임상실습에서 간호대학생이 경험하는 자기효능감, 사회적지지가 소진에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Self-Efficacy and Social Support of Nursing Students During Clinical Practice on Burnout)

  • 본 연구는 임상실습에서 간호대학생이 경험하는 자기효능감, 사회적지지, 소진의 정도를 파악하고, 소진에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하여 소진을 예방하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 연구방법은 서술적 조사연구로서 Y지역 간호대학생 3, 4학년 173명을 대상으로 2019년 10월 15일부터 11월 4일까지 자료수집하였다. 자료분석 방법은 빈도와 백분율, t-test, ANOVA, 사후검증은 Scheffé 검정, Pearson's correlation coefficients, 다중회귀분석을 사용하였다. 간호대학생의 일반적 특성에 따른 자기효능감, 사회적지지, 소진의 차이는 학년(t= -2.20, p=.029), 전공만족도(F=3.62, p=.029)에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 간호대학생의 자기효능감, 사회적지지, 소진 간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 자기효능감과 사회적지지((r=.214, p=.005)는 양의 상관관계, 소진과 자기효능감(r=-.253, p<.001)은 음의 상관관계, 소진과 사회적지지(r=-.175, p=.021)도 음의 상관관계가 있었다. 소진에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 전공만족도(β= -.21, p=.006), 자기효능감(β= -.16, p=.032), 사회적지지(β= -.15, p=.047) 순으로 모형의 설명력은 13.8%이었다. 결론적으로 임상실습에서 간호대학생이 경험하는 소진을 예방하기 위해서 대학생활 만족과 임상실습 만족을 향상시키고, 사회적 지지와 자기효능감을 높이는 중재 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

Factors influencing stigma among college students with COVID-19 in South Korea: a descriptive study

  • Purpose: This study is descriptive research aiming to identify factors influencing the stigma experienced by college students with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), focusing on COVID-19 pandemic stress, depression, and fear of negative evaluation as the main variables. Methods: An online survey was administered to 175 college students who had been diagnosed with COVID-19 from January to May 2022 and were enrolled in universities in Seoul, Cheongju, and Daegu, South Korea. The survey collected data on pandemic stress, depression, fear of negative evaluation, and stigma. The data were analyzed using the t-test, ANOVA, the Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression in SPSS/WIN 26.0. Results: We analyzed differences in stigma scores based on general characteristics of the college students and found significant differences in stigma scores by age, major satisfaction, interpersonal satisfaction, date of COVID-19 confirmation, treatment modality, and recent subjective health condition. Factors influencing stigmatization were identified as COVID-19 pandemic stress, depression, date of COVID-19 confirmation, treatment modality, recent subjective health condition, and major satisfaction, with an overall explanatory power of 37.6%. Conclusion: This study is significant as it identifies emotional changes across various aspects of pandemic stress, depression, fear of negative evaluation, and stigma among college students who have been diagnosed with COVID-19. The findings of this study suggest the development of programs to reduce psychological distress and enhance mental health management skills among these students.

고령자의 사회적 건강이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Social Health of the Aged on their Quality of Life)

  • 다가올 고령사회 고령자의 사회문제를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 사회적 건강의 필요성을 주장하고, 고령자의 사회적 건강이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 함이 주된 연구의 목적이다. 이를 위해 경기도 의왕시에 거주하고 있는 65세 이상 고령자 중 사회활동에 참가하는 고령자를 대상으로 하였으며, 총 157부가 최종분석에 사용되었다. IBM SPSS 21.0 을 이용하여 빈도분석, t-Test와 one-way ANOVA, Duncan 사후검정상관관계분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 주된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 사회인구학적 요인과 사회적 건강의 상관관계에 있어서는 경제적수준, 주관적 건강과 사회적 건강은 양(+)적인 상관관계를 나타냈으며, 요양등급은, 경제적수준, 주관적 건강은 사회적 건강과는 음(-)적인 상관관계를 나타냈다. 사회적 건강이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 있어서는 사회인구학적 특성 변인만을 투입한 모델1의 경우 분산설명력은 38.2%로 나타났고, 회귀모형은 유의미하였다(F=13.141, p<.001). 사회인구학적 특성과 사회적 건강 변인을 투입한 모델2의 경우 분산설명력은 13.8%로 나타났으며, 회귀모형은 유의미하였다(F=20.057, p<.001). 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 몇 가지 제언을 제시하였다.

