  • We construct a procedure to test the stochastic order of two samples of interval-valued data. We propose a test statistic that belongs to a U-statistic and derive its asymptotic distribution under the null hypothesis. We compare the performance of the newly proposed method with the existing one-sided bivariate Kolmogorov-Smirnov test using real data and simulated data.

  • The null hypothesis being tested by $the{\bar{X}}$ control chart is that the process is in control at a quality level ${\mu}o$. An ${\bar{X}}control$ chart is a tool for detecting process average changes due to assingnable causes. The major weakness of $the{\bar{X}}$ control chart is that it is relatively insensitive to small changes in the population mean. This paper presents one way to remedy this weakness is to allow each plotted value to depend not only on the most recent subgroup average but on some of the other subgroup averages as well. Two approaches for doing this are based on (1) moving averages and (2) exponentially weighted moving averages of forecasting method.

  • Some rank score tests are proposed for testing the equality of all sampling distribution functions against umbrella location-scale alternatives in k-sample problem. Only the case of known peak $\ell$ is considered. Under the null hypothesis and a contiguous sequence of unbrella location-scale alternatives, the asymptotic properties of the proposed test statistics are investigated. Also, the asymptotic local powers are compared with each others. The results show that the tests based on the Chen-Wolfe rank analogue statistic are more powerful than others for unequally spaced umbrella location-scale alternatives and robust.

  • The objective of this research is to investigate the problem of goodness-of-fit testing based on nonparametric density estimation with a data-driven smoothing parameter. The small and large sample properties of a new test statistic $\hat{\lambda_a}$ is investigated. The test statistic $\hat{\lambda_a}$ is itself a smoothing parameter which is selected to minimize an estimated MISE for a truncated series estimator of the comparison density function. Therefore, this test statistic leads immediately to a point estimate of the density function th the event that $H_0$ is rejected. The limiting distribution of $\hat{\lambda_a}$ is obtained under the null hypothesis. It is also shown that this test is consistent against fixed alternatives.

  • In this paper, we consider the problem of testing for a change of the parameter function ${\theta}(t)$ that may have a discontinuity at some unknown point ${\tau}$. We introduce a varying-h moving estimate to test the null hypothesis that ${\theta}(t)$ is continuous against the alternative that ${\theta}({\tau}-){\neq}{\theta}({\tau}+)$. Simulation results are provided for illustration.

  • Parks in Kwang Ju ar determined by the development of a housing project under the regulations of land development rather than the planning approach of park provision. This study tries to identify who is the provider of parks, to estimate the size of urban parks per person in the area of the housing project, to look at the spatial allocation patterns of park provision and to identify the character profiles of users and the social profile of an ares(Dong). This research has produced the following major conclusions : 1. The city government should set up a master plan of park provision to control park delivery system to avoid maldistribution. 2. A positive discrimination policy should be introduced to disadvantaged areas in terms of park provision. 3. The null hypothesis - there is no relationship between distance and park Use - is rejected by the correlation rate of 0.4984. 4. The ratio of parks per a person ; 10.43㎡/person in 1990 has decreased to 10.41㎡ /person in 1994. This means that the increase of parks in terms of quantity could not catch up the increase of population.

  • A new concept of aging classes namely new better (worse) than used at age $t_0$ in moment generating function order, $NBU_{mgf}-t_0$ ($NWU_{mgf}-t_0$) is introduced. For the classes $NBU_{mgf}-t_0$ ($NWU_{mgf}-t_0$), preservation under convolution, mixture, mixing and the homogeneous Poisson shock model are studied. In the sequel, nonparametric test is proposed, the asymptotic normality of the class is established and the asymptotic null variance is estimated. The percentiles and powers of this test are tabulated. The asymptotic efficiencies for some alternatives distributions are derived. Finally sets of real data are used as examples to elucidate the use of the proposed test in practical application.

  • In this research, the dimensional error of the measured specimen according to the measurement method was analyzed for the length, angle, radius of curvature and diameter using a projector which is used in industry. One-way analysis was performed on each data tested 30 times using a statistical technique. Through the experiment, it was found that an error occurred in each data when measuring the length and radius of curvature according to the measurement method, and the null hypothesis that no error occurred when measuring the angle and length was established. Based on this experimental data, the automatic measurement when measuring the projector causes less measurement error, so automatic measurement is recommended when measuring a small product. Also, an optimal measuring method is suggested for securing reliability on formulations of measurement automation.

  • Unlike other non-destructive inspection method, AE Structural defects that are likely to grow in the operation status can be detected, and the advantage of being due to the continuous monitoring of large structures has been widely used to evaluate the stability. AE sensor used to detect sound wave that occurs between 20kHz to 20MHz. and Sound wave result may vary depending on sensor's sensitivity. In this paper, Tensile test conducted on STS 304 and SS400, and tries to detect the crack signal. In tensile test, specimens were conducted using different sensor sensitivity to the same tensile test condition. The crack signal parameters divided into 4 types of communities by conducting cluster analysis. It was demonstrated that crack signal of two sensor is not different by statistical analysis of null hypotheses. Based on the results, waveform of this tension test is crack signal.

  • Recently, the Ministry of Education stipulates in the distance class operation regulations that student lecture evaluations for distance learning subjects should be conducted at least twice per semester and the results should be disclosed to students. Therefore, the lecture evaluation of D college was compared with the first semester of 2020 and the first semester of 2021. As for the multiple-choice evaluation result of the distance learning mid-course evaluation, the overall average of the mid-course evaluation of the distance class in the first semester of 2020 increased from 4.1819 to 4.4000 in the mid-course evaluation in the first semester of 2021.In the case of the first semester of 2020, due to Corona 19, all non-face-to-face classes were held, but in the first semester of 2021, face-to-face classes increased. The overall satisfaction level rose from 4.18 points in the first semester of 2020 to 4.39 points in the first semester of 2021. The screen composition, sound and picture quality, playback time, face appearance, lecture material provision, and frequency of use of the top 3% and bottom 3% also increased. Despite the changes caused by the LMS replacement, which was a concern, student attendance, assignments, and test submission rates also increased compared to the previous year. The null hypothesis that 'the difference between the two scores is the same' is the null hypothesis because the probability of significance is 0.000 and less than 0.05 in the case of the best 3% of the test result of the test result of the mid-course evaluation of distance classes in the first semester of 2020 and the evaluation of the intermediate lectures in the first semester of 2021. As this was rejected, it can be seen that the best score for the 2021 school year has significantly increased compared to the first semester of 2020. Also, in the case of Worst 3% or less, the significance probability is 0.000, which is less than 0.05, so the null hypothesis that 'the difference between the two scores is the same' was rejected, indicating that the Worst score for the 2021 school year was significantly higher than that for the first semester of 2020.
