The present scientific scenario shows that, the long-distance dispersal of any species plays a major role in population as well as the flow of individual between populations. However, newly recorded plant at Dokdo was confirmed by using morphological and molecular markers of nrDNA and cpDNA. This scientific study has identified the plant species was as a Euonymus hamiltonianus Wall. (Celastraceae). And after careful studies, the laboratory results shows that the distribution of tree species at Dokdo as an Oceanic Island is a meaningful thing because of the inflow of plant in adverse condition of environment such as a shallow soil layers and steep terrain. So it is necessary to continuous monitor for the inflow of non-indigenous plant into Dokdo.
The development of information technology such as the internet has brought about rapidly changes the old medical technology, e-Healthcare has been to raise social issue. The e-Healthcare which new turning point of paradigm in the medical information develops the medical policy in Korea and the technology, the prospective of reverse engineering in internet environment is incurring problems such as distribution of critical information and invasion and infringement of privacy, etc. In this research, we suggest the Role Based Access Control System, HPIP-e-Healthcare Privacy Information Protection, for solving above problem. The HPIP is composed 4 mechanisms such as Consolidate User Identity, Hospital Authorization, Medical Record Access Control, Patient Diagnosis and we are also prototyping the HPIP for feasible approach in the real computing environment.

The genus Ochrolechia is a widespread, lichen genus in Korea. Despite being common, little is known about the species diversity and geographical distribution of Ochrolechia. In this study, we detailed the identification procedure of the genus Ochrolechia in a Korean collection and provided the description of each species. Using 104 specimens collected from 2003 to 2017, we identified four species of the genus Ochrolechia via morphological and/or molecular phylogenetic analysis: O. parellula, O. trochophora, O. yasudae and O. akagiensis. Among them, O. akagiensis had not been previously reported in Korea. Moreover, the species identified as O. frigida and O. tartarea in past studies were corrected as O. yasudae and O. parellula, respectively, based on morphological and/or molecular evidence. Phylogenetic analysis using the internal transcribed spacer regions including 5.8S rRNA gene showed that the four species separated clearly, indicating that the morphological identification corresponds to the phylogenetic identification. We provide a taxonomic key for the four species of the genus Ochrolechia.
Seismic responses of RC core wall with two outriggers are investigated in this study. In the models analyzed here, one of the outriggers is fixed at the top of the building and the second is placed at different levels along the height of the system. Each of the systems resulting from the placement of the outrigger at different locations is designed according to the prescriptive codes. The location of the outrigger changes along the height. Linear design of all the structures is accomplished by using prescriptive codes. Buckling restrained braces (BRBs) are used in the outriggers and forward directivity near fault and far fault earthquake record sets are used at maximum considered earthquake (MCE) level. Results from nonlinear time history analysis demonstrate that BRB outriggers can change the seismic responses like force distribution and deformation demand of the RC core-walls over the height and lead to the new plastic hinge arrangement over the core-wall height. Plasticity extension in the RC core wall occurs at the base as well as adjacent to the outrigger levels. Considering the maximum inter-story drift ratio (IDR) demand as an engineering parameter, the best location for the second outrigger is at 0.75H, in which the maximum IDR at the region upper the second outrigger level is approximately equal to the corresponding value in the lower region.
The genus Bitomus Szepligeti, 1910 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Opiinae) is known to parasitize in mining flies (Diptera: Agromyzidae), of which four species are recorded in Korea. Bitomus was revised by Fischer (1987, 1994) and recently treated by Papp (1978, 1981) in Korea. Bitomus is distinguished from other genera by the immovably joined second-third or fourth metasomal tergites, forming a carapace. In this study, Bitomus indicus is recognized for the first time in Korea. This study provides a diagnosis, description, distribution, and diagnostic illustrations.
The distribution of spiders on paddy Holds in the suburbs of Kwangju city and the seasonal fluetuation of their population were surveyed for two years from November 1975 to November 1977. The results obtained are summarized as fallows: 1. The total number of species of the spiders on paddy fields collected in Kwangju area was 38 which belong to 24 genera and 13 families. Out of these 16 species were already known to exist in this area, and two other species were those known to occur in Korea. The remaining 22 species were new collections among which Cornicularia vulgaris 01 was the one with no record of collection in Korea. 2. The spiders on paddy fields collected in this area were mostly those belonging to two families i.e. Erigonidae and Lycosidae, and predominating species were Gnathenarium dantatum(WJDER) and Oedothorax insecticeps BOES. et STR. 3. The population density was highest in November just before wintering and lowest in March and April after wintering and an intermediate peak in July and August.
Prunella vulgaris var. lilacina Nakai, P. vulgaris var. aleutica Fernald, and P. vulgaris var. albiflora Nakai have been reported as infrageneric taxa of Prunella L. in Korea. I found many samples of P. pinnatifida Pers. in the previously collected herbarium sheets in several major herbaria in Korea and confirmed its distribution again in Jaeun Island, Chonnam Province with the information from those herbarium sheets. P. pinnatifida Pers. has deeply lobed leaves in contrast to entire or barely dentate leaves of P. vulgaris var. lilacina Nakai, P. vulgaris var. aleutica Fernald, and P. vulgaris var. albiflora Nakai. I first report the distribution of this taxon in Korea and give it the Korean name Gal-re-kkul-pul. I provide description, illustrations, and an infrageneric key to identification of the other taxa of Prunella in Korea, and discuss some taxonomic problems of this taxon.

