The aim of this study is to examine the expression of the meaning of tradition and the archetype of korean image in it in order to find out korean image on reflection of the meaning of tradition. The results are as follows. 1) The nature of tradition illuminates the past, and lights up the present. It cannot be a portrait which enable to have a future prospect and also a cornerstone a tutore pave the way for of the better direction. 2) It's meaning like to say that korean style it self is considered as an expression of tradition. But it korean tradition has a tradition course in a dialectical way, new creation will be possible, 3) The social and cultural aspects change as time goes by through the tendency of society and it's culture we can get some imformation about the inner spirit of human being. The inner spirit of human being is the spirit of our nation so that we can get oringinality from the culture of our nation. 4) On the aspect of idea oganic system must be visualized on the basis of scale whichs accustomed to our emotion. 5) We can also find out the growing tendency that architects are willing to express the typological image as spacial arrangement and ideology of the Korean image to their works recently. It can be defined that it is a progressive tendency for the expression of Korean image in contemporary architecture. This study is needed to have move practical and concrete examination in order to approach more ideologically the expression of the sense of tradition.

This paper is studios about a new role model of 'Korea Comics Museum' which will be extended Into 'Korea Institute for the MANWHA & Moving Image Content's planning. Scanning all activities of 'Korea Comics Musium' until now, I'd like to suggest how to promote the comic industry by a Comic Museum's practical contribution. It needs conditions for doing its intrinsic activities, faithfully, most, than a value of Bucheon's city brand or superiority in industrial aspects. And also it is Important that establishing collection policy for spreading excellence of Korean comics, internationally and setting structure for mating network among the museums in abroad and institutions related comic industry. Finally comic museum has to equip a new working structure, furthermore, perform exhibition planning and cultivating system of artists and for this, it needs its own independent organization.

I intend to grope for the desirable outdoor color environment creation plan through researching situation of our apartment houses color environment and grasping the point at issue. The rearch was made that Ilsan(16 items) new city apartment were selected and the color seperately measured such as the dominant, the aid, the accent colors through applied color component ratio was researched by calculating square measure of matched colors and through that the evaluation of apartment complex color environment was formed. The planned construction problems were issued from comparing the planned scheme and the present carrying color status guide by investigating the color plan applied Ilsan new city. The current out apartment outdoor color environment is poor, and the color plan of the early stage has many insufficient parts and many operation errors. For the creation of desirable color environment, the color plan establishment by regional characteristics, the color environment management, though exhaustive color consultation, and the external construction technique improvement, the standard color sheet diffusion, the color understanding of architects, the public relations (P.R), the education on the importance of color are required.

We developed ultra-accelerated quantum chemical molecular dynamics and spectroscopic characterization simulators for development of PDP materials. By combination of these simulators, realistic structure of PDP materials is drawn on the computer. Furthermore, based on the structures, various properties such as cathode luminescence spectrum and secondary electron emission, is successfully evaluated. The strategy of "Experiment integrated Computational Chemistry" using developed simulators will presented that has the potential in being powerful tool for designing the PDP materials.

In the past, the scenario of VTS simulator was made by instructor's manual operation using waypoint definition of target ship. but in this study, we use automatic scenario creation technology with AIS data and Port-MIS data. The created VTS simaulator scenario also can be modified, added, and saved by instructor's manual operation. VTS simulator display target ship on the Electronic Navigation Chart based on S-57 format. A instructor can easily open this scenario and start, pause, stop operation wirth VTS simulator. A new modification also can be applied immediately to current scenario and can be saved new scenario file. VTS simulator using this technology can create many scenarios for a specific purpose and can be easily used for various application fields.

Entrepreneurial financing, such as publicly initiated venture capital or grant schemes, serves as an important policy instrument that aims to bridge the financing gap facing young, innovative businesses, a gap that is mainly due to higher risk and growing uncertainty, and to strategically promote the creation of new ventures through the revitalization of their venture capital industries. This study examines public venture capital initiatives in Australia, Canada, and Sweden, and discovered that all three countries actively foster their venture capital industry through the formation of funds or the provision of tax incentives. It is notable that the majority of financing initiatives heavily depend on supply-side measures rather than demand-driven policies that focus on stimulating private investment in technological innovations and discoveries. This paper discusses in-depth the policy impact of public financing initiatives and their subsequent side-effects raised in the process such as overlapping in funding structure across the country, lack of monitoring and evaluation for feedback, fragmentation across the government ministries and agencies, and competition with the private sector, which may cause inefficiency as a result of public intervention. Financial constraints may arise for many reasons, partly resulting from the lack of investment readiness of young entrepreneurs. This signals a policy shift towards the creation of market-driven demand away from the traditional supply-push approach, and is a grand challenge to policymakers in entrepreneurial financing. Attention is leaning towards the efficiency and effectiveness of these public-financing initiatives in terms of their policy roles. It is worth noting that policy should focus on generating synergy so available resources can be channeled into the early, risky stage of new ventures, working as facilitator to the achievement of an intended policy goal.

