This is a case report about patient who had suffered from degenerative joint disease and treated by TMJ reconstruction with condylar prosthesis. The patient visited Korea University An-am hospital on 2007 complaining symptom about both TMJ pain, mouth opening limitation and open bite. From CT view there was severe resorption of both condylar head, therefore condylar prosthesis reconstruction was planned. After 3D RP model analysis for preparation, the patient was operated under general anesthesia for condylar prosthesis reconstruction and the symptom was alleviated. (increased mouth opening, reduced anterior open bite, full mouth occlusal contact achieved) Follow up was carried out monthly, but after this, patient refused follow up. After 26 months from the operation, the patient revisited for anterior open bite. In clinical evaluation, occlusal contact was remained, but anterior open bite was relapsed. From cephalometry analysis, severe resorption of glenoid fossa was found. Therefore, Autogenous disc reconstruction with alloplastic material was planned on August 2009. After another surgery, condylar prosthesis was regained its normal position in glenoid fossa, and occlusion was recovered properly.
Consumers have collected information and sought advices from other consumer through Internet. They could collect information in virtual space (online) not real world, that is Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM). Among human body parts, the human face has been studied the most actively for the interlace between humans and computers because face has statistic consistency in color, shape and texture. Those characteristics make computers detect and track human faces in images robustly and accurately. The human face consists of eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows and other features, Detecting and tracking each feature have been researched. The open mouth is the largest in size and the easiest to detect among them, In this study, we present a system which can move mouse pointer using the position and state of the mouth.
By observing the lateral cephalometric radiograms of the Naso-pharynx of the mouth breatheres with adenoid hyperplasia, orthodontists could use the 'discriminant function' as the supplementary diagnotic aid for the malocclusion cases with mouth bloating. The purpose of this study was to ustilize the 'discriminant function' as the indicator to remove the etiologic factor producing the relapse. The author used the 19 boys and 20 girls, who were the nasal-breathers with normal occlusion as the control group, and 16 boys and 20 girls, who were the mouth breathers with adenoid hypaplasia and malocclusion. The age of the both groups was ranged from 12ys to 15ys. Results were as following; 1. There was the difference in the bony structure of Naso-pharynx between the mouth-breathers nasal-breathers. 2. IMRA of the mouth breathers was smaller than the nasal breathers'. 3. The mouth-breathers had the skeletal open bite tendency. 4. Discriminant function: $$D_i=9.85374+ax_2+bx_4+cx_6+dx_7+ex_8$$ a = -0.1211273 b = 0.5908992 c = -1.508446 d = -1.541869 e = 1.404478.
Objective: In patients with temporomandibular joint disorders, air insoles are used to investigate functionality and pain changes in the temporomandibular joint when walking in daily life. Intervention: Sixty-five patients with temporomandibular joint disorder were recruited: 34 as a control group who walked more than 7,000 steps a day in daily life, and 31 as an experimental group who were instructed to take at least 7,000 steps every day while wearing their air insoles. Measurements: To determine the effects of air insoles on temporomandibular joint pain, steady-state pain, maximum mouth opening, average pain, and the most severe pain were measured before and after the experiment. In addition, to evaluate functionality, the ability to open the mouth in a comfortable state, pain when opening the mouth, and the point of sound and maximum degree to which the mouth could be opened were evaluated before and after the experiment. Results: Pain, mouth openness, and sound points showed significant differences from the control group after the experiment, and the maximum mouth opening range showed no significant difference. Conclusion: When air insoles were used by patients with temporomandibular joint disorder, the functionality of the temporomandibular joint was improved and pain was decreased.