노인복지관을 이용하는 노인의 사회참여 태도, 사회적 지지, 역량이 노인차별경험에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Social Participation Attitude, Social Support, and Empowerment on Ageism Experience in the Elderly Using Welfare Centers)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the factors affecting the discrimination of the elderly using welfare centers. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 217 elderly people from a welfare center in D city. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire survey consisting of ageism experience, social participation attitude, social support, and empowerment. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were performed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: As a result of analyzing the correlations among the variables, the discrimination experience of the elderly showed negative correlations in social participation attitude and child relationship support. The factors affecting the discrimination experience of the elderly include gender, job, smartphone use, and child relationship support had a significant effect. The explanatory power of the discrimination experience of these factors was 15.4%. Conclusion: This study found that gender, job, social support, and smartphone use were factors influencing the discrimination experience of the elderly. It is hoped that public relations and policy measures should be considered.

종합병원 간호단위의 간호사 관계 네트워크 연구 (Relationship networks among nurses in acute nursing care units)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the characteristics of social networks among registered nurses in acute nursing care units. Methods: This study used a survey design. Four nursing units from two acute hospitals were selected using a convenience method, and 83 nurses from those nursing units participated in the study in July 2022. The positive influences among nurses included friendship, collaboration, advice, and referent networks, and the negative influences included avoidance and bullying networks. Using the NetMiner program, the k-means clustering technique was applied to create groups of nodes with similar characteristics. The general characteristics of the participants were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, frequency, and ANOVA or chi-squared test. Results: As a result of dividing the 83 nurse participants into four clusters, positive influencers, silent peers, unwelcome peers, and active bullies were identified. Positive influence group nurses were frequently mentioned in the friendship, collaboration, advice, and referent networks. On the other hand, nurses in the unwelcome group and the active bullying group were frequently mentioned in the avoidance and bullying networks. Conclusion: Social networks that have a positive or negative impact on nursing performance are created through different relationships between nurses. Nurse managers can use the findings to create a more supportive and collaborative environment. Further research is needed to develop intervention programs to improve interactions and relationships between fellow nurses.

  • 인구 고령화와 더불어 최근 10년간 치매, 경도인지장애(MCI, Mild Cognitive Disorder) 수진자 수가 19배 수준으로 급증하면서 심각한 사회·경제적 문제로 대두되고 있다. MCI는 조기 진단 및 중재를 통해 치매 예방 가능성이 가장 큰 단계이지만, 국내 치매안심센터의 물리적 수용 한계 및 팬데믹으로 인한 대면 프로그램의 중단으로 MCI 및 치매 환자의 대응이 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 향후 급증하는 노인인구와 치매 환자를 위한 인지훈련 콘텐츠의 특성을 알아보고, 고령자의 인지, 신체, 사회기능을 효과적으로 훈련할 수 있는 XR(Extended Reality) 기반의 콘텐츠 개발 고려사항을 도출하고 이를 위한 디자인 요소를 제안한다.

학업병행 간호사의 직무스트레스, 사회적 지지와 간호전문직관의 관계 (Associations between job stress, social support, and nursing professionalism among nurses in postgraduate courses)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the associations between job stress, social support, and nursing professionalism among nurses taking postgraduate courses, and to explore the factors influencing their nursing professionalism. Methods: The participants were 121 nurses who were enrolled in graduate school master's or doctoral programs in Korea. Data were collected from June 30 to August 31, 2021, using an internet-based self-report questionnaire. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using the IBM SPSS 23.0 program. Results: The mean scores of job stress, social support, and nursing professionalism among the participants were 2.47 out of 4, 4.06 out of 5, and 3.47 out of 5, respectively. There were statistically significant differences in nursing professionalism among the participants according to the degree program (F=-2.76, p=.007) and the length of nursing career (F=4.35, p=.015). Their nursing professionalism showed a positive correlation with social support (r=.45, p<.001) and a negative correlation with job stress (r=-.43, p<.001). As a result of the multiple regression analysis, factors influencing nursing professionalism of the participants were found to be job stress (β=-.28, p=.003), social support (β=.23, p=.015), and the length of nursing career (β=.19, p=.018). The explanatory power of the model was 28.0% (F=12.62, p<.001). Conclusion: The present study suggests that organized efforts are needed to alleviate job stress and to increase social support for nurses in postgraduate courses in order to ultimately improve their nursing professionalism.

