Purpose - China has become the world's largest market of Korean culture goods. However the distribution and information channel from which Chinese consumers can access to Korean contents remains under-explored. This study aimed to investigate Chinese consumers' information accessing behavior. Research design, data, and methodology - We collected the sample of 800 customers who are exposed to Korean Wave in China. Regression analysis is used to confirm the relationships in the research model. Results - The results showed that official channels such as state owned sites still play a significant role, Chinese consumers prefer to use unofficial channels and the private SNS is the most popular one. It is also found that users with low interests in Korean contents prefer offline/indirect channels while people who are highly immersed into Korean culture and spend longer time on it tend to favor online/unofficial channels. The results confirms that there are some users' characteristics such as gender, age, income and experience of visiting Korea are relevant to explain their propensity to select distribution and information channels for Korean contents. Conclusions - The study enables managers to develop the more effective distribution channel strategies according to the different target consumer groups.
Purpose: The objective of this research is to identify the core aspects of persuasive factors influencing consumer's experiential value towards using Augmented Reality (AR) try-on feature while shopping cosmetic products online. The conceptual framework of this study is adopted and integrated from the theoretical study on how narrative experience, media richness, and presence affect the formation of experiential value in the augmented reality interactive technology (ARIT) process. Research design, data and methodology: The sample (n = 550) were collected from online and offline questionnaires by using stratified random sampling and purposive sampling methods. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM) were used to analyze the data to confirm goodness-of-fit of the model and hypothesis testing. Results: The results indicated that media richness induced higher experiential value (consumer ROI, playfulness, service excellence and aesthetics), followed by narrative experience and presence towards using AR try-on feature. Conclusions: Consumer's experiential value towards using AR try-on feature when shopping cosmetic products online rely on media richness, narrative experience and presence respectively. Therefore, marketing practitioners are recommended to develop the feature design and content to be more useful, authentic, user-friendly and entertaining to better connect and provide confidence to consumers when shopping cosmetics online.
With the development of information technology (IT), various information systems (IS) such as Web-based systems and mobile systems have appeared utilizing different technologies. However, recent studies on IS use and user satisfaction rarely account for technological differences among IS and environmental characteristics where IS are intended to be used. The purpose of this research is to investigate the determinants of the use of Web-based ticketing systems for cultural activities and to empirically validate their relationships. Environmental psychology suggests that human beings respond to external stimuli from environments with their emotions, and their emotional states influence human actions, e.g., IS use in this research. Applying environmental psychology to the use of Web-based systems in the culture and entertainment industry, we propose that web site characteristics first influence a user's internal state of mind (i.e., flow) and then the flow state influences the IS use. Studies related to the state of flow collectively affirm the key role played by the flow construct in shaping individual attitudes and behaviors toward IS. Users' flow states are captured by their shopping enjoyment, perceived behavioral control, and the level of concentration on the IS use. Referring to social presence theory, we have included such web site characteristics as content quality, context of web site, and community quality. In our research model, a second order construct is utilized to represent web site quality, because flow theory suggests that holistic experiences with web-based systems (rather than individual characteristics of the web site) are important in explaining the IS use. Further, we have included trust as another important factor influencing the IS use since business transactions on the web encompass higher uncertainty comparing to offline transactions. In order to test our hypotheses, we have conducted an online survey which results in 1,141 valid responses in the final sample. The data were collected from respondents who have experiences in Internet ticketing systems. Although it was a convenient sample, the sample represents a wide variety of user demographics. Validity and reliability of the research instrument were tested and research hypotheses were examined using PLS Graph 3.0. The results indicate that web site characteristics significantly influence the level of user concentration, user's enjoyment in shopping, and perceived behavioral control. Further, the use of Internet ticketing systems is influenced by users' flow states and trust in the web channel. User satisfaction is turned out to be affected by the use of Internet ticketing systems. Unlike extant research on the relationship between web site characteristics and its use, our study has found that, in the culture and entertainment industry, the impact of web site characteristics on IS use is mediated by a user's flow state. This finding has a practical implication that web site design should include as many features that enhance shopping enjoyment and concentration. Other practical implications of these findings and future research implications are also discussed.

Objective : This study investigates correlations between job-stress and job-relation feture in occupational therapists in nursing home. Method : For this study, self-reported questionnaires were distributed by online and offline survey to 237 occupational therapist from May to June in 2012. Fifty two of the questionnaires were returned, acceptable 46 survey responses were analyzed, expect 6 unclearly answered. Result : The results correlations between the 6 job-stress factors(confliction of professional role, lack of professional knowledge and skills, problem of personal relationship, disagreement with predecessor(manager, chief, etc), limitation of medical system, inappropriate salary) and 4 job-relation feature(period of job, annual salary, work out of therapy, job stability). Conclusion : This study demonstrates correlations between job-stress factors and job-relation feature in occupational therapist working in nursing home. Job-stress average 3.52points of 5points contributes more affecting the stress. Further research is necessary to more sample occupational therapist in nursing home.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: With the advances in technologies, self-service kiosks at foodservice operations are becoming a new way of service provision. This study examined the relationships among the menu information quality, nutrition information quality, technology acceptance characteristics, and customer behavioral intention toward the kiosks in fast food restaurants. SUBJECTS/METHODS: A survey with a self-administered method was distributed online and offline. The sample consisted of customers who had used the kiosks at fast food restaurants in the last six months prior to the survey. The study hypotheses were tested by applying structural equation modeling. RESULTS: Structural equation modeling revealed the positive impacts of menu information quality and nutrition information quality, technology acceptance characteristics, and behavioral intention toward kiosks at fast food restaurants. On the other hand, one hypothesis (Hypothesis 4) on the impact of nutrition information quality on the perceived usefulness was rejected. CONCLUSION: The study is the first to investigate nutrition and menu information at foodservice kiosks and relate them to technology acceptance. The study is very timely and adequate in the time of the 4th industrial revolution. The critical importance of the presentation of nutrition information and menu information at the kiosks at fast food restaurants was verified. The academic and industrial implications of the study findings were discussed.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate effects of mobile web-based cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) convergence education for nurses. This study used a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. A sample of 46 nurses was included. The experimental group was given mobile web-based online CPR education with self-directed offline CPR practice. The control group was given traditional CPR lecture education with CPR practice. The data were collected using a structured questionnaire and performance skill test and were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 program. The experimental group had higher scores on CPR knowledge and CPR self-efficacy than those of the control group. there were no significant differences between groups (p=.741; p=.162). CPR skill ability was significantly higher in the experimental group compared to the control group(p=.001). This findings indicate that mobile web-based CPR convergence education can be an effective to strengthen CPR capabilities for nurses. These contribute to expanding convergence of education program development.
