Information and information services are recently recognized as a commodity and libraries and information centers are also considered as a company. Under this circumstance, libraries and information centers encounter the problems how they can effectively achieve the objectives of service institutions and objectives of resource management as companies. Pricing policy for information services must be something to satisfy these two very different objectives. This paper discusses the following issues to develop pricing model for information services, 1) the needs of pricing for information services, 2) the major elements impacting to pricing of information services including the objectives of pricing, cost and demand of information services, and information value, 3) the pros and cons of pricing method using concepts of average cost, price differentiation, and marginal cost, respectively.

As national income of a country increases, people's needs for the services are also increasing. Recently, Korea has been confronted with deficit of service account in BOP, despite surplus of goods account. We can suppose that the reason why service deficit has been occurred continuously is mainly due to the system of Korean Foreign Trade Act which exclude the regulation of trade in services. That is, the Act could not regulate trade in services in Korea. So, Korea could not promote the export strategies for trade in services. This paper focuses on discovering the substitutional strategies for the revision of Foreign Trade Act in Korea. As a result, it was concluded that Foreign Trade Act in Korea should be reestablished fundamentally and also should include the articles related to trade in services and trade in goods simultaneously.

The principle of aging-in-place should be fundamental in designing post-retirement homes to support baby boomers' healthy aging in their current living conditions. This study investigated Korean-American baby boomers' opinions about their life images in their post-retirement homes and the needs for supportive services therein. A questionnaire survey was conducted, and a total of 247 responses were used for statistical analyses. As the most important life image for their post-retirement homes, baby boomers emphasized the living environments offering various recreational activities. They indicated the post-retirement homes close to their children or family members as the next important life image. These opinions differed depending on their socioeconomic characteristics. In particular, baby boomers with higher-income preferred housing environments offering diverse recreational activities while those with lower-income preferred the housing close to more employment opportunities. In terms of supportive services available in the post-retirement homes, they wanted 'healthcare assistance services' and 'diverse recreational programs.' Gender, educational attainment, and annual income affected their preferences in these services, though. Based on the findings, this study concluded that post-retirement housing environments should create spaces to accommodate various recreational activities and include places for them to work in near-home environments. In the community, various need-based customized recreational activities and educational programs should be planned considering different socioeconomic characteristics of baby boomers. All these considerations will provide supportive residential environments for their successful aging in place.

As digital transformation accelerates, the proportion of non-face-to-face services in financial services is also increasing. Recently, user experience has emerged to secure competitiveness in mobile services, and analysis techniques to improve user experience have emerged. User review data, one of the data used for quantitative evaluation, contains a lot of unnecessary information, which is time-consuming to derive improvement directions. Therefore, this study aims to develop a UX analysis system based on the hierarchy of UX needs by using a cosine similarity algorithm and analyze user review data of Kookmin Bank, Woori Bank, Kakao Bank, and Toss for verification. This study proved that the developed UX analysis system is a system that can effectively analyze UX through the analysis of user review data. The system of this study is expected to be easily used to identify improvement plans for the hierarchy of UX needs in an agile organization that needs to quickly reflect customer feedback.

The purpose of this study was to investigate health status and health promoting behaviors of female elderly, and their needs for health-related services in an urban-rural combined city. The data were collected from the subjects registered in senior welfare center and senior citizens' clubs. A total of 119 women were participated in the survey. The results of the study are as follows; 1. The subjects perceived their health status relatively unhealthy. Their health promotion behavior score was 10.82 (range 0-17), and more than $60\%$ of them performed well in smoking and drinking control, regular meal. taking breakfast, and maintaining good relationship with others. 2. The most needed service was health screening followed by health risk assessment, disease diagnosis and treatment. 3. The most demanded education was on dementia prevention, followed by exercise, balanced diet, and maintenance of memorial and mental capability. 4. As the health interest and the health responsibility increased, the need for health service increased as well. Likewise, the health education needs increased as the health interest, health responsibility, and health promotion behavior increased. The results show that the health promotion programs for female elderly need to be focused, primarily, on health screening, health risk assessment, medical services for disease diagnosis and treatment, and health consulting and education. And health consulting and education programs should be designed to promote health interest and health responsibility of female elderly, change positively their attitude to aging, and include education on dementia prevention, exercise and nutrition management. Recommendations are discussed.

