Fundamental Investigation of Functional Property of Concrete Mixed with Functional Materials

  • Environment-friendly materials are increasingly used as building construction materials nowadays, and the market share of those is growing. Accordingly, the research and developments in terms of environmental value are progressing steadily now. The main characteristics of environmental products are far-infrared radiation, negative-ion emission, electromagnetic wave shielding, and antimicrobial property. These products are often used in mortar and as spray on the finishing material. Nevertheless, there are hardly any research on the functional properties of concrete, the main material in construction field. Thus, we evaluated such basic properties of concrete as slump, compressive strength and air content while using such functional materials as sericite, wood-pattern sandstone, carbon black and nano-metric silver solution to focus on their functional properties like far-infrared radiation, negative ion emission, electro magnetic wave shielding, and antimicrobial activity in this research. The results indicated that the most useful material in the functional materials was carbon black. Sericite and nano-metric silver solution had a little effect on the functional property. Moreover, although wood-pattern sandstone had very high functional property, it exhibited too low compressive strength to be applied, to concrete as a factory product. Antimicrobial property of nano-metric silver solution in the concrete was not clear demonstrated, but if these specimens were to be aged in $CO_2$ gas for a long time, it might be apparent.

  • In this paper, the $\Phi$-q-n pattern and average discharge power of silicone rubber have investigated effect of inter impurities. It's changed impurities by silicone oil, water and copper. Applied voltage is AC 3, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5[kV]. And data acquisition time is 10 second(600 cycles). These results suggest that partial discharge(PD) is shower negative polar than positive polar at 3[kV]. Positive polar's PD value increased with increase of applied voltage. The Conductivities expressed same $\Phi$-q-n pattern in positive polar and negative polar at phase region.

Eulsook-do's Change in Leisure Pattern by the Pre- and Post-Construction of Estuary Dike in the Coastal Area

  • The purpose of this study is the assessment of changes in the leisure patterns of users of the Eulsook-do before and after the estuary dike construction. The following survey research method was conducted to implement the study, sampling by age was carried out selectively and randomly alike. A total of 319 persons were chosen for final analysis, excluding questionnaires answered found to be inappropriate. To measure the image of the lower Nakdong River around the Eulsook-do, with advice sought from experts, researchers, through several pilot tests, developed a 24-item semantic differential scale(SDS) that has two bi-polar adjectives at each end Study of the pre- and post- construction images of the Eulsook-do located on the coast of Busan suggests the dike construction has brought about negative changes in the Eulsook-do's overall image. There can be two alternatives for improving the negative image: restoration and development.

  • 현재 액정 표시장치는 액정의 유전율 이방성 특성에 따라 Positive LC 와 Negative LC로 구분되어 개발 된다. Positive LC에는 TN(Twisted Nematic)모드와 IP(In Plane Switching) 모드가 있다. Negative LC에는 VA(Vertical alignment) 모드가 있다. 데이타 전압을 교류구동 시키므로, LCD Pixel들은 극성반전을 하게 되며, 이때 특정 Pattern에서 화면상에 비정상적인 색깔이 나타난다. 특정 Pattern이란 데이타 전압이 교류구동을 할 때, Vcom Level이 데이타 전압에 의한 Coupling 때문에 왜곡이 발생되고, 이 왜곡에 의하여 레드, 그린, 블루 Pixel의 충전을 차가 발생해서, 화면의 좌우는 적색편향 하게 보이고, 중앙은 녹색편향 발생된다.

  • 사물인터넷(IoT)은 지금의 우리가 살고 일하는 모든 방식을 변화시키고 있다. IoT를 통해 데이터를 생성하고 저장하고 연결된 장치와 상호작용하여 비즈니스는 물론 우리의 일상 생활을 개선하고 있는 것이다. 무수히 많은 센서들이 연결된 세상은 센서들에 의해 그 어느 때보다 거대한 양의 데이터들을 생산하고 있다. JSON, XML 같은 트리 구조의 데이터 타입은 대량 데이터 저장 전송 교환 등에 주요하게 사용되는데 이는 트리 구조가 이형 데이터 간의 유연한 정보 전송과 교환을 가능하게 하기 때문이다. 반면에, 효용성 높은 정보나 감추어져 있는 정보들을 트리 구조의 대량 데이터들로부터 추출하는 것은 일반 데이터 구조에 비해 훨씬 어려우며 더 난해한 문제들을 발생시킨다. 본 논문에서는 트리 구조의 대량 스트리밍 데이터로부터 가중치가 부여된 주요한 부정 패턴들을 추출하기 위한 방법을 공식화한다.

0.25um T-gate MESFET fabrication by using the size reduction of pattern in image reversal process (형상반전공정의 패턴형성시 선폭감소를 이용한 0.25um T-gate MESFET의 제작)

  • In this study, very fine photoresist pattern was examined using the image reversal process. And very fine photoriesist pattern (less than 0.2um) was obtsined by optimizing the exposure and reversal baking condition of photoresist. The produced pattern does not show the loss of thickness, and has a sparp negative edge profile. also, the ion implanted 0.25um T-shaped gate MESFET was fabricated using this resist pattern and the directional evaporation of gate metal. The fabricated MESFET has the maximum transconductance of 302 mS/mm, and the threshold voltage of -1.8V, and the drain saturation current of this MESFET was 191 mA/mm.

