해군분석모델용 AI-CGF를 위한 시나리오 생성 모델 설계(I): 진화학습 (Design of Scenario Creation Model for AI-CGF based on Naval Operations, Resources Analysis Model(I): Evolutionary Learning)

  • Military training is an essential item for the fundamental problem of war. However, there has always been a problem that many resources are consumed, causing spatial and environmental pollution. The concepts of defense modeling and simulation and CGF(Computer Generated Force) using computer technology began to appear to improve this problem. The Naval Operations, Resources Analysis Model(NORAM) developed by the Republic of Korea Navy is also a DEVS(Discrete Event Simulation)-based naval virtual force analysis model. The current NORAM is a battle experiment conducted by an operator, and parameter values such as maneuver and armament operation for individual objects for each situation are evaluated. In spite of our research conducted evolutionary, supervised, reinforcement learning, in this paper, we introduce our design of a scenario creation model based on evolutionary learning using genetic algorithms. For verification, the NORAM is loaded with our model to analyze wartime engagements. Human-level tactical scenario creation capability is secured by automatically generating enemy tactical scenarios for human-designed Blue Army tactical scenarios.

  • 본 연구는 차세대 포탈(EP) 기능의 평가 프레임워크를 지식창출의 관점에서 제시하는데 목표를 두고 있다. 스마트 엔터프라이즈 통합포탈 (SES)과 같은 차세대 상품이 기존의 EP 기능에 협업과 컨텐츠 관리를 통합시킴으로써, EP는 더 이상 정보와 컨텐츠의 단순 통로가 아니게 되었다. EP는 상호 보완적인 정보기술의 통합체로서 거듭나고 있다. 이러한 통합현상의 일반화와 더불어 지식창출의 중요성을 감안한다면 EP기능을 지식창출의 관점에서 평가할 수 있는 기반을 마련하는 것은 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 문헌조사를 통하여 EP 기능의 기본적 요소를 설정하였다. 이를 기반으로 델파이 조사법을 이용하여 각각의 요소를 실증적으로 검증함과 동시에 지식창출 모델에 근거하여 분류하였다. 델파이 조사법에 사용된 전문가 그룹은 엔트루 컨설팅 파트너스에 근무하고 있는 7명의 지식경영 전문 컨설턴트로 구성되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 이론적 모델을 실무와 통합시킴으로써 EP의 평가에 있어서 새로운 비전을 제시하였다고 할 수 있다.

한글의 디자인 철학과 원리 (Design philosophy and Principle of Hangeul)

  • 한글은 이미 세계적인 문자로 인정받고 있으나, 정작 그 자랑을 실체적으로 보여줄 글자꼴에서는 체계성이 부족하고, 주체성 없는 변화의 연속이 오히려 시각문화 발전과 국가 정보화의 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 원인의 핵심이 한글의 창제 정신과 원리를 제대로 이어받지 못하고 있기 때문으로 보고, 이와 같은 전제를 구체적으로 입증하기 위하여 한글을 디자인의 시각으로 바라보고, 그 우수성을 체계적으로 밝히어, 오늘의 문제를 해결하기 위한 근거와 객관성을 제시하고 있다. 연구결과, 한글의 창제철학과 원리는 오늘의 시각으로 보아도 당대의 사회적, 문화적 배경에 적절한 디자인 철학을 품고 있으며, 합리적인 디자인 과정을 거쳤음을 확인하였다. 따라서, 오늘의 한글꼴의 문제는 전제한 바와 같이 창제 정신과 원리를 바탕에 두고 풀어야만 해결의 실마리를 찾을 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 더 나아가, 한글의 창제는 민족과 국가를 초월한 원활한 의사소통의 한 수단으로 만들어낸, 합리적이고 과학적인 글자 디자인 원리의 창제로도 해석할 수 있다. 그러므로, 한글 창제 과정에서 보여진 디자인 방법과 원리의 탐구는 시각 커뮤니케이션 디자인의 방법론을 새롭게 다지는 기초 자료가 될 뿐만 아니라, 한국 디자인 철학의 뿌리를 찾는 핵심적인 연구 과제라 할 수 있다.

