Hard 분산 분할 기반 추론 시스템을 이용한 비선형 공정 모델링 (Nonlinear Process Modeling Using Hard Partition-based Inference System)

  • 본 논문에서는 Hard 분산 분할 방법을 이용하는 추론 시스템을 소개하고 비선형 공정을 모델링한다. 이를 위해 입력 공간을 분산 형태로 분할하고 소속 정도가 0 또는 1을 갖는 Hard 분할 방법을 이용한다. 제안한 방법은 C-Means 클러스터링 알고리즘에 의해 구현되며, 초기 중심값에 민감한 단점을 보완하기 위해 LBG 알고리즘을 적용하여 이진 분할에 의한 초기 중심값을 이용한다. Hard 분산 분할된 입력 공간은 규칙 기반의 시스템 모델링에서 규칙을 형성한다. 규칙의 전반부 파라미터는 C-Means 클러스터링 알고리즘에 의한 소속행렬로 결정된다. 규칙의 후반부는 다항식 함수의 형태로 표현되며, 각 규칙의 후반부 파라미터들은 표준 최소자승법에 의해 동정된다. 비선형 공정으로는 널리 이용되는 데이터를 이용하여 비선형 공정을 모델링한 후 특성을 평가한다.

Hopf Bifurcation Study of Inductively Coupled Power Transfer Systems Based on SS-type Compensation

  • In order to analyze the nonlinear phenomena of the bifurcation and chaos caused by the switching of nonlinear switching devices in inductively coupled power transfer (ICPT) systems, a Jacobian matrix model, based on discrete mapping numerical modeling, is established to judge the system stability of the periodic closed orbit and to study the nonlinear behavior of Hopf bifurcation in a system under full resonance. The general flow of the parameter design, based on the stability principle for ICPT systems, is proposed to avoid the chaos and bifurcation phenomena caused by unreasonable parameter selection. Firstly, based on the state equation of SS-type compensation, a three-dimensional bifurcation diagram with the coupling coefficient as the bifurcation parameter is established with a numerical simulation to observe the nonlinear phenomena in the system. Then Filippov's method based on a Jacobian matrix model is adopted to deduce the boundary of stable operation and to judge the type of the bifurcation in the system. Then the general flow of the parameter design based on the stability principle for ICPT systems is proposed through the above analysis to realize stable operation under the conditions of weak coupling. Finally, an experimental platform is built to confirm the correctness of the numerical simulation and modeling.

전력계통 동기발전기의 T-S Fuzzy 모델링 (T-S Fuzzy Modeling of Synchronous Generator in a Power System)

  • The dynamic behavior of power systems is affected by the interactions between linear and nonlinear components. To analyze those complicated power systems, the linear approaches have been widely used so far. Especially, a synchronous generator has been designed by using linear models and traditional techniques. However, due to its wide operating range, complex dynamics, transient performances, and its nonlinearities, it cannot be accurately modeled as linear methods based on small-signal analysis. This paper describes an application of the Takaki-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy method to model the synchronous generator in a single-machine infinite bus (SMIB) system. The T-S fuzzy model can provide a highly nonlinear functional relation with a comparatively small number of fuzzy rules. The simulation results show that the proposed T-S fuzzy modeling captures all dynamic characteristics for the synchronous generator, which are exactly same as those by the conventional modeling method.

  • Super-RENS (Super-Resolution Near-field Structure) 디스크 시스템은 BD (Blu-ray Disc) 이후의 차세대 광 기록 저장 시스템의 유망한 후보이다. 따라서 super-RENS 시스템을 위한 등화기 개발과 성능 분석을 위해 정확하고 신뢰성 있는 채널 모델링은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 super-RENS 시스템의 모델링을 위해 SCPWL (Simplicial Canonical Piecewise-Linear) 모델을 적용하고자 한다. Super-RENS 디스크로부터 획득한 RF 신호 샘플들을 사용하여 모의실험을 수행한 결과, super-RENS 시스템의 비선형 모델링을 위해 SCPWL 모델이 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • Control of Industrial processes is very difficult due to nonlinear dynamics, effect of disturbances and modeling errors. M.Morari proposed Internal Model Control(IMC) system that can be effectively applied to the systems with model uncertainties and time delays. The advantage of IMC is their robustness with respect to a model mismatch and disturbances. But it is difficult to apply for nonlinear systems. ANFIS(Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System) which contains multiple linear models as consequent part is used to model nonlinear systems. Generally, the linear parameters in ANFIS can be effectively utilized to control a nonlinear systems. In this paper, we propose new ANFIS-based IMC controller for nonlinear systems. Numerical simulation results show that the proposed control scheme has good performances.

