미용사의 직무만족도와 직업관 (Beauty Shop Workers' Views of Job)

  • This study was conducted to examine beauty shop workers' views of job. Data were collected from the workers in Seoul, Daegu, Pohang, Junjoo, and Kimhae from June 1, 2000 to August 31, 2000. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 1. According to general characteristics of the subjects, 28,7% of them was female; 94.2% 'specialized in hair'; 46.4% 'below twenty nine years old'; 47.1% 'married'; 59.7% 'highschool graduate'; 33.9% 'worked for below three years'; 28.5% 'monthly income of five hundred thousand to nine hundred ninety thousand won'; 62.3% 'working for above twelve hours a day' ; 41.0% 'above five workers' ; 40.6% 'working in city'. 2. 54.8% of the respondents thought that they were in good health. 76.3% of them smoked and 54.8% drank. 62.8% of them did not exercise and 78.7% was under stress. 61.5% responded that they chose the job because of its possibility of professional vocation. 91.0% of them obtained the beauty skill from beauty schools. 3. Among the factors which influenced job satisfaction, 'stable job and life security' was highest(43.9%), while 'interest in the job and amount of pay' was lowest(3.2%). 'Personal ability and use of originality' was 19.4% and 'harmonious relationship with fellow workers' was 18.1%. 'Job environment' was 7.1% and 'harmonious relationship with higher workers' was 4.5%. 4. The level workers' view of job was $113.8{\pm}17.3$ points on the basis of 150 points. On the basis of 75 points, each item showed it points in order of self-development($22.3{\pm}3.8$), service for customers($20.1{\pm}3.1$), vocational mission($15.6{\pm}3.1$), harmony with the others($18.9{\pm}3.5$), working environment($18.6{\pm}3.6$), and working condition($14.3{\pm}5.1$). 5. Among the reasons why they considered leaving the job, 24.0% of them considered it because they could not free time, while 15.4% considered it because undesirable living environment or long distance from home. 15.0% thought it because they could not receive proper treatment as much as they worked and 12.8% thought they overworked. 6. When they move into new working places, they consider such factors as good working environment(24.1%), good place to open their own beauty shops(16.7%), good beauty shop to learn beauty skill(15.6%), chance to have job training(9.5%), and close place from home(9.0%). 7. 40.6% of the respondents wanted to leave the job, while 32.3% of them did not want to leave the job. The intention of leaving the displayed significant difference in the variables of age, working period, monthly income, marital status, the number of workers, location of the shop, rank, and reason of selecting the job. 8. According to the results of a regression analysis of factors which influenced job satisfaction, it was affected significantly by intention of leaving job, the number of workers, health condition, level of stress, and monthly income. The beauty shop workers showed low satisfaction level with working environment, working condition, and working mission, They considered leaving the job because of lack of free time, overwork, poor working environment, improper treatment, etc. Therefore, related professionals and organizations must device adequate measures in order to make them work with pride as creators of beauty.

청년실업의 이력현상 분석 (The Analysis of Hysteresis in Youth Unemployment)

  • 본 연구에서는 OECD 선진 21개국(우리나라 포함)의 연령층별 실업률 및 노동시장 제도 및 정책 변수를 이용하여, 청년실업 이력현상(hysteresis)의 존재 가능성과 그 크기를 시계열 및 국가패널 자료로 분석하였다. 크기 추정에 있어서는 병역의무 이행 등 우리나라 특수상황, 여성 경력단절 효과 등을 고려하여, 분석대상을 20~29세의 남성 청년층으로 한정하였다. 또한, 노동시장 제도 및 정책 변수로는 국가간 비교가 가능한 OECD자료의 8가지 변수를 감안하였는데, 우리나라는 고용보호법제화 지수를 제외한 여타 제도 및 정책들은 낮은 수준이었다. 시계열자료의 단위근 분석결과, 우리나라를 제외한 대부분 국가에서 청년실업률(15~24세)에 단위근이 존재하여 평균회귀 성향보다 전(前)기 의존성이 높았다. 우리나라는 15~29세, 20~29세 청년실업률에서 단위근이 존재하는 것으로 나타나 이력현상이 존재할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이력현상의 크기를 패널분석으로 추정한 결과, 직업훈련·취업지원 등 적극적 노동정책지출에 미온적이거나 고용보호법제가 엄격한 국가일수록, 청년기(20~29세)에 높은 실업률을 경험한 세대가 이후 연령대에서도 다른 세대에 비해 더 높은 실업률을 겪는 이력현상이 더 크게 나타나 선행연구의 결과를 재차 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서, 청년실업의 이력효과 완화를 위해서는 내실있는 직무 및 직업교육과 취업지원 등 효과적인 적극적 노동정책지출을 확대해 나가고, 고용보호법제내(內)에 청년고용을 제약하는 요소는 없는지 살펴보는 것이 바람직해 보인다.

