Silla Great Bell was manufactured in order to ring for the new millennium in succession to King Seongdeok Divine Bell. This study investigates how Silla Great Bell is similar to King Seongdeok Divine Bell in respect of structure and sound. First, design and manufacturing processes are introduced and dimensions of the two bells are compared and the similarity is estimated. Three main characteristics of the sound of a Korean bell are magnificent and harmonic striking sound, dynamic beat, and long lasting hum tone. These three features are compared and objectively estimated using physical parameters. The purpose of the study is to provide useful information to manufacture Korean bell which has beautiful appearance and excellent sound.

As style is the center of subcultural identity and the clothes and adornments are the most visible symbol of its membership, the style of Goth symbolizes the strong subcultural identity and acts as the practical basis to demonstrate commitment to the subculture. In the turn of the third millennium, fashion designers have drawn upon and extracted elements from many subcultures to use in their collections. High fashion designers have introduced the Goth style since its inception in the 1980s. The energy and authenticity of Goth has been considered to be desirable in high fashion. The aesthetic property of Goth subcultural style defeats the established notion of standardized fashion and stimulates new consciousness, which makes room for diversification and subdivision. This study attempts to forecast the trends of the 21st century via researching the diffusion of Goth style in high fashion. In order to investigate the aesthetics and styles of Gothic chic, along with literature research, this study investigates the fashion collections from the late 1990s to 2000s as well as the images of street fashion magazines.

Recently, as the "Kidult" culture has become the culture of life, the vintage fashion doll market is rapidly emerging. This change, coupled with a tendency to cherish childhood memories among adults, shows a phenomenon that vintage dolls are gaining popularity. This study explored the possibility of creative fashion doll clothing design, aiming to satisfy consumers' more diverse and unique emotional needs and provide new perspectives and inspiration to the doll fashion industry and the fashion doll industry. Therefore, this study attempted to propose a fashion doll costume design using the Y2K fashion style that is currently popular. Based on publications and prior research considerations, the Y2K fashion style could be categorized into four main styles: 'Future Technology', 'The Matrix', 'Millennium Spice Girl', and 'Harajuku'. Based on characteristics of these four styles, this study designed and produced eight stylish doll costumes incorporating the Y2K style under themes of 'Ex Machina', 'Digital Warrior', 'Rebelious Sugar', and 'Harajuku Dopamine'. This can inspire fashion doll costume design and production based on trendy styles. This study can be a useful foundation for presenting more diverse directions for fashion doll costume design.

In the area of new millennium of twenty first century, one of the urgent and critical research issues in commerce area is the regenerating of new business opportunities from the high value added perspectives. With this motivation, in this paper, we create new on-line e-businesses with the speed of lightning their affiliated supply, finance and business communities - which are involved in more and more tightly connected, open trading - we find that we need to deal with hundreds of business collaborative partners, millions of buyers and sellers while we have to face incompatible IT systems. Challenges of new business opportunities linking multi-enterprise data and processes cost effectively, reliably and securely in real time remains an open area in e-business. This challenge we shall describe as the problem of synchronization of multiple enterprise collaborative e-business opportunities (production related), value (finance related), business (operations related) in new business opportunity and infrastructure integrated all together over the off-line and online basis. It brings a new e-commerce opportunities infrastructure into this profitable challenge: by extracting and tracking new business information, new trends in the events of e-business processes. The transformation of the traditional commerce into this type of electronic based commerce can be interpreted as new Cultural Revolution. The revolution will be a new paradigm crossing over the geographical, and organizational zone, restructuring enterprise business process infrastructure.

At the opening of a new millennium and a new century, health promotion and education services in Korea are in the early developmental stage. The National Health Promotion Act legislated in 1995 was a milestone for initiating a national and local health promotion program in Korea. And since then local governments and health centers have been developing and providing health promotion program for the community populations. The short history of health promotion and education in Korea has meant that local governments and health centers have a limited experience and organizational capacity for health promotion and education planing and practice. This study was attempted to measure health education need of rural community and to analyze the factors for health education need assessment. Surveyors interviewed 1250 subjects randomly selected. Subjects were 2.17% of men and women in Changnyung county and older then 20 years old. Data were collected from April 17, 2000 through April 27, 2000. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics, health educational experiences, health educational method, health educational content and health educational needs for rural community residents. The questions on the health educational needs of content consist of 36 questions in 8 fields. The statistical methods used for the analysis were $X^2$-test, t-test, F-ratio and ANOVA using SPSS program. In conclusion, despite more needs to the respondents who are in the low education level and socioeconomic state, in the old age, in the low health knowledge, they required less health education. To enjoy a more healthy life after more community residents actively understand and are interested in health education and health promotion, we certainly require a designed and systemic health education. The resources of health department in Korea are limited and the investment involved in health promotion and health education is severely reduced. Particularly this situation is more severe in the rural community. To select and perform an effective health education methods that the nature and reality of the rural community are considered, well use the resources to invest in health promotion affairs as effectively as possible and then they will take the responsibility of healthy community.