IoT(Internet of Things) has become a major issue as new type of convergence technology, expending existing of USNs(Ubiquitous Sensor Networks), NFC(Near Field Communication), and M2M(Machine to Machine). The IoT technology defines as a networking for things, which can establish intelligent links collaboratively for sensing networking and processing between each other without human intervention. The purpose of this study is to investigate to forecast the future distribution changes and orientation of contribution of distribution industry on IoT and to provide the implication of distribution changes. To become a global market leader, IoT requires much more development of core technology of IoT for distribution industry, new service creation and try to use a market-based demand side strategy to create markets. So, to become a global leader in distribution industry, this study results show that first of all establishment of standardization of IoT, privacy safeguards, security issues, stability and value were more important than others. The research findings suggest that the development goals of IoT should strive to boost the creation of a global leader in distribution industry and convenience to consider consumers' demands as the most important thing.

The purpose of this study is to apply the Trencadis images in Antony Gaudi's work to a design motive and thus provide a new concept for a knitwear design by combining double-knitted fabrics with patchwork applique, taping, stitching and quilting. This study examines the bibliographic text and precedent research related to Antony Gaudi and his works, and analyzes the historical background and formative and stylistic characteristics of Trencadis as it appeared in Gaudi's architectural works. Also this study also examines the characteristics of knitwear and knitting theory while exploring the formative elements and the combined techniques used in modern knitwear design through fashion magazines, medium images, and online sources. The results are as follows: First, Gaudi's work that applies a Trencadis technique has the characteristic of being creative, organic, and environmentally friendly. And in addition, its colorfulness inspires modern fashion design. Second, computerized knitting has been practiced in various ways and the fabrics knitted by both double-knitting jacquard and computerized knitting machines provide a new direction the creation of knitwear. A computerized knitting machine is especially effective for pictorial expression, and is suitable for showing the natural curve of the human body due to its sophistication. Third, as a result of applying a combined technique to the knitting of various fabrics, a combined or fusion design, which is a recent megatrend, is very effective for the design of knitwear while increasing its aesthetic value. Moreover, utilizing techniques that combine patchwork applique, taping, stitching and quilting will create higher value in knitwear. Lastly, with a project of applying combined techniques in the creation of knitwear, designers can become much more creative while taking their imagination much further.

Comparison and Convergence of the Blank Space in Chinese and Japanese Graphic Design This study discusses the philosophical foundation in Chinese and Japanese aesthetics. Most of the contemporary graphic designs in China lack influence or individual philosophy on aesthetics. In analyzing and comparing the use of blank-leaving in graphic design works showed that the traditional artistic sense of the blanks can enrich the cultural connotations of design and raise the artistic creation of the works. This paper used "convergence" to create a new approach on Chinese contemporary graphic design, especially on poster design. The application of blank-leaving in the graphic design has positive impact in the creation of excellent graphic design works that provide references and inspiration to develop a new blank on my own design.

Purpose: Hexadactyly without thumb is a rare congenital anomaly of the hand where six triphalangeal digits are symmetrically distributed without thumb. Contrary to mirror hands, triphalangeal six digits are symmetrically distributed on each side at the midline with well - differentiated carpal bones, extensor tendons, one ulnar and one radius. The authors developed a new surgical technique based on a three - dimensional concept to correct the hexadactyly and applied to 2 cases of hexadactyly with good functional and aesthetic results. Here we document the surgical technique and its result. Methods: A 16 month old male patient visited our clinic with chief complaints of bilateral hexadactyly deformity. On physical examination most radial first and second digits showed no opposition and adduction motion on both side hands. Radiography showed 6 triphalangeal digits with normal development of carpal, radial and ulnar bone. Right side abnormality was corrected by removal of most radial side extra - digit, rotation and migration of 2nd ray to thumb position and creation of 1st web by transposing a mid - palm based rectangular palmar flap as in Snow & Littler procedure which has been being applied for correction of 1st web syndactyly in cleft hand deformity. Seven months later, left side abnormality was also corrected with the same procedure. Results: Postoperative appearances of the both hands were satisfactory. Flexion, extension, opposition and grasping were possible with the pollicized 2nd ray. Pinching power was 3.0 kg 15 months after surgery and 2.5 kg 22 months after in right hand respectively. Conclusion: In correction of hexadactyly deformity, satisfactory aesthetic and relevant functional results can be expected with authors' newly developed technique: removal of most radial digit, rotation and migration of 2nd digit to thumb position as well as creation of the 1st web space by transposition of mid - palm based rectangular flap.