  • Micro pyramid pattern and its array are designed to enhance the brightness and its uniformity of LGP which is one of key parts in LCD. The designed micro pyramid patterns are fabricated on a Si-wafer first through MEMS process and then a Ni-stamper is electro-plated from the Si pattern master. Adopting the fabricated Ni-stamper, LGPs are injection molded at different mold temperatures and the fidelity of the pattern replication is estimated for each molding conditions and pattern locations. The replicated patterns are found to have some defect such as local short shot or micro weld line which are believed to have negative effect on the performance of the LGP.

Influence of Cu[II] on the Growth of Korean Axolotl, Hynobius leechii (동이온이 도롱뇽유생의 성장에 미치는 영향)

  • The growth of Korean axolotl., Hynobius leechii, was analyzed in natural water as control group and in six copper ion groups contaminated by 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6 ppm of copper ion. The copper ion checks the growth of the axolotl. The axolotl was not survived during 30 days in the copper ion of 0.3ppm, and, in the 0.4ppm the axolotl was not survived during 10 days after hatch. The growth of head width and body length show a convexing increase pattern, while that of hind leg shows a concaving increase pattern. The copper ion checks the development of hind leg. In the growth quantity of head width, body length and hid leg, that of natural water show the most rapid increase pattern, and copper ion groups of 0.1, 0.2, 0.3ppm follow in that order. The coefficient of relative growth($\alpha$) of control group is the greater value, and the copper ion groups of 0.1, 0.2, 0.3ppm follow in that order. The contaminated groups show the negative allometry in the relative growth of the containated groups to the natural water. Body length shows positive allometry, while hind leg shows negative allometry in the relative growth to head width.

Assessment of negative Poisson's ratio effect on thermal post-buckling of FG-GRMMC laminated cylindrical panels

  • This paper examines the thermal post-buckling behaviors of graphene-reinforced metal matrix composite (GRMMC) laminated cylindrical panels which possess in-plane negative Poisson's ratio (NPR) and rest on an elastic foundation. A panel consists of GRMMC layers of piece-wise varying graphene volume fractions to obtain functionally graded (FG) patterns. Based on the MD simulation results, the GRMMCs exhibit in-plane NPR as well as temperature-dependent material properties. The governing equations for the thermal post-buckling of panels are based on the Reddy's third order shear deformation shell theory. The von Karman nonlinear strain-displacement relationship and the elastic foundation are also included. The nonlinear partial differential equations for GRMMC laminated cylindrical panels are solved by means of a singular perturbation technique in associate with a two-step perturbation approach and in the solution process the boundary layer effect is considered. The results of numerical investigations reveal that the thermal post-buckling strength for (0/90)5T GRMMC laminated cylindrical panels can be enhanced with an FG-X pattern. The thermal post-buckling load-deflection curve of 6-layer (0/90/0)S and (0/90)3T panels of FG-X pattern are higher than those of 10-layer (0/90/0/90/0)S and (0/90)5T panels of FG-X pattern.

Effect of negative therapy at back meridian points on blood gas components and immune functions in male college students (배부(背部) 경혈(經穴)에 부항요법(附缸療法) 시술(施術)이 남자대학생(男子大學生)의 면역기능(免疫機能)에 미치는 영향(影響))

  • To investigate the effects of negative therapy at back meridian points on blood gas components and immune functions in male college students, this study was conducted on treatment types(abdomen group and back group) at three sampling times (before, post-2 wks and post-4 wks) by using $2{\times}3$ factoral design. Blood gas $components(pH,\;PCO_2,\;PO_2,\;HCO_3^-,\;O_2SAT,\;BE)$, red blood cell, hematocrit, hemoglobin, white blood cell and subsets(neutrophil, basophil, eosinophil. lymphocyte, monocyte), total T cells, helper T cells, suppressor T cells, Th/Ts ratio, total B cells, serum immunoglobulin levels (IgG, IgA, IgM, IgD, IgE), Cytokines(Interlukin$-1{\beta}$, -2, -4, 2 receptor, -6 and ${\gamma}$-interferon), NK cells were measured. Collected with data were analyzed statistically by repealed measured ANOVA. The pattern of change between two groups for hematocrit, hemoglobin, suppressor T cells, interleukin-6, ${\gamma}-interferon$, NK cells at post-2 weeks and BE, lymphocyte, basophil at post-4 weeks was significantly different(p<0.05) And also the pattern of change over time for ${HCO_3}^-$(2 wks vs 4 wks), WBC, neutrophil, lymphocyte(0 wks vs 2 wks and 2 wks vs 4 wks) was significantly different(p<0.05). In summary, these data suggest that negative therapy at back meridian points had an effect on blood gas components and immune functions in male college students because practicing negative therapy at back meridian points was not associated with changes of all blood gas components and immune factors but associated with changes of BE, hematocrit, hemoglobin, WBC. neutrophil, lymphocyte, interleukin-6. ${\gamma}-interferon$, NK cells.