This study examined the perception and behavior of fast food restaurant customers toward ordering kiosk nutrition information. Specifically, the influence of nutrition information transparency and information quality on behavioral intention and revisit intention were identified. In addition, the difference in the nutrition information transparency and information quality was analyzed according to the health consciousness of the customers. The study employed a self-administered survey that was distributed both online and offline from November 8~22, 2018. The sample of the study was customers who had experienced ordering from the kiosk in a fast food restaurant in the six months prior to taking the survey. A total of 250 (98.0%) respondents completed the survey, which was used for data analysis. As a result, there was a significant relation between transparency and nutrition information quality (P<0.001). The higher the visibility and inferability of the nutrition information, the better the nutrition information quality. Nutrition information quality has a significant impact on the levels of customer satisfaction and revisit intention (P<0.001). For the differences in the transparency and nutrition information quality by health consciousness of customers, the results indicated that groups with high health consciousness (3.74 or higher) perceived a higher transparency and nutritional information quality than those with a lower health consciousness. These findings can form the basis of a strategy in developing nutrition information of ordering kiosks in restaurants. In addition, it can be applied to academia and industry.
Objectives: This study was conducted to investigate the boron concentrations in 30 slime products and estimate children's dermal exposure to boron. Methods: Thirty slime products from online and offline stores were purchased for boron analysis. The boron content of each slime sample was analyzed using ICP-OES. A nationwide survey was performed to determine use patterns of slimes by a home-visit survey of 10,000 children divided into three age groups: 0-2, 3-6, and 7-12 years. The dermal exposure to boron was calculated using an exposure algorithm for child slime users. Results: The proportion of the child population using slime was 45.8%, and the mean use frequency was $2.5{\pm}3.8$ per week (range: 0.08-35). Mean time spent playing with slime was $19.6{\pm}11.3min$ (range: 1-100). Twenty-five of the thirty slimes contained a boron concentration exceeding the EU limit for toys made with sticky material of 300 mg/kg. Dermal exposure ranged from $0.0008-13.78{\mu}g/kg/day$ with the maximum weight fractions of boron in the 30 products. The dermal exposure estimate was the highest in 7-12 years old group. Conclusion: Slime use among Korean children may cause high exposure to boron. Regulation is needed to minimize boron exposure from slime products.

Purpose This study examines the role of corporate image and privacy concerns in intention to use of online travel services using data from Vietnam. Design/methodology/approach The data collection was implemented to a student sample at the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi, which has a high concentration of young people who are interested in online travel in Vietnam. The paper based questionnaire was directly delivered to the respondents. After sorting to eliminate unfit samples, the number of responses was 541, which exceeds 500, the minimum number typically required. To test the hypotheses, we applied structural equation modeling (SEM) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was used to evaluate the reliability and validity of constructs in the model. We also used direct, indirect and total effect coefficient to evaluate the total impact of factors on the intention to use online services. Findings This study found that corporate image is positively associated to intention to use online services. It found a link between corporate image and privacy concerns, which suggests another way for firms to address their customers' privacy concerns; corporate image, which has received great attention in traditional offline sales channels, but not in online services, should receive higher attention in IS research. Online travel businesses, besides increasing ease of use, perceived usefulness and trust in their services, should focus on build a reliable corporate image, which can not only promote the service use but also help to eliminate users' the privacy concerns.
As the un-tact and on-tact consumption culture has proliferated due to the impact of COVID-19, 'live commerce', a form of shopping while communicating with customers through real-time streaming broadcasting, is emerging in the commerce and distribution industry. Live commerce provides an environment where customers can get the convenience of online shopping and enjoy un-tact shopping more realistically while communicating with the broadcaster in real time, as if purchasing directly from an offline store. Therefore, purchases using live commerce are expected to increase further. In this study, based on the characteristics of live commerce, the main factors influencing the increase in purchase intention through live commerce were derived and their influences were verified. In particular, this study examined these factors in multiple dimensions with focusing on strong interactivity, realistic presence, and providing detailed reviews with high credibility for products as the features of live commerce. This research collected sample data from actual users of live commerce and empirically analyzed the significance of the factors influencing the purchase increase of live commerce, thereby providing implications for knowledge management in a newly changed commerce environment in the un-tact era.
