Mites of the genus Antennoseius of family Ascidae are free-living soil predator mostly observed on the open grass field. In Korea, only two species, Antennoseius imbricatus Ishikawa, 1969 and A. japonicus Ishikawa, 1979 were reported in 1990s. Recent series of soil acarine biodiversity survey in Gyeongbuk province during 2009-2015. We recovered a new record of Antennoseius avius (Karg, 1976) to Korean inventory from riparian grassland. Detailed description of the species as well as the identification key to the genus and species were provided.

The Cymatium Roding, 1798 is a small- to large-sized marine gastropod genus. Three species has been reported thus far for Cymatium in the Korean waters. In general, Cymatium encausticum (Reeve, 1844) is known to occur in tropical seawaters including the Philippine Islands along with its congeners C. gutturnium, C. springsteeni, and C. exile. A single individual of the species was collected from Jejudo Island by SCUBA diving and morphological features were observed using a stereomicroscope. This is the first study to report the occurrence of Cymatium encausticum (Reeve, 1844) from the Korean waters, providing a detailed description of the species with the illustration for the shell morphology.

Atimia nadezhdae Tsherepanov which belongs to tribe Atimiini LeConte (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Aseminae) is recognized in Korea for the first time. Diagnosis and photographs of adult and male genitalia of the species are provided herein.

We recognized Pachyserica yanoi Nomura which belongs to the genus Pachyserica Brenske, 1897 (Coleoptera, Melolonthidae) in Korea for the first time. A key to the genera of Korean Sericini, diagnosis and photographs of this species are provided.

Acrolepiopsis nagaimo (Yasuda, 2000) belonging to the family Acrolepiidae (Lepidoptera) is newly reported from Korea. The species was first collected at Gimcheon-si in 2003 and later they were found to infest Chinese yam, Dioscorea batatas at a Chinese yam experimental field of the Institute for Bioresources Research located at Andong in 2008. Diagnostic characteristics of the adult are described and photographs of adult and male and female genitalia are provided.

A single juvenile malacanthid specimen (Hoplolatilus chlupatyi) was collected from the South Sea of Korea and identified by DNA barcoding. This species is readily distinguished from other malacanthid species in having well developed rostral spine and elongated spines in the posttemporal and preopercle. A molecular analysis based on mitochondrial DNA COI sequences showed that this species is matched to adult H. chlupatyi (genetic distance = 0.005). Therefore, this is the first record of H. chlupatyi in Korea. We propose new Korean names, "Mu-ji-gae-og-dom-sog" for the genus Hoplolatilus and "Mu-ji-gae-og-dom" for the species H. chlupatyi.

Three specimens of Lutjanus ophuysenii (217.8-226.7 mm in standard length) were collected by a gill net at Korea between August 2015 and July 2016. This species has not previously been recorded from Korea. L. ophuysenii is very similar to Lutjanus vitta. But several morphological characteristics distinguish the two species, including the number of lateral line scales (46-49 scales in L. ophuysenii; 49-52 scales in L. vitta), a black spot in the middle part of the longitudinal stripe (present in L. ophuysenii; absent in L. vitta), and the absence of a scale on posterior end of the preopercle in L. ophuysenii (present in L. vitta). The Korean name proposed for L. ophuysenii is "Jeom-jul-tung-dom."

Heterodermia flabellata (F$\acute{e}$e) D. D. Awasthi was found as a new lichen record in Jeju Island of South Korea in 2012. A detailed taxonomic description and comments are provided for the taxa. An updated key for all recorded species of Heterodermia from South Korea is given.

Seven species of the subfamily Crambinae [Crambus silvellus Hubner, C. pseudargyrophorus Okano, Flavocrambus picassensis Bleszynski, Glaucocharis moriokensis (Okano), G. copernici Bleszynski, G. electra Bleszynski, and Miyakea expansa (Butler)], are reported for the first time in the Korean peninsula. Diagnostic characters with illustrations of the male and female genitalia are given. The genus Miyakea Marumo is also the first record in Korea.

Stenomacrus deletus (Thomson, 1897), belonging to Orthocentrinae of Ichneumonidae, is newly recognized in South Korea. Most Stenomacrus species are known as koinobiont endoparasitoids of dipteran, lepidopteran, and coleopteran hosts. In this study, an additional species is recorded for the first time from South Korea. Diagnoses of genus and an unrecorded species, as well as illustrations of this species are provided.
