유기물(有機物) 시용(施用)이 땅콩 생육(生育)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of Organic Materials Application on Growth of Peanut Plant)

  • 숙전(熟田)과 신야산개간지(新野山開懇地) 토양(土壤)에서 유기물(有機物) 종류별(種類別) 시용(施用)이 땅콩의 생육(生育)과 수량(收量) 그리고 토양화학성(土壤化學性)에 미치는 효과(效果)를 검토(檢討)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1. 숙전(熟田)에서는 신선(新鮮)한 유기물(有機物)인 볏짚, 왕겨 시용이 수량(收量)을 증가(增加)시켰으나 야산개간지(野山開墾地)에서는 퇴비(堆肥) 시용(施用)이 수량(收量)을 증가(增加)시켰다. 2. 야산개간전(野山開墾田)에서 C/N율(率)이 높은 볏짚, 왕겨 시용구(施用區)가 근류(根瘤) 착생량(着生量)이 많았다. 3. 유기물(有機物) 함량(含量)이 많을수록 야산개간전(野山開墾田)에서 수량(收量)이 증가(增加)되었으나 숙전(熟田)은 경향이 없었다. 4. 시험후(試驗後) 토양중(土壤中) 유기물(有機物) 함량(含量)은 숙전(熟田)에서는 변화(變化)가 없었으나 야산개간전(野山開墾田)은 약간 증가(增加)되는 경향(傾向)이었다.

신축공동주택에서 플러쉬아웃 실시에 따른 실내 VOCs 농도저감 효과에 관한 연구 (Reduction of Indoor VOCs' Concentrations using Flush-out in a Newly Built Apartment)

  • The purpose of this study was to confirm the effects of flush-out on the reduction of Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs) concentration in newly built residential buildings. The field measurements were conducted in two complexes of multi-residential buildings which are located suburban areas of Seoul. About three samples of residential buildings were selected in the field measurements. Two samples, B and C, had been flush-out with outdoor air more than seven days. The sample A was maintained at same condition during the flush-out because of the comparison. The indoor concentrations of VOCs in the three samples were measured at three times, before, during, and after flush-out. From the field measurements, it was confirmed that two samples' indoor VOCs' concentrations were considerably decreased after the flush-out comapred with those of the sample A in which the flush-out was not conducted. The decreases of indoor VOCs concentrations were corresponding to about 50% ~ 92% of the concentrations of before. Through the reviews for the previous studies, it was also found that the reduction effects of the flush-out is similar with the those of the bake-out which were reported in the previous studies.

신규 개간 유기농경지에서 가축분 퇴비와 녹비작물 연용에 따른 밭 토양의 이화학적 특성 변화 모니터링 (Monitoring for Change of Soil Characteristics by repeated Organic Supply of Comport and Green Manures in Newly reclaimed Organic Upland Field)

  • 본 연구에서는 신규 개간 유기농경지에서 가축분 퇴비와 녹비작물을 3년간 연속으로 시용하였을 때 유기물 처리에 따른 밭 토양내의 이화학성과 물리성 변화를 관찰하고자 수행하였다. 가축분 퇴비와 녹비작물을 연속으로 3년간 처리한 시험구는 무처리구, 화학비료 처리구와 비교하여 유기물 함량, 유효인산, 치환성 양이온 등 대부분의 무기성분 농도가 증가하였으며, 밭 토양 최적범위에 근접하는 결과를 나타내었다. 하지만, 유기물 함량 증가의 경우, 보다 정확한 결과를 도출하기 위해서는 중 장기적으로 유기물 함량의 변화에 주목하여 조사할 필요가 있다고 생각되며, 치환성 양이온의 경우에는 그 농도가 지속적으로 증가하여 약 2년 이내에 밭 토양 화학성분의 최적범위에 적합한 수치에 도달하였으나 이를 3년간 연작할 경우 오히려 과잉 공급의 우려가 될 것으로 판단된다. 가축분 퇴비와 녹비작물의 연용은 토양내의 용적밀도 감소와 공극율 증가 등의 물리성 개선에도 다소 효과를 보였다. 따라서, 가축분 퇴비와 녹비작물을 함께 활용하여 연용하게 된다면 비옥도가 낮은 척박한 신규 개간 유기농경지에서 토양의 양분을 확보하고 빠른 시일 내에 토양의 비옥도를 개선하는 조기숙전화 기술 개발에 긍정적인 효과를 가져 올 것으로 판단되며, 본 연구결과는 신규 개간 유기농 밭에서 가축분 퇴비와 녹비작물을 반복적으로 시용함에 따른 시기별 토양내의 양분성분 변화를 제시하는 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

신축 공동주택 및 건축자재에서의 오염물질 방출 특성 (A Study on the Emission Characteristics of Gaseous Organic Contaminants from Building Materials and Newly Constructed Apartments)

  • We investigated the emission characteristics of gaseous organic contaminants from building materials and newly constructed apartments. The emission test for building materials was done with small chamber method, and field measurements in newly constructed apartment were carried out by Korea Standard Test Method for Indoor Air Quality. First, the emission test by small chamber showed that the TVOC emission from building materials was much higher than formaldehyde. On the other hand, as expected, considerably high concentration of both TVOC and HCHO was detected in the new apartment.

