미나리아재비과 너도바람꽃속의 1신종인 풍도바람꽃이 한국의 경기도 안산시 풍도에서 발견되어 기재되었다. 신종은 화판이 넓은 누두형이고, 길이 2.5-3.7 mm, 너비 2.4-3.5 mm이며, 제한된 분포역을 가짐으로써, 이와 유사한 변산바람꽃과 뚜렷이 구별되었다.

A new oenonid polychaete, Arabella turbidiricolor sp. nov., collected from intertidal zone along the coasts of eastern, western, and southern Korea is described. In Korea, this new species might have been confused with Arabella iricolor(Montagu, 1804), the type species of the genus, in having the following characteristics: ventralmost chaeta tapering gradually to guard, MI left robust and right gracile, MII right long, MV both with one tooth and posterior postchaetal lobe shorter than chaetae. However, A. turbidiricolor sp. nov. is readily distinguished from the latter by the following features: ventral maxillary carriers longer than or equal to dorsal, MI both distally falcate, and pygidium with two swollen pads. We provide detailed descriptions and illustrations for the new species in the present study. Also, morphological characteristics of known Arabella species are compared and discussed with a key to them.

Two freshwater cyclopoid species including a new species are added to Korean copepod fauna: Ochridacyclops coreensis n. sp. and Itocyclops yezoensis (Ito, 1953). Both species were collected from the semi-subterranean waters like springs and wells. The present paper deals with the description of the new species and the systematic accounts on the two species, based on the morphological character comparison with the related congeners.

Examining polychaetous annelids collected from Chinhae Bay in the southeastern part of Korea, I found three species which should be added in the list as new to the polychaetous annelid fauna of Korea. In the present study three species are reported with morphological descriptions. Consquently, it totals 133 species of polychaetous annelids from Korea including those previously reported.

물봉선속(봉선화과)의 1신종인 꼬마물봉선이 한국의 경상북도 영천시 보현산에서 발견되어 기재되었다. 신종은 근연종인 물봉선(I. textorii)에 비해 1/2 크기의 꽃, 급격히 좁아지는 하악편, 1/2 회에서 1 회 감기는 거, 타원형인 측화판의 선단부 열편을 가짐으로써 뚜렷하게 구별되었다. 본 연구에서 이들 두 종의 검색표를 제시하였다.

Four new Korean records of the gammarid (Crustacea, Amphipoda), Grandidierella fasciata Ariyama, 1996; Moolapheonoides acutifalcatus Kobayashi and Ishimaru, 2005; Guernea terelamina Hirayama, 1985; and Gordonodius zelleri (Berge, Vader and Coleman, 1999) were reported from the Korean indigenous species survey project funded by the National Institute of Biological Resources (2014-2015). Each of these species is well accorded with the original description for the species except for some minor morphological differences. The genera Moolapheonoides Barnard, 1974 and Gordonodius Ariyama, 2011 are reported for the first time from Korea.

A taxonomic study on marine sponges was conducted by SCUBA diving at Gageodo Island, Korea from August 1999 to July 2001. Among them, Haliclona (Gellius) coreana n. sp. turned out to be new to science. This new species seems to be close to H. (G.) arcoferus Vosmaer, 1885, based on the type of spicules. However, it is different in size of toxa and growth form. Toxa of the new species is half in length compared to H. (G.) arcoferus. The growth form is jar shaped in this new species, but flat in H. (G.) arcoferus.

남한의 30여개 지역의 삼림토양에서 뿔톡토기과를 채집하여 동정한 결과 3속 10종을 얻은 바 이 가운데 6신종 (Entomobrya jirisana n. sp., Entomobrya quadrata n. sp., Entomobrya vigintiseta n. sp., Entomobrya monopunctata n. sp., Homidia heugsanica n. sp., Homidia bilineata n. sp.) 및 1 한국미기록종 (Sinella curviseta Brook, 1882)을 확인하였다. 그러나 Entomobrya monopunctata n. sp. 는 잣나무에서 채집되었고 Sinella dubiosa Yosii, 1956는 눈이 없는 진동굴성으로 삼척의 초당굴미기록종이다. 본 연구결과 한국산 뿔톡토기는 모두 3속 23종이 된다.

우리나라 황해의 격포와 백령도에 채집된 무낭류 신종을 보고한다. 신종은 은벽의 특징, 원위 극의 위치, 충실구 위쪽의 초생달 모양 구조물과 극이 충실복벽을 향해 많이 굽어지지 않은 점 등이 C. spiniferum과 비슷하다. 갈색의 극, 흔치않은 원위 극과 상악의 끝이 갈고리처럼 굽은 점이 확연히 다르다. 자루조두체이끼벌레속(Cauloramphus)은 한국에서 처음으로 보고된다.

Linyphiidae Blackwall, 1859 is one of the most diverse and largest families within the order Araneae Clerck, 1757. Of the currently 60 valid species of the genus Neriene Blackwall, 1833 worldwide, 10 species are distributed in Korea. The males of the new sheet-web spider Neriene bovista sp. nov. were recently collected with a sweep net between the shrubs of mixed forests from the hilly valley with well conserved nature in Uljin-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do (the middle east coast region) during a seasonal survey of the spider fauna in hilly terrains in 2017-2018. The present study describes a new sheet-web spider, Neriene bovista sp. nov. with a diagnosis, detailed description, morphological illustrations, and a distribution map from Korea. The new species has a characteristic mushroom-like tip of the terminal apophysis, the truncated tip of anterior projection, and the bifurcated lateral projection of the lamella compared to the congeners of the genus Neriene Blackwall, 1833.