We present two large cosmological N-body simulations, called Horizon Run 2 (HR2) and Horizon Run 3 (HR3), made using $6000^3$ = 216 billions and $7210^3$ = 374 billion particles, spanning a volume of $(7.200\;h^{-1}Gpc)^3$ and $(10.815\;h^{-1}Gpc)^3$, respectively. These simulations improve on our previous Horizon Run 1 (HR1) up to a factor of 4.4 in volume, and range from 2600 to over 8800 times the volume of the Millennium Run. In addition, they achieve a considerably finer mass resolution, down to $1.25{\times}10^{11}h^{-1}M_{\odot}$, allowing to resolve galaxy-size halos with mean particle separations of $1.2h^{-1}$Mpc and $1.5h^{-1}$Mpc, respectively. We have measured the power spectrum, correlation function, mass function and basic halo properties with percent level accuracy, and verified that they correctly reproduce the CDM theoretical expectations, in excellent agreement with linear perturbation theory. Our unprecedentedly large-volume N-body simulations can be used for a variety of studies in cosmology and astrophysics, ranging from large-scale structure topology, baryon acoustic oscillations, dark energy and the characterization of the expansion history of the Universe, till galaxy formation science - in connection with the new SDSS-III. To this end, we made a total of 35 all-sky mock surveys along the past light cone out to z = 0.7 (8 from the HR2 and 27 from the HR3), to simulate the BOSS geometry. The International Chamber of Commerce published the millennium edition of its standard trade definitions, Incoterms 2000. Incoterms are a basic reference for sales contracts, in constant daily use throughout the world. The new version will make it easier for traders to do business in the new century, despite the growing volume and complexity of international transactions. Since Incoterms were first published in 1936, they have been updated six times. They precisely define the responsibilities of buyer and seller and are recognized as the international standard by customs authorities and courts in all the main trading nations. It is important for traders to incorporate the correct Incoterms into their international contracts to avoid unnecessary legal problems. Courts may otherwise interpret trade terms according to often widely divergent national laws and unless the use of Incoterms is specified, expensive legal disputes can arise. Division of costs is a most important element in every contract of sale. The parties must know not only who does what but also how costs resulting therefrom should be divided between them. In most cases the fact that a party must do something means that he must also bear the resulting costs, unless otherwise agreed. But there are many exceptions to this principle and uncertainties arise, particularly with respect to services performed by other parties. Also, difficulties arise with respect to the division of costs whenever additional costs are caused by unexpected events, such as hindrances causing a ship to deviate or to remain in a seaport longer than expected. The main principle of the division of costs is clear enough: the seller has to pay costs necessary for the goods to reach the agreed point of delivery, and the buyer has to pay any further costs after that point. But as noted, it is not always easy to implement this principle in practice, since the detailed distribution of functions under the various trade terms is not and cannot be fully defined in Incoterms. Instead, failing precise stipulations in the contract of sale, guidance must be sought from other criteria such as commercial practices used earlier by the same parties or the custom of trade.

Beyond the millennium industrial development affects all of our life, and the growth of the automobile among them provides us with convenience of the living. One, however, was regarded as important to recognize the safety of the parking rather today than any past, getting together with the increasing auto population into the popularization gradually. It was needed to develope an active system and safety equipment in order to protect against an accident because there were so many accidents during the parking about which one felt relief. The objectives of this study was to develop a supporting structure with high static friction, adapt to various road environments, such as an unpaved road, a wet paved road, controling an angle, considering a portable and moveable device in order to prevent an accident during parking. As it mentioned above, the novel supporting structure had four strengths rather than a previous supporting structure, a practical new design (1998 084336 B60C) The implication of the study was the inspiration from warning of the parking accident almost 10 % of the total traffic accident in Korea, tries to find a solution to a problem in order to decrease the parking accident, in addition, makes it regulation ,and it was implied to the orientation about the popularization and the practical use of the new supporting structure which was developed

The plastic furniture made of new materials has enriched and broadened our everyday life not only through development of manufacture but also through consumptions since 1960's. In relation as well to the need of reducing energy consumption and contributing to environment, the weight of plastic materials has raised concerns in recently. Our rapidly changing lifestyle demands a new design that meet recognition of inflection. In conclusion, as we are preparing to enter into the 21st Century, we should go forward with hope and do so with dispatch-dazzling all of us with boldness, thinking imaginatively, transform indifference into action, moving things to the next level in plastic industries. From this study we have found that it would be useful to understand that the development of technological plastic materials for seat furniture has enabled designers to create more and more sophisticated design in our millennium life.
