Carbon nanotubes (CNT) emitter has widely become an attractive mechanism that draws growing interests for cold cathode field emission.$^{1,2}$ CNT yarns have demonstrated its potential as excellent field emitters.$^3$ Extensive simulations were carried out in designing a CNT yarn-based cathode assembly. The focal spot size dependence on the anode surface of the geometric parameters such as axial distance of the electrostatic focus lens from the cathode and the applied bias voltages at the cathode, grid mesh and electrostatic focus lens were studied. The detailed computer simulations using Opera 3D electromagnetic software$^4$ had revealed that a remarkable size of focal spot under a focusing lens triode type set-up design was achieved. The result of this optimization simulation would then be applied for the construction of the CNT yarn based micro-focus x-ray tube with its field emission characteristics evaluated.

History centered knowledge based story-telling project planning tool supports the process of story creation in narrative genre about history of families or individuals. Narrative fields not only include drama, mythology, legend, history but also non-verbal epics such as movie, play, ballet and opera. But as verbal epic, this research paper focuses on the family history and individual history of each household. This story-telling planning tool redevelops each genre of story-telling about family history through sampleDB and informationDB, and it is widely applicable in concreting high quality stories in both its content and value. Reduces the time of planning story-telling, and impose minimum expenses in human resources. Content about family history is one of the most the fundamental and renowned contents in Story-telling but planning tool that is easily applicable in creating such content does not exist in statue quo. In this current system lacking creative infra, this research paper seeks to provide a planning tool that public can easily utilize, and by systemizing the tool. it aims to create a creative contents tool model applicable in variety of genres.

Gianni Versace was a designer who established his unique fashion world by thinking creatively and using rich design sources. The purpose of this study is to present designers a methodology for creative and characteristic design development by searching Gianni Versace's idea source for fashion design. As a method of the study, visual and textual data were investigated for Versace's fashion and design source especially focusing on those elements that inspired him. Versace was born in the southern area of Italy in 1946. Ever since his childhood, he had a lot of experience with clothes because his mother was a dressmaker. His first collection was made in 1978, and Versace became one of the most famous fashion designers in the world within 20 years. He used a wide range of design sources such as history, culture, and art and created his design world with it. He focused on four important epochs. They were classicism, Byzantium, the eighteenth century centering on Baroque, and the 1920s and 1930s centering on Madeleine Vionnet and Madame Gres. Among cultural elements, costume design for ballet and opera and rock 'n' roll music inspired him greatly. Also, Pop art and various paintings such as Chagall's and Delaunay's had a huge effect on Versace. With these elements, he created a bold and unique coordination of style by mixing & matching history, genre, material, and style into his design. Thus he completed an extraordinary and original fashion style by emphasizing on decorative and glamorous points and changing a way of thinking.

The purpose of this study is to examine the trend of plural eclecticism in costumes appearing on the stages of the world's top 4 musicals based on the general researches and establishments made of the mentioned concept. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the aspects of eclectics appearing in overall pieces can be defined as situational eclecticism. It can be attributed to the dramatic elements contrasted in the storyline of the musical and occurs in mixture with various situations. Showing combinations of costumes from varying situations at once in the same stage makes the audience feel the dynamic elements of the piece. Second, the aspect of temporal eclecticism, which can be seen in the 'Phantom of the Opera' regarding mixture of crinoline style and art nouveau style, resulted from the partial mixture of classical elements for maximizing visual beauty in the historical pieces. Third, the aspect of spatial eclecticism can be observed in the musical 'Miss Saigon', which used costumes that combined multicultural elements by exposing different spaces and cultures such as America and Vietnam. It eclectically expresses the unique cultures and costumes of each country. Fourth, 'Les Miserables' shows the aspect of situational eclecticism, through its use of mixture of situations in various aspects, and in particular, the male and female costumes that blur the boundaries of life, death, and costume, the mixture of people's costume and aristocrat's costume, and the situational elements where the good and evil are contrasted are integrated eclectically to make the story dramatic.

Most people react emotionally and are impressed for natural seen such as act, paint, sculpture, music, science, discovery, act include movie, opera. For empathy, people should make efforts feeling about sense from watching by themselves. Usually we are looking for meaning from art and intend to relate wth the content of music, drama, paint, and movie. The trend of statical order in modern design is strong in this time. However, we need to research the motive order for progressive design. And also, designer who want to give motive order to something must need to study motive order in design. This thesis explains the way of effective approach so that designer can apply the thinking such like bring in emotion. Also this research introduces the way of thinking to do progressive imagination and try to research through case study.