Decision problem called an optimal release policies, after testing a software system in development phase and transfer it to the user, is studied. The applied model of release time exploited infinite non-homogeneous Poisson process. This infinite non-homogeneous Poisson process is a model which reflects the possibility of introducing new faults when correcting or modifying the software. The failure life-cycle distribution used exponential and non-exponential family which has various intensity. Thus, software release policies which minimize a total average software cost of development and maintenance under the constraint of satisfying a software reliability requirement becomes an optimal release policies. In a numerical example, after trend test applied and estimated the parameters using maximum likelihood estimation of inter-failure time data, estimated software optimal release time.

Stellaria pallida (Dumort.) Crép., S. ruderalis M. Lepší, P. Lepší, Z. Kaplan & P. Koutecký, and Cerastium pumilum Curtis are unrecorded alien species of Caryophyllaceae found in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do in the Republic of Korea. Stellaria pallida is readily distinguished from other taxa in the same genus by its petals, as it's considerably smaller than the sepals or absent. In contrast, S. ruderalis is difficult to identify as it has intermediate traits between S. media L. and S. neglecta (Lej.) Weihe. However, S. ruderlais clearly identified by seed morphology, and S. ruderalis, unlike S. media and S. neglecta, has conical shape of outer periclinal wall and papillate on the basely surface of that. Cerastium pumilum is similar to C. glomeratum Thuill. and belongs to the same subgenus (Sub gen. Fugacia); however, it has some distinct characteristics, including stamens that are primarily 8 (5-10), upper bracts with membranous edges, and the length of the pedicels and petals being longer than that of the sepals. The three of alien plants was recorded for the first time in this study, and information of their habitat, distribution map, description and photographs are presented.
Elaeagnus pungens Thunb., belongs to the family Elaeagnaceae, was recently recorded for the first time in Mt. Miruk, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. The native distribution range of this species includes China and Japan in East Asia, while it is considered as an invasive species in North America. Elaeagnus pungens is related to E. glabra, but the species can be distinguished from its congeners by having revolute and repand leaf blades, silvery white and brown scales on the abaxial surface of the leaf, and a campanulate calyx. We propose the new Korean name 'Tong-yeong-bol-re-na-mu,' based on its first collecting site. A detailed description of vegetative and floral characteristics, trichome scanning electron micrographs, dichotomous keys, and the habitat of this species are also provided.
