  • The Architecture, engineering, & construction (AEC) industry domains have grown more complex and larger, BIM is a digital representation of a building to facilitate the exchange and development of construction information integration and interoperability. Industry Foundation Classes (IFCs), under development by International Alliance for Interoperability (IAI), represent the part of buildings or elements of a process. IFC has been adopted as a central information repository in order to deliver integrated building information. Other BIM software could open the IFC file, recognize standard objects such as walls, window, and doors as building components. The IFC standard is generally agreed to be of high quality and is widely implemented in software. However, sometimes, information distortion or information toss occurrs during information exchang. The IAI Model Support Group (IAI-MSG) offers the opportunity to certify IFC-compliant applications based on a structuralized approach. However, IFC interoperability error also have occurred by using certificated tools. As project participants exchange BIM information by using BIM software they will need a reliable and efficient exchange of information. In this paper, previous interoperability tests were analyzed, and we propose a new concept in interoperability test.

  • Altmetircs is the new method to measure social impact of research result which couldn't be found by traditional way, through measuring how much research result is reacting to social media. As academic communication has been diverse and OA repository which can preserve diverse type of article has been activated, New paradigm that measure impact of articles through multifaceted and complex way has been started. This study considers background, status of application, pros and cons about altmetircs. And by using Impactstory which is open source based tool, analyses the research output about digital library of Korea, china and japan which is published in international journal. Besides, analyses correlation between Altmetricss and citation rates. As results, "saved" shows higher than "cited" in library research analysis, it means that even though articles are not cited by followed study, there are a lot of articles that has saved in reference management tool. And positive correlation(r = 0.718) exists between "saved" and "cited", it can be inferred that Altmetricss complement the bibliometrics based evaluation system. Meanwhile, Korean researches are saved more in reference management tool than other countries.

  • Grid web applications by standard Web technology are increasingly used to provide grid service to users as normal Web user interface and service. It is however difficult to integrate a grid security system such as Grid Security Infrastructure (GSI) into Web applications because the delegation way of standard Web security is not the same as the one of Grid security. This can be solved by allowing Web applications to get a Grid credential by using an online credential repository system such as MyProxy. In this paper, we investigate the problem that occurs when MyProxy, which assumes mutual trust between a user and Grid web application, is adapted for achieving security integration between Web and Grid, and we propose a new Grid proxy delegation service to delegate a Grid credential to the Web without assuming mutual trust. In the service, the X.509 proxy delegation process is added to OAuth protocol for credential exchange, and authentication can be done by an external service such as OpenID. So, users can login onto the Grid web application in a single sign-on manner, and are allowed to securely delegate and retrieve multiple credentials for one or more Virtual Organizations.

  • Building institutional repositories is known as one of powerful methods for realizing the open access movement. The Korean Education and Research Information Service(KERIS) proposed to organize institutional repositories into a consortium, called 'dCollection (Digital Collection),' composed of 62 universities since 2003. The purpose of this study is to investigate the current state of 40 member universities of dCollection using the evaluation model including 4 categories and 39 indicators , and, based on the survey outcomes, to pinpoint the procedural or performance weak points of the dCollection systems in order to find its customized solutions focusing on the improvement of use and self-archiving rates.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop an adoptive model of institutional repositories (IRs) by identifying the key factors affecting adoptive intention of IRs and explaining the relations among these factors. Through a survey of 270 researchers and 12 in-depth interviews in the field of physics, mathematics, and life science in Korea, performance expectancy, perceived risks, socio-organizational influence, and individual characteristics were found to have substantial influences on the adoptive intention of IRs. Among the key factors, individual characteristics showed the greatest effect on the adoptive intention of IRs, followed by performance expectancy and other socio-organizational influences except for the perceived risks. Strategies to enhance the adoptive intention of IRs based on analyses of the results were suggested, in terms of the reformation of research assessment system at the national level, strengthening of role of the operational institution, and the need for voluntary scientists-participating service.

  • Two isolation methods using the open plate and air sampler were applied to examine microbial distribution as an environmental factor for conservation of cultural properties in the War Memorial in Korea. The numbers of fungi were the abundant in the air of entrance and inside of the exhibition room where visitors were crowded, compared with inside of repository rooms. Fungal and bacterial distributions in the exhibition room during exhibition period were higher than during nonexhibition period, These results are due to the inflow of air current carrying microoganisms to the exibition rooms from outside with visitors. Fungi isolated from the War Memorial were identified as 19 species and one thermophilic fungus, Neurospora crassa. The majority of the isolated fungi are seemed to cause damage to cellulose materials in the Memorial.

  • Change coupling is a measure to show how strongly change-related two entities are. When two source files have been frequently changed together, they are regarded as change-coupled files and they will probably be changed together in the near future. In the previous studies, the change coupling between two files is defined with the number of common changed time, that is, common commit time of the files. However, the frequency-based technique has limitations because of 'tangled changes', which frequently happens in the development environments with version control systems. The tangled change means that several code hunks have been changed at the same time, though they have no relation with each other. In this paper, the change types of the code hunks are also used to define change coupling, in addition to the common commit time of target files. First, the frequency vector based on change types are defined with the extracted change types, and then, the similarity of change patterns are calculated using the cosine similarity measure. We conducted experiments on open source project Eclipse JDT and CDT for case studies. The result shows that the applicability of the proposed method, compared to the previous studies.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the development direction of future scholarship by analyzing recent research trends in collection development and management field using keyword network analysis. Data was collected from four journals in library and information science field during period of 2003 to 2017. Related articles of Collection Development and Management field were retrieved, and author keywords were extracted from selected papers. Keyword network analysis using NetMiner4 program was performed based on frequency analysis, connection-centered analysis, and parametric analysis. The analysis covers all sections from 2003 to 2017 to look at the changes in research over time, and three sections on five-year basis. As a result, main keywords such as 'open access', 'institutional repository' and 'academic journals' were identified, and topics to be continuously researched were identified.

  • In deep geological disposal concept for spent nuclear fuel, it is well-known that rock mass at near-field experiences the thermal-hydraulic-mechanical (THM) coupled behavior. The mechanical properties of rock changes during the coupled process, and it is important to consider the changes into the analysis of numerical simulation and in-situ tests for long-term stability evaluation of nuclear waste disposal repository. This report collected the previous studies on indirect coupled behaviors of rock. The effects of water saturation and temperature on some mechanical properties of rock was considered, while the change in hydraulic conductivity of rock due to stress was included in the indirect coupled behavior.

  • Long-term shear behavior of the rock discontinuities should be analyzed and its stability should be evaluated to ensure the long-term stability of a high-level radioactive waste disposal repository. The long-term shear behavior of the discontinuities can be modeled with creep and RSF models. The shear creep test, velocity step test, and slide-hold-slide test can be performed to determine their model parameters or analyze the shear behavior by experiments under various conditions. Testing apparatuses for direct shear, triaxial compression, and biaxial shear were mainly used and improved to reproduce the thermo-hydro-mechanical conditions of local bedrock, and it was confirmed that the shear behavior could vary. In order to design a high-level radioactive waste disposal site in Korea, the long-term behavior of rock discontinuities should be investigated in consideration of rock types, thermo-hydro-mechanical conditions, metamorphism, and restoration of shear resistance.
