임상간호사의 자율성과 직무만족 관련요인의 인과관계 분석 (The Causal Relationships among Nurses' Perceived Autonomy, Job Satisfaction and Realated Variables)

  • The present study examined the causal relationships among nurses' perceived autonomy, job satisfaction, work environment (work overload, role conflict, situational support, head nurses' leadership), personal aspects(experiences, need for achievement, professional knowledge and skill) by constructing and testing a theoretical framework. Based on literature review nurses' perceived autonomy and job satisfaction were conceived of as outcomes of the interplay among work environment and personal characteristics. Work environment factors involved work overload, role conflict, situational support, and head nurses' leadership (task oriented leadership, relation oriented leadership). Personal charateristics included experiences, need for achievement, and professional knowledge and skill. Three large general hospital in Chonbuk were selected to participate. The total sample of 516 registered nurses represents a response rate of 92 percent. Data for this study was collected from July to September in 1998 by Questionnaire. Path analyses with LISREL 7.16 program were used to test the fit of the proposed conceptual model to the data and to examine the causal relationship among variables. The result showed that both the proposed model and the modified model fit the data excellently. It needs to be notified, however, that path analisis can not count measurement errors; measurement error can attenuate estimates of coefficient and explanatory power. Nevertheless the model revealed relatively high explanatory power. 42 percent of nurses' perceived autonomy was explained by predicted variables; 32 percent of nurses' job satisfaction was explained by by predicted variables. Tn predicting nurses' perceived autonomy the findings of this study clearly demonstrated the work overload might be the most important variable of all the antecedent variables. Head nurses' relation oriented leadership, situational supports, need for achievement, and role conflict were also found to be important determinants for nurses' perceived autonomy. As for the job satisfaction, role conflict, situational supports, need for the achievement, and head nurses' relation oriented leadership were in turn important predictors. Unexpectedly the result showed perceived autonomy have few influence on job satisfaction. The results were discussed, including directions for the future research and practical implication drawn from the research were suggested.

Instructional Design in All (K-3) Students' Mathematical Achievement in Solving Word Problems

  • This paper investigates instructional strategies with potential for improving students' achievement in word problem solving. This review compares and analyzes the direct instruction (DI) and cognitively guided instruction (CGI) research on K-3 word problem solving mathematics students in a demonstration of my position that teachers need to understand student mathematical thinking to enhance students' achievement in word problem solving. CGI provides a more appropriate instructional model than DI for teaching word problem solving. For example, student-centered, conceptual understanding, and children's informal or invented problem solving strategies communicating with each other mathematically, etc. Korean teachers and teacher educators need to consider implementing CGI teaching strategies.

대학병원 간호사의 조직갈등이 조직몰입과 노조몰입에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Nurse's Organizational Conflict on Organizational Commitment and Labor Union Commitment in University Hospitals)

  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate the effects of university hospital nurses' organizational conflict between organizational commitment and labor union commitment, so as to provide data on prevention of conflict with the hospital and to improve work achievement with commitment of two different groups: hospital and labor union commitment. Methods: Data collection was conducted from May 15 to 31, 2011 for nurses registered in the labor union of a university hospital. The collected data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test and multiple regression. Results: Organizational commitment of the nurses showed significant differences according to age, position and work experience, and degree of labor union commitment according to academic achievement. The factors affecting labor union commitment were organizational conflict and recognition of need for labor union, which accounted for 19% of the variance. Factors affecting organizational commitment were organizational conflict, recognition of need for labor union, participation in organizational events, and renewal of membership in the union, which accounted for 33% of the variance. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that there is a need to improve work achievement by minimizing conflict and preventing labor disputes for better organizational commitment and labor union commitment of nurses.