The author analyzed the morphologic changes of bone structure from 848 radiograph is (424 joints) of 212 patients with temporomandibular joint arthrosis, which were obtained by the oblque-Iateral transcranial projection and orthopantomography. The interelation of the bone changes and condylar head positions the results were as follows: 1. In the 212 patients with TMJ arthrosis, 210 patients(99.05%) show the condylar positional changes. Among them, 187 patients 989.05%) show the bone changes. 2. In TMJ arthrosis patients with bone changes, 10% patients(57.75%) show both the condylar positional changes and bone changes. 66 patients( %) show the condylar psoitional changes bilaterally and bone changes unilaterally. On the other hand, 11 patients (5.88%) show the condylar positional changes unilaterally and bone change bilaterally. 3. The bone changes in the TMJ arthrosis patients with the condylar positional changes were as follows: There were the flatlening of articular surface in 103 cases (26.55%) the erosion in 99cases 925.57%), and the erosion in 88 cases (22.68%). There were not much differences among the three types of bone changes. And the deformity in 70 cases (18.04%), the sclerosis in 22 cases(5.67%), the marginal protiferation in 6 cases(1.55%) were seen. 4. The regions of bone changes in TMJ arthrosis patients with condylar positional changes were as follows: They occurred at the condyle head(51.04%), the articular eminence(39.20%) and the articular fossa(9.60%) in that order. The condylar positional changes and bone changes according to the regions were as follows: a) In the bone changes at the condyle head, the flatteming (34.63%) was a most frequent finding and the deformity(27.63%) the erosion(24.32%) in the order. In the condylar positional changes, the downward positioning of condyle(41.44%) was a most frequent finding in the mouth closed state and the restricted movement within the articular fossa(35.46%) in the mouth open state. b) In the bone changes at the articular eminence, the eburnation(33.26%) was a most frequent finding and the flatteming(31.16%), the erosion(28.37%) in that order. In the condylar positional changes, the downward positionirg of condyle(39.81%) was a most frequent finding in the mouth closed state and the restricted movement within the articular fossa(24.77%) in the mouth open state. c) In the bone changes at the articular fossa, the eburnation(72.90%) was amost frequent finding and theerosion(17.76%), the sclerosis(9.35%) in that arder. In the condylar positional changes, the downward positionirg of condyle(41.5%) was a most frequent finding in the mouth closed state and the mormal positionirg of condyle(27.78%) in the mouth open state.
This study investigates the effects of internet shopping malls attributes on purchase satisfaction, repurchase intention, and word of mouth intention of fashion consumers. Data were collected from 400 consumers who purchased fashion products through internet shopping malls for the last 3 months. The survey was conducted from August $6^{th}$ 2010 to September $20^{th}$ 2010. A factor analysis identified 7 dimensions of internet shopping mall attributes: (1) interactivity, (2) website appearance, (3) sales promotion, (4) trust, (5) transaction capability, (6) fashion products variety, and (7) information offerings. The results show that all the dimensions of the internet shopping mall attributes affect purchase satisfaction, repurchase intention, and word of mouth intention. In addition, there were significant differences in the perceived attributes among three different types of internet shopping malls; comprehensive mall, fashion specialty malls, and online market-places (open-markets). While, there was no significant impact on the purchase satisfaction, repurchase intention, and word of mouth intention by the e-tailer types.
This study was carried out from 1 November 2000 to 29 March 2001 and objects are 20 college students located Taegu area. Also to determine effect of ultrasound and manipulation on temporomandibular joint pain and limited range of motion. Results obtained were as follows 1. The mean value of open mouth rate are ultrasound group more high than manipulation group between two group until first visiting treatment, but after second visiting treatment tend to increased manipulation group. We are find out that mean are reciprocal action between two group and visiting times 2. Rate of open mouth are almost same between two group, but after 3 times, manipulation group are more effect than ultrasound group. There are no significantly difference(P<.005) between rate of open mouth due to the treatment times(P<;.ool ) and two group. 3. The mean value due to the treatment times have tendency to increased on the left and right lateral motion mean. but no statistical significantly difference between two group. Also two group have effects according to treatment times, but no significantly difference between two group.
The purposes of this study were (1) to identify the effects of perceived justice on trust, commitment, repurchasing, and negative word-of-mouth intention in the Open Market by recovering the customer's dissatisfaction, and (2) to compare the effects of perceived justice between two consumer groups divided by the level of fashion involvement(High/Low). In this survey, the respondents were 369 consumers who experienced dissatisfaction in the Open Market in a year. The data were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis, path analysis, and multiple group analysis using Amos 7.0 program. The results were as follows. It tested main effect of perceived justice on trust and commitment with dissatisfaction handling. 1) As expected, all of the perceived justice had the positive effects on trust. 2) However, only interactional justice positively influenced on commitment. 3) The customers' trust had the positive effect on the customers' commitment after the perception of justice. 4) The trust and commitment had the positive effects on repurchasing intention. 5) However, trust negatively influenced on negative word-of-mouth intention and commitment positively influenced on negative word-of-mouth intention. 6) The consumer groups classified by the level of fashion involvement showed significantly different effects of perceived justice on postcomplaint behavior.
