This research has a purpose to examine the actual conditions of natural dyeing program as a personal learning experience, participants' characteristics and common people's interest on natural dyeing nowadays. To examine the actual conditions of natural dyeing center and programs, many web sites and newspapers dealing with natural dyeing were used as main resources. As common people's interest on natural dyeing increased, there were a lot of natural dyeing centers in around country. To examine the interest on natural dyeing and the participants' characteristics of natural dyeing program, the data was obtained from a convenient survey of 326 respondents over 15 years old during 15th, May~30th, July in 2006. Almost 40% of respondents were interested in natural dyeing, but only 19% of respondents had ever participated in natural dyeing experience program. The participants' characteristics such as motivation, participating time, dyeing sources and materials, etc. were examined. Almost 65% of respondents were satisfied with natural dyeing experience. As long as people have interest on natural dyeing, Industrialization of natural dyeing will be advanced.

This paper describes a community effort to improve earlier versions of the full-text corpus of Genomics & Informatics by semi-automatically detecting and correcting PDF-to-text conversion errors and optical character recognition errors during the first hackathon of Genomics & Informatics Annotation Hackathon (GIAH) event. Extracting text from multi-column biomedical documents such as Genomics & Informatics is known to be notoriously difficult. The hackathon was piloted as part of a coding competition of the ELTEC College of Engineering at Ewha Womans University in order to enable researchers and students to create or annotate their own versions of the Genomics & Informatics corpus, to gain and create knowledge about corpus linguistics, and simultaneously to acquire tangible and transferable skills. The proposed projects during the hackathon harness an internal database containing different versions of the corpus and annotations.

The purposes of this study are to examine the conditions of natural dyeing experience program as a personal learning experience and consumer's interest and the participants characteristics of natural dyeing program so as to collect the practical data about natural dyeing program. To examine the interest and the participants characteristics of natural dyeing program, the data was obtained from a convenient survey of 326 citizens and tourists over 15 years old from Gwangju-city and Bosung in Chonnam during May 15${\sim}$July 30 in 2006. It was analyzed by frequency and t-test using SPSS 10.0. The results of the survey were: 1) The 40% of respondents are interested in natural dyeing. 2) Only 19% of respondents have ever participated in natural dyeing experience program. 3) The participants characteristics such as motivation and time of participation, item and source of natural dyeing according to natural dyeing program were various. 4) 65% of respondents were satisfied with natural dyeing experience. As the number of participants of natural dyeing increases, consumer awareness about natural dyeing will increase and finally industrialization of natural dyeing may be advanced.

The Korean government has recently announced its plan to establish the first National Museum of Natural History. However, the Korean word for natural history, jayonsa, is not a very familiar term to some academics as well as the general public. This article discusses the definition and history of natural history, describes the functions of natural history meseums, and makes suggestions to the establishment of our National Museum. Modern natural history is no longer an art of ‘stamp collecting’. It is a comprehensive scientific endeavor pursuing to enlighten the history of the planet Earth and the diversity of natural objects it contains. Natural history museum must have two museums within the museum: the outer museum for exhibition and general public education and the inner museum for research and specialist education. I hope that our National Museum of Natural History will be a place where we all get to know about Nature and thus to love her.

Large space structures exhibit different natural vibration characteristics depending on the aspect ratio of structures such as half-open angle. In addition, since the actual large space structure is mostly supported by the lower structure, it is expected that the natural vibration characteristics of the upper structure and the entire structure will vary depending on the lower structure. Therefore, in this study, the natural vibration characteristics of the dome structure are analyzed according to the natural frequency ratio by controlling the stiffness of the substructure. As the natural frequency of the substructure increases, the natural frequency of the whole structure increases similarly to the natural frequency of the upper structure. Vertical vibration modes dominate at $30^{\circ}$ and $45^{\circ}$, and horizontal vibration modes dominate at $60^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$.