2022 개정 초등학교 과학과 교육과정 성취기준 진술 분석 (Analysis of Achievement Standards Statements of 2022 Revised Elementary School Science Curriculum)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 2022 개정 초등학교 과학과 교육과정의 성취기준 진술을 분석하여 곧 적용될 교육과정의 성취기준을 구체적으로 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 Bloom의 신교육목표분류체계에 기초해 초등학교 전체 성취기준의 진술을 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성취기준의 진술이 특정 지식 차원과 인지과정차원에 편중되어 있다. 이는 2022 개정 교육과정의 목표와 과학과의 교수·학습 방향에 부합하지 못하므로 다양한 유형의 활동과 탐구 학습이 가능한 성취기준을 개발해야 한다. 둘째, 학년군별 지식 수준과 인지 수준의 위계화가 필요하다. 상위 학년군에서 오히려 하위 지식·인지과정 차원이 차지하는 비율이 증가하였으므로 체계적인 위계화를 고려해야 한다. 셋째, 성취기준 서술어를 다양하게 사용할 필요가 있다. 특정 서술어에 의존하는 경향은 이전 교육과정보다 줄었지만, 한두 차례만 사용한 서술어가 절반 정도를 차지하므로 다양한 서술어를 균형 있게 사용할 필요가 있다. 이 연구의 결과를 2022 개정 초등학교 과학과 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 과학 교과서의 성취기준에 반영하도록 성취기준 진술의 설계를 논의할 필요가 있다. 후속 연구로 과학 교육의 성격과 목표, 내용 요소를 고려하여 초등학교 과학 교육에 적절한 성취기준의 진술 방식 탐색 및 과학과 전체 교육과정의 위계성과 연속성 분석을 위한 중·고등학교 과학과 교육과정의 성취기준 비교 분석을 제안하였다.

근거 중심의 학습을 통한 학생들의 임상 실무 능력 개선에 관한 연구 (The Study of an Improvement of Clinical Competency through Evidence Based Learning)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect that the academic achievement of the students about the evidence based learning investigates the learning utility value about and the request. Method : The agreement of college students explaining the purpose of research for 12 weeks against 17 students and investigate through a questionnaire. The level of academic achievement according to the sex and claim showed a characteristic with a percentage. An utility investigate the descriptive epidemiologic characteristic about the class of the evidence based learning. Result : The most of college students the level of academic achievement and requests the expected grade of the students about the evidence based learning wanted the 'high' grade of 9 persons, 'middle' grade of 8 persons in the part and the expectation for the class taken so much was high(p<.05). There was the significant different in the utility aspect in the need of the evidence based learning, homework solution, learning synergy effect improvement, and reference search ability improvement(p<.05). Conclusion : These finding revealed that the evidence based learning the satisfaction with class raises the improvement and utility value, and provided the need and the has to develop the educational model which the college students contentment raises an improvement after this opportunity for the new recognition.

서두름 행동의 심리적 구조 및 특성 파악: 서두름 행동, 확인생략행동, 성취욕구 간의 관계 이해 (The Psychological Structure and Characteristic of Hasteful Behaviors: Understanding the Relation between Hasteful Behaviors, Omission of Checking and Achievement Striving)

  • 서두름 행동은 행동의 속도를 높여 최적의 목표를 달성하는 것을 말한다. 따라서 현재 하고 있는 행동의 속도를 높이면서 목표달성을 위해 최적의 방법을 사용하는 특성을 가진다. 서두름 행동은 전적으로 좋다 혹은 나쁘다고 단정질 수 없으며, 자신의 목표를 빨리 달성하고자 하는 의지는 성취동기를 반영한다. 그러나 동시에 이러한 의지는 어떤 행동을 생략함으로써 오류행동을 발생시킬 수도 있다. 서두름 행동의 심리적 구조 및 그 특성을 살펴보고자 191명을 대상으로 서두름 행동 질문지와 성취동기척도, 성격 5요인 검사를 실시하였으며, 결측치가 많은 응답자를 제외한 188명의 자료를 분석하였다. 서두름 행동 문항을 분석한 결과, 서두름 행동은 불편함, 시간압력, 고립, 지루함, 보상기대라는 5개의 상황 요인 아래에서 발생하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 서두름 행동을 구성하는 5요인들의 상관분석 및 서두름 행동과 성취동기의 관계를 분석한 결과, 서두름 행동은 크게 속도를 높임으로써 발생하는 '확인생략행동'과 자신의 과업을 잘하려고 하는 '성취욕구'로 이루어져 있었다. 그리고 서두름 행동을 구성하는 5요인 가운데 시간압력이 '확인생략행동'과 '성취욕구'에 공통으로 작용하고 있었다. 서두름 행동의 특성을 살펴보고자 서두름 행동의 2개 영역과 성격 5요인의 관계를 분석하였다. 그 결과, '확인생략행동'은 성격 5요인의 신경증과 정적 상관이 있는데 반해, 성실성과는 부적 상관이 있었다. 한편, '성취욕구'는 성격 5요인의 외향성과 정적 상관을 보였다.

