we propose a sophisticated multi-period mixed integer programming model that can coordinate the behavior of multi-reservoir operation, minimizing unnecessary spill. It can simulate the system with operating rules which are self- generated by the optimization engine in the algorithm. It is an optimization model in structure, but it indeed simulates the coordinating behavior of multi-reservoir operation. It minimizes the water shortfalls in demand requirements, maintaining flood reserve volume, minimizing unnecessary spill, maximizing hydropower generation release, keeping water storage levels high for efficient hydroelectric turbine operation. This optimization model is a large scale mixed integer programming problem that consists of 3.920 integer variables and 68.658 by 132.384 node-arc incidence matrix for 28 years of data. In order to handle the enormous amount of data generated by a big mathematical model, the utilization of DBMS (data base management system)seems to be inevitable. It has been tested with the Han River multi-reservoir system in Korea, which consists of 2 large multipurpose dams and 3 hydroelectric dams. We demonstrated successfully that there is a good chance of saving substantial amount of water should it be put to use in real time with a good inflow forecasting system.