Various efforts and technical development for integrating the ICT technologies to the area of special needs education have been continuing. In this paper we have studied and implemented various ICT-based disability evaluation websites and mobile applications for special needs education and also verified their usefulness from the field test at disability schools. The valuer can access the websites and mobile applications for autistic behavior or learning disability evaluation at the any places and by any devices such as laptop, PC, smartphone and tablet PC. And all the evalation results are stored into and managed at the server database and shared with websites and mobile applications to integrate together easily. From the study about disability evaluation and implementation results we have a confidence that they will be useful to support the seamless evaluation and the continuous monitoring services for the disabled at the special needs education fields.

Because the difference between products and services are getting less and less, service and manufacturing companies' efforts are increasingly focused on utilizing services to satisfy customers' needs under today's competitive market environment. The value of services depends on service reliability that is identified by satisfaction derived from the relationship between customer needs and service providers. In this paper, we extend concepts from the fault tree analysis for reliability analysis of tangible systems to services. We use an event-based process model to facilitate service design and represent the relationships between functions and failures in a service. The objective of this research is to propose a method for evaluating service reliability based on service processes using service blueprint and FTA. We can identify the failure mode of service in a service delivery process with a service blueprint. The fuzzy membership function is used to characterize the probability of failure based on linguistic terms. FTA is employed to estimate the reliability of service delivery processes with risk factors that are represented as potential failure causes. To demonstrate implementation of the proposed method, we use a case study involving a typical automotive service operation.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify the activities of daily living of the elderly in day and night care facilities and the nursing needs of the elderly and caregivers. Methods: The subjects of this study were 90 elderly people and their caregivers, who lived in B and G cities used day and night care facilities. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, independent t-test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient using the SPSS 25.0 program. Results: Caregivers have a higher awareness of nursing needs than the elderly. Both the elderly and their caregivers had the highest informational nursing requirements. There was a positive correlation between the activities of daily living of the elderly and physical nursing needs of caregivers, and there was also a positive correlation among the nursing needs in each area. Conclusion: These results suggest that day and night care facilities should provide customized nursing services by assessing the activities of daily living of the elderly and the nursing needs of the elderly and caregivers by area before establishing a nursing plan. This will enable them to provide effective nursing services for elderly people. In addition, we propose research to develop a nursing information program for the elderly and caregivers.

The purpose of this study was to review health and adjustment issues of Korean students in the context of international students' health in the United States. The number of international students studying in the United States has increased. In addition, more and more Koreans come to the United States for education. Korean students formed the fifth largest international group found on American campuses. As more and more international students study on American campuses, their health needs and problems became a concern to health professionals. Most health problems international students experience are stress related and psychosomatic. These students also have difficulties in using health care services. International students face barriers to obtaining health care because of differences in language and differences in cultural beliefs toward health. Korea manifests an eastern culture which is quite different from the western culture, so many Korean students studying in the United States experience difficulties in adjustment and using health care services. The study on the needs of Korean students in the U.S. reviewed in this research was a survey of 105 Korean students at the Pennsylvania State University, 1990. Korean students' health problems included stress, colds, fatigue, and headaches. Homesickness, financial problems, and academic problems were also important problems the Korean students faced. Korean students usually did not participate in any activities with Americans as much as with Koreans. Most Korean students did not participated in any health education workshops held on campus. This may be because the students had not participated previously in health education workshops conducted on campuses in Korea. Korean student's confidence with the English language appeared to be an important variable in using or not using the university health services. University health professionals in the United States need to develop better information system for international students so that they may better use the health services provided on campus. Also, university health professionals working on campuses in Korea need to put more attention on health of college students and provide on-campus health education workshops which meet the student's needs.