Effect of Customers' Psychological Power on Service Expectation and Response to Service Failure in a Restaurant Context

  • Purpose: The old axion to put the customers first (e.g., customers are king, customers are always right) has been taken for granted in the service sector. In addition, many companies in South Korea are providing customer-first education for employees at their contact points to strengthen their competitiveness. However, excessive increase in the psychological power of the customer can lead to a problem of abuse of power, called 'Gap-jil.' Despite these concerns, most companies hardly discard policies to give high priority to customers because of the assumption that it enhances customer satisfaction leading to organizational performance. However, in recent years, some franchise catering companies have posted warnings about the abuse of power by customers, and a movement to pursue a power-balancing between service providers and their customers is spreading. Research design, data, and methodology: This research is conducted to reconsider the principle of the customer-first perspective and to create a basis for arguments that can solve the problem of abuse of power, which is recognized as a serious social problem. In this research, we test and analyze the effect of customers' psychological power in the context of a restaurant on expectation for service and response to service failure. Result: The result of an experimental study shows that the effect of psychological power on customer satisfaction can be somewhat negative. Also, customers with high psychological power are more likely to have high service expectations. Especially high psychological power of customers causes a difference in the expectation level of human factors such as employee attitude, while the difference in expectations of non-human factors such as restaurant atmosphere was not statistically significant. In addition, when customers with high psychological power encounter service failure situation, they are more likely to feel disappointment and regret with a service provider. Meanwhile, the effect of psychological power on complaining behaviors are not significant. Conclusions: The findings of this research provide meaningful implications that the service providers should reconsider their existing corporate culture and management policies that put customers first. In addition, the result of this research is provided meaningful opportunities to review the management philosophy for the company's customers and the education philosophy for the employee education.

국민기초생활보장법상 보충성원리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Principle of Subsidiarity on the National Basic Livelihood Security Act)

  • 본 연구는 국민기초생활보장법상 보충성 규정의 법 원리적 성격을 규명하고자 하였다. 보충성은 그 기능의 측면에서 적극적 의미와 소극적 의미의 양면성을 가지기 때문에 그것이 도입된 법규범의 특성에 따라 다르게 해석 적용된다. 요컨대, 그것의 소극적 의미는 국가권력의 자의적 남용을 제한하여 시민의 자유를 보장하는 것이므로 형법 등 사회통제 규범에서는 타당한 기능이 되지만, 사회보장법 특히 공공부조에서는 사회국가(복지국가)원리에 따라 국가의 개입에 의한 지원과 예방책이 요구되므로 보충성원리의 적극적 의미가 타당하게 된다. 그러므로 국민기초생활보장법상 보충성원리는 적극적 의미로 해석 적용될 때 생존권적 기본권 보장에 순기능을 하게 되며, 법적 안정성도 가지게 된다.

보건계열 대학생의 사회적지지, 정신건강이 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Social Support and Mental Health on Resilience of Health Science College Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 보건계열 대학생의 사회적지지, 정신건강이 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료 수집은 J도에 소재한 3개 대학의 보건계열 대학생 191명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 24.0 프로그램을 이용하여, t-test, ANOVA, 피어슨 상관분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본연구의 결과 회복탄력성에 사회적 지지는 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, 정신건강은 통계적으로 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 회복탄력성에 영향을 미치는 변인은 사회적지지의 하위변수인 물질적 지지와 평가적지지, 정신건강의 하위변수인 불안, 인구사회학적 특성인 대학생활만족도로 나타났으며, 설명력은 48.9%이었다. 보건계열 대학생의 회복탄력성을 증진시키기 위하여 영향요인인 사회적 지지와 정신건강증진 방안을 개발하고 적용할 필요가 있다.