  • The Inverted Pendulum has been one of most popular nonlinear dynamic systems for the exploration of control techniques. This paper presents a new linear optimal control techniques and nonlinear neural network learning methods. The multiayered neural networks are used to add nonlinear effects on the linear optimal regulator(LQR). The new regulator can compensate nonlinear system uncertainties that are not considered in the LQR design, and can tolerated a wider range of uncertainties than the LQR alone. The new regulator has two neural networks for modeling and control. The neural network for modeling is used to obtain a more accurate model than the given mathematical equations. The neural network for control is used to overcome deficiencies by adding corrections to the linear coefficients of the LQR and by adding nonlinear effects on the LQR. Computer simulations are performed to show the applicability and a more robust regulator than the LQR alone.

LDI NN auxiliary modeling and control design for nonlinear systems

  • This study investigates an effective approach to stabilize nonlinear systems. To ensure the asymptotic nonlinear stability in nonlinear discrete-time systems, the present study presents controller for an EBA (Evolved Bat Algorithm) NN (fuzzy neural network) in the algorithm. In fuzzy evolved NN modeling, the auxiliary circuit with high frequency LDI (linear differential inclusions) and NN model representation is developed for the nonlinear arbitrary dynamics. An example is utilized to demonstrate the system more robust compared with traditional control systems.

  • In the construction of successful fuzzy models for nonlinear systems, the identification of an optimal fuzzy model system is an important and difficult problem. Traditionally, sGA(simple genetic algorithm) has been used to identify structures and parameters of fuzzy model because it has the ability to search the optimal solution somewhat globally. But SGA optimization process may be the reason of the premature local convergence when the appearance of the superior individual at the population evolution. Therefore, in this paper we propose a new method that can yield a successful fuzzy model using VmGA(virus messy genetic algorithms). The proposed method not only can be the countermeasure of premature convergence through the local information changed in population, but also has more effective and adaptive structure with respect to using changeable length string. In order to demonstrate the superiority and generality of the fuzzy modeling using VmGA, we finally applied the proposed fuzzy modeling methodof a complex nonlinear system.

C-Means 클러스터링 기반의 Type-2 퍼지 논리 시스템을 이용한 비선형 모델 설계 (Design of Nonlinear Model Using Type-2 Fuzzy Logic System by Means of C-Means Clustering)

  • 본 논문에서는 비선형 모델의 설계를 위해 Type-2 퍼지 논리 집합을 이용하여 불확실성 문제를 다룬다. 제안된 모델은 규칙의 전 후반부가 Type-2 퍼지 집합으로 주어진 Type-2 퍼지 논리 시스템을 설계하고 불확실성의 변화에 대한 비선형 모델의 성능을 해석한다 여기서 규칙 전반부 멤버쉽 함수의 정점 선택은 C-means 클러스터링 알고리즘을 이용하고, 규칙 무반부 퍼지 집합의 정점 결정에는 경사 하강법(Gradient descent method)을 이용한 오류 역전파 알고리즘을 사용하여 학습한다. 또한, 제안된 모델에 관련된 파라미터는 입자 군집 최적화(Particle Swarm Optimization; PSO) 알고리즘으로 동조한다. 제안된 모델은 모의 데이터집합(Synthetic dadaset), Mackey-Glass 시계열 공정 데이터를 적용하여 논증되고, 기존 Type-1 퍼지 논리 시스템과의 근사화 및 일반화 능력에 대하여 비교 토의한다.

  • This paper deals with the continuous-discrete estimation problem using FIR filters and performs modeling error analyses of the FIR filters, compared to Kalman filter and the limited memory filters, via computer simulations. It is shown that, the less driving noise the system has, the better performance the FIR filter exhibits and that this characteristic appears rare distinctly in nonlinear system than in linear systems.