This study examines self-reflexive scenes of Changgeuk [창극; Korean classical opera] Seopyenje [서편제]. This show deals with Pansori [판소리; a kind of Korean folk play] and its singers. The uniqueness of this show is that although it is a new creative work of Changgeuk, the traditional Pansori music is used intactly. These characteristics are related to some self-reflexive scenes in the show: the narcissistic reference of Pansori makes to seem that this show inherits a artistry of Pansori; a play within a play and a role-play reinforce a reality on the action and characters of outer play; an intertextuality, bringing the narrative and music of Pansori Simcheong-ga [심청가] in this show, it makes audiences spontaneously discover a connection between the cited original text and the hypertext. Namely, the self-reflexivity of Changgeuk Seopyenje doesn't destroy an illusion, but rather it presents a kind of conservative self-reflexivity which uncovers a part of tricks for the illusion in order to create new illusion.

It is not a simple topic how let the modern readers read the past literature in the these days of digital. But even though the changes of the times, we must not let 'the paper-books(the thing written with letters)' disappear because of 'the audio-visual texts(the thing made with digital media as drama-opera, animated cartoon, animated image)'. The Electronic medias should be used so as helping for us to understand contents of the paper-books. Because of them, the paper-books must not be expelled. It is no need certainly for the reading materials to be made with Paper-books. For example, the electronic-books in order to read also would not become problems. Moreover, the electronic-books to be made with various electronic media can also provide the audio-visual materials for readers well to understand contents of the books. For that reason, the electronic-books would be helped to read effectively. Besides after reading the original texts, the readers to try the 'rewriting', with using the meanings for oneself to get from the texts would be able to make a synopsis or story-telling for other art performances. These works are things positively to be stimulated, because of giving the achievement motivations to the readers. To conclude, the audio-texts reading and the visual-texts reading should be developed so that the paper-books to be revitalize. And though the modern readers dislike to read the paper-books, We should try to make the audio-visual texts base on the paper-books. Therefore the paper-books and audio-visual texts are inter-complementary relationships, not competitive relationships.

This work introduces Nada (1944) by Carmen Laforet in humanities in Korea, to add new knowledge about Spanish literature and therefore broaden and enrich humanities. When the opera prima of this Barcelonian author came to light, critics and the readers were shocked at a work that departed from the expiring Spanish novel under Franco's anti-intellectual and anticreative regime, to renew it indefinitely. That was more than 70 years ago, and today the freshness of Andrea's story continues to be prevail, thanks to its most outstanding feature: polyphonic ambiguity in its text, which allows the novel to include and develop different and contradictory meaning. This investigation addresses several critical readings of Nada, produced and extended inside and outside Spain. These readings, together, reveal the exceptional flexibility and complexity of Nada, a work of fiction that reflects and recreates multiple aspects of the human being.

The purpose of this study was to explore the theatrical aesthetics of the performances which was produced by the theater director, Yang Jung-Ung. Yang has been one of the most influential directors working in Korea in the last 15 years. He has put up performances all over the world with the theater members from his company called Yohangza, which was founded by him in 1997, and working as the director, portrayed his style of the theatrical aesthetics through the works of its plays and musical products. In 2012, this company performed A Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. A Midsummer Night's Dream was invited to be staged at the Barbican Center in 2006. In the same year, it received the grand prize and the Audience Choice award at the Gdansk International Shakespeare Festival in Poland. The musical products like A Good Woman from Seoul and the modern Opera Wozeck are representative works of Yohangza, which are known for a unique way of exploring the meaning of life. The 2009 plays Hamlet and Peer Gynt represent Yohangza's simpler yet more insightful theatrical style. Peer Gynt, which debuted at the LG Art Center, made headlines for its innovative staging. It received the grand prix, Best Director and Best Stage Art awards at the 2009 Korea Theater Awards. Yohangza's plays show two-side "image-based" works. The company drastically reduced verbal lines and enriched the plays with Korean sentiment and aesthetics, but their scripts contained many poetic lines full of overtones. They showed a theatrical mise-en-scene of images, energetic dance, songs in chorus and percussion. For example, Korean sentiments were subtly blended into the two Shakespeare's plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Twelfth Nights. Their performance combines music, mime, song and dance to create an exhilarating adaptation of Shakespeare's inventive and glittering comedy. In addition, the style of Yohangza Theatre Company is a collision of the past and the present: a reworking of existing Korean styles and themes infused with contemporary elements and full of unique exploration in the plays.

There has been not the research on the reason of success based on the characteristic of narrative and characters of , I defined the major characteristic of this genre as family animation, and aimed at researching strategic character and narrative. The characteristics of each characters are identified, and compared with other animation, soap opera, and sitcom. The portion that characters participated in the narrative was analyzed, and the relationship between the point and viewers was also researched in the specific episodes. 1) The characters against the ideal ones function to satirize the fixed idea pursued by the mass, and stimulate the viewers' desire. 2) All the characters are protagonist and sometimes antagonist, or advisor. The circulating position expands the target of viewers, and decreases the cultural discount. 3) It produces a couple of layered narrative, then children, teenagers, and adults enjoy the each different depth of the narrative, resulted in the target expansion. Considering on the limit of theme and target in Korean animation, I expect the findings above will enable to produce more valuable and consistent contents. Later, characters in the Korean family animation is to be researched and the expandability and sustainability would be ensured.