가치 창조 및 전유 요소가 기업의 성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Value Creation and Appropriation Elements on Performance)

  • Companies must capture value for sustainable growth. Capturing value is a critical task for companies, particularly when operating own businesses and organizations or starting new business. The business strategy of many companies focuses on capturing the maximum value from customers and other stakeholders. Even though a wide range of studies on value creation and appropriation has been conducted in the strategic management field, most of studies are still conceptual and theoretical. Thus more empirical studies are required to suggest future-oriented value strategy. This study reveals the value creation and appropriation elements in the aviation industry of Korea. The purpose of this study is to understand the trend of value creation and appropriation in the industry. In addition, the relationship between the elements and firm's performance are tested. The firm's performance is defined by that past and future point of views. The sample were collected from Korean Air and Asiana Air. The empirical test shows that the elements of value creation-appropriation have significant impact on firm's performance. Further, the element of value appropriation to customer has a positive impact both on firm's past and future performance. Our results show that investors acknowledge a value-based strategy as a sign of stock valuation. The results of this test correspond with the earlier one, showing that maximizing customers value rather than shareholder value does deliver impressive returns. The finding suggest that companies need to change their strategy to efficiently manage performance. With the test results, we propose a value-based strategy to maximize firm's future financial and stock performance.

연속적 이항 로지스틱 회귀모형을 이용한 R&D 투입 및 성과 관계에 대한 실증분석 (Empirical Analysis on the Relationship between R&D Inputs and Performance Using Successive Binary Logistic Regression Models)

  • The present study analyzes the relationship between research and development (R&D) inputs and performance of a national technology innovation R&D program using successive binary Logistic regression models based on a typical R&D logic model. In particular, this study focuses on to answer the following three main questions; (1) "To what extent, do the R&D inputs have an effect on the performance creation?"; (2) "Is an obvious relationship verified between the immediate predecessor and its successor performance?"; and (3) "Is there a difference in the performance creation between R&D government subsidy recipient types and between R&D collaboration types?" Methodologically, binary Logistic regression models are established successively considering the "Success-Failure" binary data characteristic regarding the performance creation. An empirical analysis is presented analyzing the sample n = 2,178 R&D projects completed. This study's major findings are as follows. First, the R&D inputs have a statistically significant relationship only with the short-term, technical output, "Patent Registration." Second, strong dependencies are identified between the immediate predecessor and its successor performance. Third, the success probability of the performance creation is statistically significantly different between the R&D types aforementioned. Specifically, compared with "Large Company", "Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise (SMS)" shows a greater success probability of "Sales" and "New Employment." Meanwhile, "R&D Collaboration" achieves a larger success probability of "Patent Registration" and "Sales."

다중이동물체 추적을 위한 모델생성 알고리즘 (Model Creation Algorithm for Multiple Moving Objects Tracking)

  • 본 논문은 모델기반 다중이동물체 추적을 위한 모델생성 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 배경영상에 이동물체가 초기 진입했을 때의 초기모델생성 단계와 이동물체 추적 단계에서의 모델 갱신 단계로 구분하였다. 초기모델생성 단계에서는 차영상과 클러스터링 기법을 이용하여 분할된 분할영상과 현재프레임 영상에 대한 윤곽선 영상과의 로직 AND 연산을 수행하여 초기모델을 생성하였다. 모델갱신 단계에서는 하우스돌프 거리(Hausdorff Distance)와 2D-Logarithmic 탐색 알고리즘을 이용하여 추적중인 이동물체의 형태변화에 적응할 수 있도록 매 프레임 마다 새로운 모델을 갱신하였다. 실험은 도로에서 주행하는 자동차를 대상으로 도_의 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 도로에서 주행하는 자동차의 진입방향과 추적 대상 수가 불규칙한 경우에도 모델생성이 98% 이상 이루어짐을 알 수 있었다.