보건소 영양사의 직무 특성 및 일반적 특성과 직무만족도의 관련성에 관한 연구 (A Survey on job characteristics and relationships between general characteristics and job satisfaction of the dietician in community health center)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the job characteristics and relationships between general characteristics and job satisfaction of the dietician in community health center. The subjects were 40 dieticians who responded to the questionnaire distributed at the annual education program in 1997. Statistical data analysis was completed using SAS package program for frequencies, means, $x^2$-test, ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 45.0% of the dieticians were 26 to 30 years old, four-year-course university graduates were 75.0% and daily workers were 72.5% The level of the job satisfaction of the dietician in community health center was the highest in the relationship with colleagues. The other parts of job satisfaction such as effects of nutrition counselling and education, value achievement as a dietician, general work and supervision by supervisors were above average, The general characteristics such as the age, the level of education, employment conditions, working hours per week and total length of service were significantly to all fields of job satisfaction except general work.

농촌(農村)의 인구전출(人口轉出)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on Out-migration of Rural People)

  • The rapid economic development of Korea since 1960 has also brought a rapid urbanization process, and recently many rural areas have begun to show actual depopulation, in which particularly the young, productive and high educated groups are leaving for cities. More than 70% of migrators go to large cities such as Seoul, Pusan and Taegu. Their main motives for migration are to seek a job in urban areas. The study showed following results; The rate of migration a year was 1% of total population. Regarding the age of migrators belong to between 10-39 years old, especially migrator aged 10-29 years are comprised 87%. The educational level of migrators was a little higher than that of the residents. Considering the sibling order of migrators, the traditional value system for first son seemed to change. Concerning the place of destination, more than 70% of migrators moved to large cities such as Seoul. Pusan and Taegu. The main motivation of migration was to seek a job in urban areas. The occupation at the place of destination were factory workers, employee at company, students, salesmen, farmers and public officials in that order.

국민건강영양조사 결과에 의한 한국인의 사고 유형 및 발생빈도 (Incidence and Types of Unintentional Injuries among Koreans Based on the 2001 National Health and Nutrition Survey)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of unintentional-injury and to identify factors related to the high incidence of unintentional-injury in the community in order to provide useful data for the development of prevention and intervention programs aimed at reducing unintentional-injury incidence. Methods: This study utilized data obtained from cross-sectional national surveys conducted for the 2001 National Health and Nutrition Survey targeting 37,769 individuals aged between 0 and 99 years old, which was performed using a face-to-face interview method. Demographic characteristics, unintentional-injury experience, types of injury, and attributes of health behavior were included in the study instruments. Results: About 1.3% of the subjects had experienced unintentional injury that required hospitalization at least once during the past year. Age older than 40 years, male gender, lower education, lower income, and blue collar workers were all significantly and positively associated with increased risk of unintentional-injury. Among the health behavior variables, sleeping less than 6 hours, drunk driving, and binge drinking were significantly associated with unintentional injury, while traffic accidents and falls/slips constituted 80% of all unintentional injuries. Conclusion: Public health efforts to reduce unintentional injuries should target high-risk populations such as males, those with low income and education levels, and binge drinkers.

농촌노인 생활지도의 방향과 지도과제 (The Direction and the Policy Task of Rural Guidance Project for Rural Aged)

  • In the process of industralization, Korea rural aged have played great role. By investing, educating, and supporting their brothers and children, rural aged transferred their economic surplus to non agricultural fields and urban areas. But they did not prepare for their old age. So in every agricultural policy implementation, special concern should be taken to rural aged. The rural home extension should be the major institution for the rural aged. This paper was carried out to find the direction and the policy task of rural guidance project for rural aged. This paper suggested the needs of support for the aged in family, economic status and income, and leisure. To support the aged in family, the rural home extension should teach them how to make good relationship between Mother-in-law and daughter in law and special support to families which composed of only rural aged(no children). The rural home extension program should provide special policy for job opportunity creation for the rural aged. The rural home extension should also make educational programs for useful utilization of leisure time of rural aged. The rural home extension should make major roles in rural aged related policy. So rural home extension workers are well trained in gerontology and more related information should be provided.

의료소비자들의 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 정보탐색 행태분석 (Information Searching Behavior of Health Care Consumers by Sociodemographic Characteristics)

  • Objectives : To investigate the information searching behavior of health care consumers according to sociodemographic characteristics. Methods : A questionnaire survey was conducted of 1,507 persons who were selected through a multi-stage stratified area cluster sampling of the Republic of Korea, excluding the province of Jeiu-do. Personal were conducted through a door-to-door survey between 27 July and 10 August 1999. Results : 80.5% of respondents used more than one source of information and those $40\sim59$ years of age, female, a housewife or student and those who claimed a religion demonstrated more active information searching behavior. A personal informer was used significantly more in those $20\sim39$ years old, female, and those who claimed a religion. Clerical workers, those with post-secondary education and a monthly income greater than 2,000,000 won ($1500) were more actively used a public informer. Low socioeconomic status and older persons used an experimental informer when they chose a health care institution. Conclusion : Regardless of the sociodemographic characteristics, personal and experimental informers were the most useful source of information. Because appropriate information was not easy to obtain, the health care consumer was dependent upon word-of-mouth communication(personal informer) when using health care services.

