컨벡스 헐을 이용한 개선된 구 좌표계 기반 렌더링 방법 (Improved Rendering on Spherical Coordinate System using Convex Hull)

  • 본 논문에서는 컨벡스 헐을 이용한 구 좌표계 기반 실시간 렌더링 알고리즘이 제안되었다. OpenGL 렌더링 파이프라인은 물체의 모든 정점들을 고려하지만, 제안된 방법은 물체의 가시 삼각형들을 검사하여 보이는 정점들만을 고려한다. 본 논문에서는 구좌표계 표현에서의 물체의 가시 영역을 결정하기 위하여, 카메라 절두체를 이루는 6개의 평면 방정식과 물체의 경계구와의 기하 관계를 이용한다. 또한 대상 물체의 컨벡스 헐(convex hull)의 최대 측면 성분(maximum side factor)을 고려하여 은면(hidden surface)을 제거하는 효과적인 방법이 구현되었다. 실험결과로부터 결과 영상이 원본 영상과 거의 같고, 렌더링 성능이 크게 개선됐음을 확인하였다.

An Analysis of the Features of 'Typically-Perceived-Situation(TPS)' for in-depth Understanding of Students' Ideas: The Case of Four Elementary School Students' TPSs related to the Action of Force

  • A Typically-Perceived-Situation(TPS) is a situation which might be useful for conceptual learning of science, rising spontaneously in an individual's mind when someone is thinking about, or in relation to, any object such as physical object, concept, situation, etc. But, for a discussion about the TPS' usefulness in depth, we need to analyze the specific features of the TPS in relation to conceptual learning of science. This study investigated four elementary school students' TPSs related to the topic of the action of force, especially (a) 'the situation where force is being acted on an object', and (b) 'the situation where force is not being acted on an object', with an interview as well as with a drawing-and-explanation type questionnaire. Their TPSs were then compared with their concepts, checked by a misconception questionnaire of choice-and-explanation type. The results showed that the students' TPSs illustrated not only their conceptions about the action of force, but also gave more fruitful details of their ideas, including (a) clues of their conceptions, (b) concrete situations, and (c) their past experiences with emotional components. On the whole, the TPS's appeared to be rather stable, affected by their past experiences, and needed to be analyzed into their sub-units for more subtle details. Finally, some practical ways of how to apply the ideas of the TPS to the conceptual learning of science are suggested.

『논리-철학 논고』의 그림 이론에 관하여 (On the Picture Theory of the Tractatus)

  • "논리-철학 논고"에서 비트겐슈타인은 이른바 그림 이론을 제시한다. 그렇다면 그림 이론의 요점이란 무엇인가? 그것은 어떤 철학적 문제를 해결하기 위해 제시되었는가? 나는 이 글에서 그림의 대상과 그림의 뜻은 상이하다는 것, 모사 관계와 투영 관계가 상이하다는 것, 그림 이론은 요소 명제뿐만 아니라 복합 명제에도 적용된다는 것, 그리고 한편으로 그림 이론이 해결하고자 했던 기본적인 문제는 의미 이론의 문제와 진리 개념의 문제이지만 다른 한편으로 더 중요한 문제는 비트겐슈타인이 "부정의 수수께끼"라고 부른 것이었음을 보이고자 한다. 그렇게 되면 우리는 "논리-철학 논고"의 그림 이론이 비유에 불과하고 내용이 없다는 해석이 전혀 옳지 않다는 것을 알 수 있다.

카메라-레이저스캐너 상호보완 추적기를 이용한 이동 로봇의 사람 추종 (Person-following of a Mobile Robot using a Complementary Tracker with a Camera-laser Scanner)

  • This paper proposes a method of tracking an object for a person-following mobile robot by combining a monocular camera and a laser scanner, where each sensor can supplement the weaknesses of the other sensor. For human-robot interaction, a mobile robot needs to maintain a distance between a moving person and itself. Maintaining distance consists of two parts: object tracking and person-following. Object tracking consists of particle filtering and online learning using shape features which are extracted from an image. A monocular camera easily fails to track a person due to a narrow field-of-view and influence of illumination changes, and has therefore been used together with a laser scanner. After constructing the geometric relation between the differently oriented sensors, the proposed method demonstrates its robustness in tracking and following a person with a success rate of 94.7% in indoor environments with varying lighting conditions and even when a moving object is located between the robot and the person.