  • In recent Japan, the demand for woodland creation on revegetation sites is increasing. In the forests and woodlands, we can find many functions of environmental conservation, in addition of biomaterial production, and all of these existences with such functions are defined as environmental woodlands. Many woodlands has been created from old times for the purpose of forest conservation and flood control, and most of these technology are handed down to present time. After Edo era (from the beginning of Meiji era, 1867), some valuable examples of woodlands were created, like Meiji shrine woodland in Tokyo. After the World War II, a lot of technology for woodland revegetation, such as ecological tree planting, have been developed. At present, many revegetation sites are aiming at woodland creation, like on man-made slope, etc.. In the great change of social structure, revegetation technology is also required to keep in close relationships to the restoration of devastated existing forests and woodlands, and to provide many technology for the restoration of secondary woodland, preservation of soil, mitigation, reclamation, etc.. Now in Japan, the improvement of environment including all the member of biosphere is demanded on a large scale. Therefore, revegetation technology should also try to make an activity taking a broad view of the restoration of natural vegetation in addition to the traditional and new woodland creation.

프롭테크 비즈니스 가치창출 프레임워크 (Towards a Value-Creation Framework for Proptech Business)

  • 최근 정보기술의 발달과 함께 부동산 시장에도 급속한 변화가 일어나고 있다. 프롭테크는 인공지능, 센싱기술, 빅데이터 등 다양한 정보기술의 적용으로 촉진되는 부동산 거래혁신으로 정의된다. 본 연구의 목적은 프롭테크 비즈니스에서 어떤 가치가 창출되고 공유되는지에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 조직의 전략 및 비즈니스개발에 도움을 주는 프롭테크 비즈니스 가치창출 프레임워크를 제시하는 것이다. 연구의 결과에서는 인지된 가치 활동을 바탕으로 프롭테크 비즈니스 분류 매트릭스를 구분하고 이 매트릭스를 중심으로 프롭테크 비즈니스의 주요 가치를 무형화, 관계화, 고도화가치로 도출하고, 프롭테크 비즈니스 유형별로 이들 가치가 구현되는 사례를 제시하였다.

The role of the living lab in smart city projects: A comparative case study of two Northeast Asian cities

  • Extant literature has emphasized the role of citizen participation in creating a successful smart city. However, previous works are lacking in a systematic analysis of the specific mechanisms by which citizen participation makes a positive impact on smart city projects. We attempt to bridge the gap by focusing on the role of the living lab, a citizen-driven mechanism that has used innovative ideas, new technologies, and cooperation with various participants to address local problems. As co-creation is the common ground for smart cities and living labs in terms of citizen participation, we provide a theoretical framework in which the notion of co-creation mediates smart cities and living labs. To examine the living lab's effect of co-creation on smart cities, we conduct a comparative case study of two Northeast Asian cities: Taipei and Busan. We explore (1) the factors behind the different outcomes in these two cities, despite many similarities that might affect smart cities' effectiveness, and (2) the relationship between smart cities and living labs and how to systematically understand the interaction between the two. We find that living labs have played a key role in making Taipei's smart city projects effective and successful, which allows the city to keep showing a high level of performance. In contrast, citizens could not find channels to participate in such projects in Busan. We conclude that the living lab explains why the smart cities in Busan have been less successful than in Taipei.

Direction for Designing a 3D Animation Curriculum Utilizing AI Technology

  • In the field of animation, as technology advances, production technology, production methods, and production culture are also steadily developing. The demand for content is increasing rapidly around the OTT platform, and the demand for animation content and diversity is increasing. With these market changes, animation creation ability is becoming a more important animation education goal. There is also a need to innovate educational methods to provide students with the skills and knowledge required in the modern animation business. This paper investigated the composition of the educational curriculum of domestic and foreign animation universities education. It examines artificial intelligence (AI) technology that can be used in animation creation and explores the design and direction of the university animation curriculum using it. AI technology has already proven its potential in various areas, and it is integrated into the animation curriculum to present various development potentials. Using AI technology, students can focus on practical and essential animation education by preventing technical difficulties in animation creation, increase their experience in animation production, and experiment with planning and producing various contents. It is proposed to design an educational curriculum that further strengthens animation creation and production capabilities by forming smart animation classes to foster talents who can lead the future animation industry in a new direction.
