유도전동기 드라이브의 고성능 제어를 위한 새로운 퍼지제어기 (New Fuzzy Controller for High Performance of Induction Motor Drive)

  • This paper is presented new fuzzy controller for high performance of induction motor drive. New fuzzy controller took out appropriate amounts of accumulated control input according to fuzzy described situations in addition to the incremental control input calculated by conventional direct fuzzy controller. The structures of the proposed controller was motivated by the problems of direct fuzzy controller. The direct controller was given generally inevitable overshoot when one tries to reduce rise time of response. The undesirable characteristics of the direct fuzzy controller are caused by integrating operation of the controller, even though the integrator itself is introduced to overcome steady state error in provide a thorough comparative insight into the behavior of induction motor drive with direct and new fuzzy speed controller. The validity of the comparative results is confirmed by the simulation results for induction motor drive system.

  • This paper is proposed new fuzzy controller for high performance of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) drive New fuzzy controller take out appropriate amounts of accumulated control input according to fuzzy described situations in addition to the incremental control input calculated by conventional direct fuzzy controller.   • 종래 직접 퍼지제어기에서는 누적 오차의 발생과 제어입력의 누적으로 인한 과도응답의 성능을 악화시킬 수 있으며 이러한 단점의 보완은 제어입력만으로 결정하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기위해 과도상태에서 나타나는 오버슈트와 상승시간을 고려하기 위해 퍼지제어기를 이용한 재설정 변화분을 설정하며 이를 직접 퍼지제어기에 추가하여 병렬형태로 구성된 새로운 퍼지제어기를 구성한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 새로운 퍼지제어기를 IPMSM 드라이브에 적용하여 새로운 퍼지제어기가 직접 퍼지제어기와 비교하여 응답성능이 우수함을 제시하고 그 타당성을 입증한다.

  • A fuzzy dynamic learning controller is proposed and applied to control of time delayed, non-linear and unstable chemical processes. The proposed fuzzy dynamic learning controller can self-adjust its fuzzy control rules using the external dynamic information from the process during on-line control and it can create th,, new fuzzy control rules autonomously using its learning capability from past control trends. The proposed controller shows better performance than the conventional fuzzy logic controller and the fuzzy self organizing controller.

  • This paper proposes a new fuzzy controller using variable structure control theory. In this paper, after the time-varying fuzzy sliding surface is designed, the fuzzy rules are defined based on the variable structure control theory. This design method makes the fuzzy controller design more structured and can guarantee the stability and robustness of the fuzzy controller and overcome the shortcoming of the variable structure system. Through computer simulation and experiment of nonlinear inverted pendulum system, this thesis demonstrate that system has the robustness against disturbance and modelling error, and the tracking performance of it is improved.

  • In this paper, we proposed a new PID tuning algorithm by the fuzzy set theory to improve the performance of the PID controller. The new tuning algorithm for the PID controller has the initial value of parameter Kc, $\tau$I, $\tau$D by the Ziegler-Nichols formula using the ultimate gain and ultimate period from a relay tuning experiment. We get error and error change of plant output correspond to the initial value and new proportion gain(Kc) and integral time($\tau$I) from fuzzy tunner. This fuzzy tuning algorithm for PID controller considerably reduced overshoot and rise time compare to any other PID controller tuning algorithms. In real parametric uncertainty systems, the PID controller with Fuzzy auto-tuning give appreciable improvement in the performance. The significant properties of this algorithm is shown by simulation In this paper, we proposed a new PID algorithm by the fuzzy set theory to improve the performance of the PID controller.

  • In this paper, in order to improve the disadvantages of the fixed design-parameter fuzzy PID controller. a new fuzzy PID controller named a variable design-parameter fuzzy PID controller is suggested. The main characteristic of the suggested controller is to adjust design-parameters of the controller by comparing magnitudes between fuzzy controller inputs at each sampling time when controller inputs are measured. As a result. all fuzzy input partitioned spaces converge within a time-varying normalization scale. and the resultant PID control action can always be applied precisely regardless of operating input magnitudes. In order to verify the effectiveness of the suggested controller. several a computer simulations for a nonlinear system are executed and the control parameters of the variable design-parameter fuzzy PID controller are throughly analyzed.

  • This paper deals with a new adaptive fuzzy sliding mode controller and its application to an inverted pendulum. We propose new method of adaptive fuzzy sliding mode control scheme that the fuzzy logic system is used to approximate the unknown system functions in designing the SMC of uncertain nonlinear systems. The controller's construction and its analysis involve sliding modes. The proposed controller consists of two components. Sliding mode component is employed to eliminate the effects of disturbances, while a fuzzy model component equipped with an adaptation mechanism reduces modeling uncertainties by approximating model uncertainties. To demonstrate its performance, the proposed control algorithm is applied to an inverted pendulum. The results show that both alleviation of chattering and performance are achieved

  • A New fuzzy adaptive controller which is able to solve the problems of classical adaptive controllers and conventional fuzzy adaptive controllers is suggested in this paper. The architecture of a fuzzy adaptive controller using the robust property of a fuzzy controller is explained. A design procedure which can be carried out mathematically and systematically from the model of an objective system is suggested, and related mathematical theorems and their proofs are also given. The performance of the proposed adaptive control algorithm is analyzed through a design example and a DC motor control simulation.
