  • This study examines the changes of the online music market and revenue models by the theory of network society and communications of Manuel Castells for the content platform. As a result of this study, we found that active communications among the members in the network, played a crucial role in the creation of contents and the promotions of profit for platform providers. It is especially important to create an environment in which members can voluntarily communicate rather than an artificial control. The content platform business consists of people, thus it has been proven that providing play elements of culture and society are important, as well as necessary conditions to the generation related to content based platform businesses.

  • This study investigated how music therapists perceive the professionalism of the profession. A total of 98 certified music therapists completed the online survey for a 46.7% response rate, and 78 questionnaires were included in the analysis after excluding incomplete responses. The results of this study demonstrated that music therapists show a high level of standards for music therapy professionalism in general. Meanwhile, the respondents gave their lowest rating on the perception of their occupation as a social service addressing the needs of society. The majority of respondents rated the level of their professionalism as high and they tended to identify individual competency as the most important factor. Also, there were significant differences in perceived professionalism depending on the length of clinical practice and level of education. These results indicate that the quality of training may contribute to a high level of perception on professionalism. Also, lower levels of perception on social aspects of the professionalism support the need for continuing education to broaden the understanding of professionalism. Given the importance of professionalism in enhancing the quality of care for clients and expanding the profession, further studies were suggested to increase understanding of the music therapy professionalism and propose strategies for maintaining the professionalism of music therapists.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate music therapists' awareness of the music therapy national certification (MTNC). Online questionnaires were distributed to music therapists who voluntarily agreed to participate in this research and 143 completed surveys were collected for analysis. The questionnaire consisted of 37 questions (background information, awareness of the necessity for MTNC, expected effects of national certification, and qualification management). According to the collected data, music therapists reported that they were highly aware of the necessity for MTNC. The participants believed that excessive issueing of private licenses might deteriorate the quality of music therapy services and job opportunities. As alternatives to address private license-related issues, participants agreed with the establishment of national certification system. Given that participants did not have enough knowledge of MTNC and the MTNC may have both pros and cons, the results should be generalized with caution. Still, this study could provide basic information for further discussion on the establishment of MTNC.

This study shows that almost half of them use both services, and three people out of ten are the heavy users who use the services for over 3 hours a week. The streaming method is higher proportion than download method in using type. They are getting accustomed to pay contents cost, but it couldn't be said the paying content cost has been established. Preferred contents genre appears to be the RMC(Ready Made Contents) such as existing broadcaster contents and movies. Notable result on media usage was the proportion of the so-called 'Zero-TV'. • As Internet usage widely grows, online content services such as newspaper, magazine, music, game and movie are provided with a fee-based subscription. Many content services providers consider charging a usage fee into its service provisions as one of the Internet business models for increasing revenue. There are customer resistances to adopting the fee-based service provision on the Web. Previous research in information systems (IS)has focused on the analysis of adoption of information technology or systems in the individual ororganization level. No principle research has been carried out on the user adoption behavior of online content services provisions. As users actively access content services on the Web, it needs to explore user adoption behavior in different settings. Many IS researcher have employedquantitative approaches, even though they deal with the process of user behavior regarding the information technology or system. In this study, we attempt to discover how customers adopt the fee-based provision of online content services by employing grounded theory, one of the principal qualitative research methods.

  • Given the ongoing discussion regarding remote music therapy following the COVID-19 pandemic and the pivotal role of parental involvement in it, this study investigated parents' perceptions on their roles in a synchronous videoconferencing music therapy for their children with developmental disabilities. A total of 32 participants participated in an online survey comprising 68 questions. Descriptive statistics summarized the collected responses, and Pearson's correlation was conducted to examine the relationship between perceived parental roles, psychological burden, and willingness to participate in future remote music therapy. The findings showed that parents of children with developmental disabilities acknowledged the benefits of tele-music therapy and possessed substantial information about its implementation. Furthermore, they reported their roles of providing physical, participatory, and mediating support. As parents exhibited greater satisfaction with their role in supporting their children's participation or managing their off-task behaviors, they perceived reduced psychological burden. These findings hold significant implications for expansion of tele-music therapy strategies to address the unique needs of children with developmental disabilities and support their parents as immediate mediators for their children.

  • This study is about classical music lovers who write a lengthy concert review on instagram. The intention and objective of writing a review is discussed in addition to inter-communication between those reviewers. For the analysis, an interview with 8 reviewers are mainly analyzed with their reviews. As a result, it is found that some affordances of Instagram, easiness, randomness, and friendliness affects them to use Instagram more than other social media. Hence, since Instagram is image-based platform, it helps writers to keep their reviews from getting an attention by other users. Because of their sense of inferiority that they are lacking in classical music knowledge, continuous writing and reading of reviews help them accumulating some amount of cultural capital needed for understanding classical music in a proper way.

  • Consumers changed to the subject to produce a digital contents as data transmission technique is advanced and a digital machine is diffused variously. Users are interested greatly in a user creative movie (UCM) production among various online contents. The UCM production method which uses the music and picture is the method that users make the UCM more easily. However, the UCM production service has the problem that any association does not exist in the music and picture and that the picture changes according to fixed time interval without the relation at a music rhythm. To solve this problem, we propose the UCM production method which uses a music analysis and picture analysis in the paper. A music analysis finds a picture change time according to the rhythm and a picture analysis finds the association of the picture. A music analysis finds strong parts of the sound which uses Root-Mean-Square (RMS). And a picture analysis classifies the picture as a scenery picture and people picture which uses structure simplicity of the picture(SSP) and face region detection. A picture analysis got correct result of 86.4% in the experiment and we can finds the association at each picture and arranges the sequence which the picture appears. Therefore, if we use a music and picture analysis at the UCM production, users may make natural and efficient movie.