  • 본 논문에서는 정확한 분석 모델을 제시할 수 있는 객체 모델링과 정형화 방법을 통해 개발자와 사용자간 효과적인 의사소통을 제공하고 객체모델의 정형화와 표준화에 필요한 형식명세로의 변환 규칙을 제안한다. 사용자의 요구에 따라 최적의 객체모델 선택을 위한 객체 모델 검색 프로토타입을 제시한다. 이를 통해서 적합한 모델을 선택할 수 있으므로 소프트웨어 개발시 비용과 노력을 최소화할 수 있다.

Gain-Tuning of Sensory Feedback for a Multi-Fingered Hand Based on Muscle Physiology

  • This paper discusses dynamic characteristics of motion of a pair of multi-degrees of freedom robot fingers executing grasp of a rigid object and controlling its orientation with the aid of rolling contacts. In particular, the discussions are focused on a problem of gain-tuning of sensory feedback signals proposed from the viewpoint of sensorymotor coordination, which consist of a feedforward term, a feedback term for controlling rotational moment of the object, and another term for controlling its rotational angle. It is found through computer simulations of the overall fingersobject dynamics subject to rolling contact constraints that some dynamic characteristics of torque-angular velocity relation may play an important role likely as reported by experimental results in muscle physiology and therefore selection of damping gains in angular velocity feedback depending on the guess of object mass is crucial. Finally, a guidance of gain-tuning in each feedback term is suggested and its validity is discussed by various computer simulations.

작품-인간-환경의 관계설정에 따른 미술관 전시공간의 유형적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Typological Analysis of the Museum Exhibition Space by Interrelationship Between Object, Human and Environment)

  • Since 20th century, the exhibition has expanded to more diverse fields and recognized as the medium which can build network among the Art, Human and society. Space design, although developed within mutual interaction and consideration of environment factors, has been treated without those background. Therefore it is straightforward to examine the exhibition space design synthetically not limit it by the analytical elements. Assuming three main mutual interactions, object human, and environment, we have attempt the typological analysis to the museum exhibition space by studying characteristics. While the exhibition space design has been analyzed through two dimensional interpretation, on this study, we structuralize diverse discussion of the exhibition space design by relation-centered and relative analysis. Therefor we examine the characteristic of design expression through typology of both physical and behavioral feature. In the conclusion, the outcome provides insights into the relationships among object, human and environment and useful measurements to designer who outline exhibition space design.

A Study on Efficient Classification of Pattern Using Object Oriented Relationship between Design Patterns

  • The Clustering is representative method of components classification. The previous clustering methods that use cohesion and coupling cannot be effective because design pattern has focused on relation between classes. In this paper, we classified design patterns with features of object-oriented relationship. The result is that classification by clustering showed higher precision than classification by facet. It is effective that design patterns are classified by automatic clustering algorithm. When patterns are retrieved in classification of design patterns, we can use to compare them because similar pattern is saved to same category. Also we can manage repository efficiently because of storing patterns with link information.

  • This paper proposes a new algorithm that detects and separates the occluding and occluded objects in a 2D image. An input image is represented by the attributed graph where a node corresponds to a surface and an arc connecting two nodes describes the adjacency of the nodes in the image. Each end of arc is weighted by relation value which tells the number of edges connected to the surface represented by the node in the opposite side of the arc. In attributed graph homogeneous nodes pertained to the same object always construct one of three special patterns which can be simply classified by comparison of relation values of the arcs.   • 융통성 있는 소프트웨어 개발을 위해 많은 객체지향방법론들이 제공되어 지고 있으나, 이러한 객체지향방법론들은 자동적으로 재사용을 제공하거나 건실한 소프트웨어 시스템을 만들지 못하고 있다. 따라서 이러한 객체지향 방법론들은 개발자에게 상세한 설계지침을 제공하지 못하고 있으며, 분석·설계자들로 이런 문제점들을 인정하고 방법론들을 향상시켜 나가려고 노력하고 있다. 이와 같이 분석·설계자들의 노력을 줄여 주면서 설계단계의 정보를 재사용할 수 있도록 제공하고자 하는 것이 설계패턴의 개념이며, 이러한 설계패턴과 객체지향 방법론은 상호 보완적인 관계를 가지면서 시스템을 개발하는데 유용한 설계 길잡이의 역할을 한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 객체지향 방법론 중에서 가장 많이 다루어지고 있는 OMT 방법론과 Gamma가 제안한 설계패턴 중 Facade, Mediator, Observer의 세 가지 설계패턴에 대한 상호작용을 보여주고, OMT방법론 내에 설계패턴을 적용함으로써 구체적인 설계지식과 재사용에 대한 명확한 해법을 제안한다.