The Interplay between the Psychological Factors and Entrepreneurial Intention: An Empirical Investigation

  • The domain of entrepreneurship has been dotted across various paradigms. Identifying and examining entrepreneurial intention and propensity to it spontaneously require the insight from the lens of psychological approach. The aim of this study is to examine the influence and impact of psychological factors on entrepreneurial intention; as it is found that in Bangladeshi context several entrepreneurship studies are undertaken, still the exploratory research on interplay between the psychological factors (i.e., self-confidence, locus of control, need for achievement, and tolerance for ambiguity) and entrepreneurial intention has been merely found. The study has chosen Bangladeshi university students as the unit of analysis and the ultimate sample size in this research is n=265. The current paper is a quantitative study where sampling method is followed by convenience sampling technique, and study data is collected through survey questionnaire. Data has been compiled into SPSS whereas, for hypotheses assessment, Smart PLS software is applied. The results reflect that self-confidence, locus of control, and need for achievement are revealed as contributory determinants of entrepreneurial intention while tolerance for ambiguity is found as an insignificant predictor. The current research is expected to offer an in-depth understanding about the significance of psychological factors in examining entrepreneurial intention.

다문화학생의 수학학업성취도 변화와 계층분류 (A classification analysis of students from multicultural families based on their mathematics achievement over time)

  • 본 연구는 다문화 학생들의 수학학업성취도 변화의 양상을 파악하고 예측하기 위하여 성장혼합모형의 잠재성장모형 분석을 하였다. 연구 결과는 다수의 다문화 학생들이 학년이 높아갈수록 성취도가 하향하고 있음과 성취도의 변화가 부모의 소득수준이나 교육수준과 연관이 없는 것으로 분석되었으며, 특히 여학생이 남학생보다 초기 성취도가 낮고 시간이 지남에 따라 급격히 감소할 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 공교육적 차원에서의 다문화 학생지원을 강화할 필요성을 보여주고 있다.

Integrating Values in Education: Managing Learning Crisis for Sustainable and Holistic Achievement

  • This paper attempts to explore the need and importance of values integration in educational activities to mitigate learning crisis and promote sustainable learning achievement. The traditional approach, commercial motive, focus on instrumental knowledge coupled with many other contemporary issues have collectively smothered the fundamental humanistic principles of education. To avert the situation and execute the core objectives, we need to shift our focus: a shift from instrumental knowledge to humanistic-transformational knowledge; a shift from the traditional approach of supplying and storing information to learning to deal with the real-world problems; a shift from head to heart. Values integration is an attempt to initiate and promote this shift. Rather than teaching values and moral principles under a particular subject heading, values need to be a part of everyday in-school and out-school activities. To concretize this concept, a model is proposed in this study as a holistic model of values integration via whole school ambiances and community support.

직장-가정 갈등이 이직의도와 조직몰입에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (An Effect of Work-Family Conflict on Turnover Intention and Organizational Commitment)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 어떠한 요인들이 직장과 가정에 갈등에 영향을 미치며, 그것들이 조직몰입과 이직의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 성취욕구 및 권력욕구 그리고 조직지원인식의 조절효과를 통하여 직장-가정갈등이 조직몰입과 이직의도에 대하여 지각하는 수준이 어떠한 효과를 나타내는지에 규명하는 것이다. 분석결과, 직장-가정갈등(일초래갈등, 가정초래갈등)은 조직몰입에 부(-)의 영향을 미치며, 직장-가정갈등(일초래갈등, 가정초래갈등)은 이직의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 성취욕구/권력욕구는 직장-가정갈등(일초래갈등, 가정초래갈등)과 조직 몰입간의 관계를 부분적으로 조절하며 성취욕구/권력욕구는 직장-가정갈등(일초래갈등, 가정초래갈등)과 이직의도간의 관계를 부분적으로 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 조직지원인식은 조절효과를 주지 못하는 것으로 나타났다.