  • Low-temperature curable organic insulator was prepared through blending of polyimide type base resin and cross-linking agent. The newly developed resin can be formed into films using a wet process and cured at $130^{\circ}C$. Using the low temperature cured film as the gate dielectric layer, the field effect mobility of $0.15\;cm^2/V{\cdot}s$ was obtained from a pentacene field effect transistor in the saturation regime and no hysteresis behavior was observed in transfer curves.

  • In recent days, IAQ(Indoor Air Quality) is regarded as one of the most important environmental factors as well as thermal and acoustic comfort. Various architectural materials are applied and air-tightness of the building is more strengthening to save energy consumption. This is why the air quality of the newly built houses became worse. In this study, contaminants(CO, CO$_2$, Radon, TVOCs, HCHO) density was measured in a newly built house and evaluation was carried out by ASHRAE and EPA Standards. As a result, CO, CO$_2$, TSP and Radon density of the newly built house was in a range of ASHRAE and EPA Standards, but it turned out TVOCs and HCHO density exceeds almost 3${\sim}$5 times in comparison with that of ASHRAE and EPA Standards.

  • Because of the high airtightness and insulation of the building, indoor environment has been largely polluted resulted from insufficient ventilation and occurrence of new air pollutant. These factors have made worse indoor air quality and caused symptoms of the SHS(Sick House Syndrome), MCS(Multi Chemical Sensitivity). The purpose of this study is to present the fundamental strategies for improving the Indoor Air Quality(IAQ) in newly-constructed apartment buildings. To investigate the concentration of indoor air pollutants such as Formaldehyde and VOCs, the field measurement were conducted.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of living factors on TVOC(Total Volatile Organic Compounds) concentrations for newly-built apartments. The field measurements of TVOC concentrations were made totally 30 times(5 times per one subject house) in six apartment units in which residents recently moved. Those apartments authorized its business approval before May 2004, the Act of Indoor Air auality Management for multi-use facilities. The findings were as follows: The TVOC concentrations of the measured subject apartments ranged from about 1/10 of the recommended standard for multi-use facilities($400{\mu}g/m^3$) to up to 90 times as high as the standard. Since then, the Recommended Standard of Indoor Air Quality Management for newly-built apartment house was announced in December 2005. In accordance with this standard($2390{\mu}g/m^3$) it ranged from about 1/100 to up to 15 times as high as the standard. The subject house whose TVOC concentrations reduced below the recommendation standard in the shortest period had the largest amount of ventilation (all the windows were open for ventilation in the past three months) among ail measured houses. The reason of another house whose TVOC concentrations were much higher than the rest was fronted with new furniture in the room. It's recommended that they should open all the windows for at least three months for ventilation in newly-built houses, and it would be better to avoid remodeling than needs be.

신축 아파트의 TVOC 농도 및 거주자의 새집증후군 반응 (TVOC Concentrations and Residents' Responses on Sick House Syndrome of Newly-Built Apartments)

The field measurements of TVOC concentrations were made totally 30 times(5 times per one subject house) in six apartment units in which residents recently moved. The Questionnaire surveys of residents' subjective responses on the Sick House Syndrome were carried out in 2nd measurement of each house. Respondents consisted of 20 residents living in the measured houses. The findings were as follows: The TVOC concentrations of the measured subject apartments ranged from about 1/10 of the recommended standard for multi-use facilities($400{\mu}g/m^3$) to up to 90 times as high as the standard. Since then, the Recommended Standard of Indoor Air Quality Management for newly-built apartment house was announced in December 2005. In accordance with this standard($2390{\mu}g/m^3$) it ranged from about 1/100 to up to 15 times as high as the standard. The subject house whose TVOC concentrations reduced below the recommendation standard in the shortest period had the largest amount of ventilation (all the windows were open for ventilation in the past three months) among all measured houses. There turned out to be no apparent relations between the TVOC concentrations and the residents' individual responses of Sick House Syndrome. It's recommended that they should open all the windows for at least three months for ventilation in newly-built houses, and it would be better to avoid remodeling than needs be.

신축공동주택에서의 실내공기 오염물질 방출 저감 프로세스에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Proper Reduction Process of Indoor Air Pollutants In Newly-Constructed Multi-Family Houses)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate actual air quality in newly-constructed multi-family houses and to improve Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). The field measurement was conducted in four different newly-constructed multi-family house complexes in Seoul and one existing multi-family house complex in Kyong-gi province. The result of the measurement shows that indoor concentrations of Formaldehyde and TVOC in newly-constructed multi-family houses are much higher than the foreign standards. To establish a proper process for reducing indoor air pollutants, various experiments have been conducted; application of natural materials, bake-out practice, closure of all openings without ventilation, and use of mechanical ventilation system. The result indicates that three practices (natural materials, bakeout, mechanical ventilation) can reduce the level of indoor air pollutants almost in half during the experiments. However, each practice has its limitation and is insufficient to satisfy IAQ standards. Therefore, the study proposes a proper reduction process of indoor air pollutants which combines four different practices in time sequence.
