다중 성분의 저표본화된 AM, FM 및 AM-FM 신호들의 복조와 성능 (Demodulation and Performance of Multicomponent Undersampled AM, FM and AM-FM Signals)

  • We propose an nonlinear demodulation algorithm for undersampled multicomponent AM(Amplitude Modulation), FM(Frequency Modulation) and AM-FM signals. First, we derive respectively undersampling frequency of the AM, FM and AM-FM using undersampling scheme, and separate respectively monocomponent signals from multicomponent signals using periodic algebraic separation algorithm. In this case augmented separation matrix is very regular and sparse, it has a special structure. The proposed demodulation algorithm detects respectively message signals of the IA(Instantaneous Amplitude) and IF(Instantaneous Frequency) from descrete monocomponent AM, FM and AM-FM signals with an undersampling frequency to be controllable. Verifying the RMS(Root Mean Squares) errors of the detected signals, we show that the performance is excellent.

  • This paper addresses the systematic approach to the fuzzy modeling of the class of complex and uncertain nonlinear systems. While the conventional genetic algorithm (GA) only searches the global solution, Virus-Evolutionary Genetic Algorithm(VEGA) can search the global and local optimal solution simultaneously. In the proposed method the parameter and the structure of the fuzzy model are automatically identified at the same time by using VEGA. To show the effectiveness and the feasibility of the proposed method, a numerical example is provided. The performance of the proposed method is compared with that of conventional GA.

  • A new algorithm is proposed to identify the structure and the parameters of the nonlinear discrete-time plant with only the unknown dynamics and the weak informations about its structure. The proposed algorithm is constructed with the compensation method of weghing values using its previous derivatives and with the efficient technique updating self-learning coefficients. The result in this application is thought to prove the effectiveness of the algorithm proposed in this paper and its superiority to the conventional ones.

Conjugate finite-step length method for efficient and robust structural reliability analysis

  • The Conjugate Finite-Step Length" (CFSL) algorithm is proposed to improve the efficiency and robustness of first order reliability method (FORM) for reliability analysis of highly nonlinear problems. The conjugate FORM-based CFSL is formulated using the adaptive conjugate search direction based on the finite-step size with simple adjusting condition, gradient vector of performance function and previous iterative results including the conjugate gradient vector and converged point. The efficiency and robustness of the CFSL algorithm are compared through several nonlinear mathematical and structural/mechanical examples with the HL-RF and "Finite-Step-Length" (FSL) algorithms. Numerical results illustrated that the CFSL algorithm performs better than the HL-RF for both robust and efficient results while the CFLS is as robust as the FSL for structural reliability analysis but is more efficient.

Resource Allocation for Device-to-Device Communications Reusing Uplink in Cellular Networks

  • Efficient spectrum sharing is an important issue in Device-to-Device (D2D) communications underlaying cellular networks as it can mitigate the interference to cellular users and improve the performance of the systems. In this paper, we formulate the radio resource allocation in D2D communications as a mixed nonlinear integer programing. We show the formulated problem is NP-hard and thus a polynomial time algorithm to solve is not possible. Since such a problem is very hard to obtain the optimal solution within a short running time, we instead propose a fast heuristic suboptimal algorithm to mitigate the interference caused to cellular users and improve the performance of the systems. Simulation results are provided to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm.

  • According to the controllability of pulse times and the amount of jumps in the states at these times in the process of fed-batch culture producing 1,3-propanediol, this paper proposes a terminal optimal control model, whose constraint condition is the nonlinear impulsive delay system. The existence of optimal control is discussed and an optimization algorithm which is applied to each subinternal over one cycle for this optimal control problem is constructed. Finally, the numerical simulations show that the terminal intensity of producing 1,3-propanediol has been increased obviously.

  • For Fast Real-time Recognition of Nonlinear Error Data, a new Neural Network algorithm which recognized the map in real time is proposed. The proposed neural network technique is the real time computation method through the inter-node diffusion, In the network, a node corresponds to a state in the quantized input space. Each node is composed of a processing unit and fixed weights from its neighbor nodes as well as its input terminal. The most reliable algorithm derived for real time recognition of map, is a dynamic programming based algorithm based on sequence matching techniques that would process the data as it arrives and could therefore provide continuously updated neighbor information estimates.   • In order to approximate a nonlinear function, wacelet neural networks combining wacelet theory and neural networks have been proposed as an alternative to conventional multi-layered neural networks. wacelet neural networks provide better approximating performance than conventional neural networks. In this paper, an effective method to construct an optimal wavelet neural network is proposed using genetic alogorithm. Genetic Algorithm is used to determine dilationa and translations of wavelet basic functions of wavelet neural networks. Then, these determined dilations dilations and translations, wavelet neural networks are funther trained by back propagation learning algorithm. The effectiveness of the final network is verified thrifigh the approximation result of a nonlinear function and comparison with conventional neural networks.

  • This paper presents an on-line scheme for parameter estimation of continuous-time systems, based on the model adjustment technique and the genetic algorithm technique. To deal with the initialisation and unmeasurable signal problems in on-line parameter estimation of continuous-time systems, a discrete-time model is obtained for the linear differential equation model and approximations of unmeasurable states with the observable output and its time-delayed values are obtained for the nonlinear state space model. Noisy observations may affect these approximation processes and degrade the estimation performance. A digital prefilter is therefore incorporated to avoid direct approximations of system derivatives from possible noisy observations. The parameters of both the model and the designed filter are adjusted on-line by a genetic algorithm, A set of simulation works for linear and nonlinear systems is carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, a control algorithm for the improvement of yaw and velocity stability of electrical vehicle with two or four in-wheel motors is proposed. The vehicle is modeled with independently operative in-wheel motor wheels. Different frictions on the wheels are regarded as disturbances, which causes driving instability. In this situation the proposed algorithm enables stabilizing the yaw motion and velocity of vehicle simultaneously. The proposed PID controller is composed with two techniques, which enhance the disturbance reject and point tracking performances. One is nonlinear gain function and the other one is improved integral controller operating as time based weight function. Simulation is conducted to reveal its efficient performance.
