The author experienced a failed ase of root resection which qas performed on the abnormal upper right lateral incisor. The patient was 16year old female. Clinically the effected tooth had neither a carious cavity nor periondontal diseases, ut, a fistula was present on the gum tissue near the root apex. The roentogenogram revealed a pathological area around the apex of the tooth. The results of failed apicoectomy lead to following conclusions. 1. The operated tooth was a case of dense invaginatus which had two pulp cavities and two canals seperated along their entire length. 2. It was the main cause of failure that the second pulp cavity and root canal were not obturated.

The author detected rare taurodontisms shown in full mouth standard films of a 21-years-old male patient for the chief complaint of hypersensitivity caused by cervical area to cold and came to the folloeing conclusions through an asthropolpgical and geographic study. 1. Anomaly of this kind was also found ina korean, a mongoloid descent. 2. This study shaw that two cases of hypertaurodont molars and nine cases of hypotaurodont molars were found in one single patient. 3. No particular relationship was found between the occurrence of dental caries and the anomaly of this kind. 4. The genetical study on the case was out of the question because the family of the patient did not offer co-operation.

The patient, a 20 years old Korean female, have been injuried by thermal burn involving scalp. She was treated bur holes for rapid formation of the granulation tissue of exposed and devitalized bone of skull, over which thin split thickness skin graft performed. With the bald skin graft was covered by a wig, she presented a satisfactory appearance.

This is to report a case of traumatic bone cyst which occurred in the left condylar head of the mandible. It is a very rare case and the prognosis after operation seems to be fair, therefore we report as follows. 1. The pt, a 49 year-old female, has been suffering from difficulties of mastication with disfiguration of face due to deviation of mandible to the right side for 20 years. 2. Histopathologic findings showed the figure of multilocular bony cysts contained with fibrous tissue, osteoid tissue and many hematopoietic cells 3. Roentgenographic features showed well circumscribed radiolucent lesion with some radiopaque area. 4. After clinical evaluation, condylectomy was done to remove the lesion. 5. After the operation, the esthetic problem and masticatory functions were improved.

The 5 years old little girl was admitted to Lee's Dental Clinic fractured her mandible body right side due to the traffic accident on 29th Aug 1970 After routine test, the mandible fracture was operated by means of intra-oral and extro-oral splint fixation technique. The splint made by Feather Bite which usualy use for mouth protecter to the foothball and boxing memberes. A case of Occupational Mercury Poisoning Chung Yill Park, Chee Kyung Chung, Kwang Mook Lee and Seung Han Lee Catholic Industrial Medical Center,Catholic University Medical College, Seoul, Korea. The diagnosis of occupational mercury poisoning will depend on the exposure history, clininal symptoms and sings, laboratory findings and other informations such as laboratory results of other workers who have been worked under the same working condition. We diagnosed a 15 year-old male patient, who had been worked for 12 days at mercuny thermometer workshop, as occupational mercury poisoning by putting the above mentioned diagnostic bases together and reported here with brief rewiew of literature.

For the study of the pigments on lacquer with wooden for comparing a characteristics and chemical structures have been selected samples from tombs at Tanwol-dong, Ch′ungch′ong-do, Hwang-namtaech′ong, Anapchi Lake in Kyongju-shi and Miruksa Site. Analysis showed that red pigments on the lacquer with wooden from Anapchi Lake and Tomb at Tanwol-dong was found to Cinnabar, and those sample sexcavated from Hwang-namtaech′ong have been analyzed to calcite, maghematite and kornelite. In general, red pigments have two components like cinnabar and hematite. Hematite was found that red lacquer at Hwang-namtaech′ong was to beidentified Maghematite caused by their environment air pollution. Cinnabar was handled more valuable than hematite for unchanging characteristics for their colour under same condition since old times.

Johne's disease로 추정된 한우를 병리학적으로 검사한 결과, 병리해부소견으로는 장점막의 비후와 장벽의 비대 그리고 병리조직학적으로는 점막고유층과 점막층, 점막하직에 다량증식되어 있는 유상피세포와 그 세포질에 탐식되어 있는 항산성균을 관찰하였기에 Johne's disease로 확인되었다.

The fusion is an anomalous union of two or more tooth germ at some stage in the development process resulting in a decreased number of teeth in the dental arch. Fusion is common odontogenic anomaly but triplication of primary teeth is a rare phenomenon. We report a case of a 3 - year - old girl who visited our clinic for the pain on maxillary anterior tooth. The patient was diagnosed by the fusion of a the maxillary primary right central and lateral incisor with a supernumerary tooth and caries of dentine. And then, Endodontic treatment and composite resin restoration were performed on the triple teeth. After follow-up of 6 months period, there was no marked complications.