생산가능인구 감소시대에 대비한 장년 연구개발 인력 활용 모델 연구 (A Study on the Policy Implications for Using Aging Workforces of Research and Development Field in the Era of Working Age Population Decline)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 생산인구 감소 시대 도래와 정년 연장법 통과에 따라 고령화 되어가는 연구개발 인력들의 활용모델과 시사점을 발굴하는 것이다. 연구개발 분야의 장년 연구개발 인력들의 활용 가능성과 중요성에도 불구하고 이 분야에 대한 체계적인 연구가 부족하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 1) 장년 연구개발 인력들을 현재 일하는 기관에서 새로 고용되어 더 일할 수 있는 내부 정년 달성형 모델, 2) 현재 일하고 있는 기관과 연계된 기관에서 자신의 능력을 발휘할 수 있는 외부 연계 정년 달성형 모델, 3) 현재 일하고 있는 기관에서 정년을 연장하여 계속 일할 수 있는 정년 연장형 모델, 4) 새로운 기관으로의 재취업을 위해 정보를 제공하고 교육을 실시하는 전직지원형 모델으로 구분하여 구체적인 방안들을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 장년 연구개발인력을 지원할 수 있는 법제 개선과 장년 연구개발 인력들과 관리자간의 대화와 소통을 강조하는 내용을 제언하였다.

주 재배 작목별 한국 여성 농업인 체형 특성 (Characteristics of the Body Shape of Korean Woman Farmers by Crops)

  • This study was to research the characteristics of the body shape of Korean woman farmers by the major crops. Four hundred ninety-five Korean woman farmers from 9 different area such as Kumi, Damyang, Iksan, Injae, Chungju, Choongju, Haman, Whasung, and Whasoon volunteered for this study. Their major crops were the rice, the pepper, the water melon, the strawberry, the wild rocambole, the sweet persimmon, the grapes, the mushroom, and the chrysanthemums. Twelve body angles were measured from archived the somatotype photographs of the front, the side, and the back. Questionnaires of SF-36 and the farmer's symptom, and the farm-work related movements were surveyed. The results were as follows; 1. Farmers had lower health levels in physical role limit, pain, vitality, and physical function than other occupational workers. 2. Most farmers acted the high-risk ergonomics motions when they worked in the farm. 3. There were significantly different on the both shoulder angles, the hip tangential line slope, the hip breadth angel, in frontal ankle-knee angle, the bending back angle, the dropping breast slope, the abdominis media angle, under the abdominis media angle, the glutea angle, under the glutea angle, and the sideward knee angle(p<.05). 4. Farmers cultivating the low plants such as the water melon, the strawberry, and the wild rocambole showed more banded vertebralis and side knee angles. Farmers cultivating the red pepper showed the dropping the left shoulder and O shape legs. Farmers cultivating the fruit trees such as the sweet persimmon and the grapes showed the less banded side knee angles than other farmer groups. 5. On comparing the same age, farmers showed the older's body shape in earlier and much more than the old living in the city.

균형성과평가(BSC)모델을 활용한 청년·고령자 고용상생기업의 경영성과측정 -일본의 사례분석을 중심으로- (A Study on Performance Measurement of Generational Diversity Company using Balanced Scorecard (BSC): The case of Japanese Companies)

  • 본 연구에서는, 기업 경영적 측면에서 청년 고령자 고용상생을 촉진하기 위한 구체적인 실천방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 세대 간 고용상생을 위해 적극적으로 노력하고 있는 일본 기업의 고용상생 전략과 경영성과를 분석하였다. 경영전략은 인사조직 전략, 생산전략, 기술개발 및 인재육성 전략으로 구분하여 분석하였고, 경영성과는 균형성과평가 모델(BSC)을 활용하여 분석하였다. 청년 고령자 고용상생기업의 경영전략을 분석한 결과, 대부분의 기업에서는 청년 고령근로자의 협업과 유연근무제 도입, 기술개발을 위한 교육 프로그램을 적극적으로 실시하고 있었다. 또한, 균형성과평가(BSC)를 활용하여 경영성과를 분석한 결과, 매출액 증가 및 원가절감(재무 관점), 신규 거래처 증가 및 시장점유율 확대(고객 관점)와 같은 재무적 성과를 달성하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 재무적 성과 외에도 제품 및 서비스 품질개선(내부프로세스 관점), 청년 고령근로자의 기술향상(학습과 성장 관점)과 같은 비재무적 성과를 달성하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 향후 우리나라 기업의 청년 고령자 고용상생을 실천해 나가기 위한 구체적인 실천방안을 제시하였다.
