The article reflects short-term perspectives on the use of information and communication technologies in the training of teachers for higher education. Education is characterized by conservatism, so aspects of systematic development of the industry are relevant to this cluster of social activity. Therefore, forecasting the introduction of innovative elements of ICT training is in demand for the educational environment. Forecasting educational trends are most relevant exactly in the issues of training future teachers of higher education because these specialists are actually the first to implement the acquired professional skills in pedagogical activities. The article aims to consider the existing potential of ICT-based learning, its implementation in the coming years, and promising innovative educational elements that may become relevant for the educational space in the future. The tasks of scientific exploration are to show the optimal formats of synergy between traditional and innovative models of learning. Based on already existing experience, extrapolation of conditions of educational process organization with modeling realities of using information and communication technologies in various learning dimensions should be carried out. Educational trends for the next 3 years are a rather tentative forecast because, as demonstrated by the events associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the socio-cultural space is very changeable. Consequently, the dynamism of the educational environment dictates the need for a value-based awareness of the information society and the practical use of technological advances. Thus, information and communication technologies are a manifestation of innovative educational strategies of today and become an important component along with traditional aspects of educational process organization. Future higher education teachers should develop a training strategy taking into account the expediency of the ICT component.

This paper sought to find significant learning behavioral indicators and their correlation with the academic achievements of elementary teacher candidates engaged in an online course using MS Teams during the COVID-19 pandemic. Focused on variables such as the number of visiting days to MS Teams, on-time online assignments, conversation activities, posts, and replies, MS Insights data in the LMS environment were collected in the fall term of the 2020 academic year and analyzed in Pearson correlation and multiple regression. The number of visiting days and on-time online assignments were significantly correlated with their grades, whereas the indicators including average weekly conversation activity, posts, and replies did not have a significant effect on the achievements. Furthermore, the results revealed that the subject's behavioral intention to submit on-time assignments significantly predicted learner achievements.

Decreasing response rates to traditional survey methods, like face-to-face and telephone interviews, have led survey practitioners around the world to seek new ways of conducting surveys in recent years." The COVID-19 pandemic exacerbated this problem because it made conducting face-to-face interviews even more difficult than before. For example, it made conducting face-to-face surveys infeasible in 2020 in South Korea, and so the Korean Academic Multimode Open Survey (KAMOS) was unable to conduct a planned face-to-face survey to recruit new panel members. The entire 8,514-member panel, established via two-stage probability-based sampling from 2016 to 2019, was invited to take three online/telephone surveys in 2020. Of these panel members, 1,352 responded to at least one survey in 2020. To test to what extent the panel remained representative of the adult South Korean population, we compared the two groups of panel members: those who responded to at least one survey in 2020 and those who did not. After weighting both groups on the basis of age, sex, and geographical area, we analyzed their responses to some of the questions that were asked during multiple rounds of the face-to-face panel-recruiting interviews. Using Cohen's d for survey items that could be analyzed numerically and Cramér's V for categorical items, we were able to conclude that the respondents to the 2020 surveys were equivalent to the non-respondents in terms of both demographics and in the answers they originally gave to substantive questions on a variety of topics related to social science or public opinion research, including questions about quality of life, societal issue, and politics (Cohen's d items <0.2, 95% CI; Cramér's V items <0.1, 95% CI). This analysis may provide a model for others who wish to test the continued representativeness of their panel or who would like to use a different survey mode or change some other aspect of their methodology and test whether it is equivalent to their former methodology. Our success in building a panel that retained its representativeness may be useful to those in other countries where face-to-face surveys had previously been the norm but are becoming increasingly difficult to conduct.
An educator may utilize various pedagogies such as hands-on practice, practicum, and project-based learning to enhance a student's competency. Among various pedagogies, project-based learning is one of the well-known pedagogies that may provide similar on-the-job experience. In general, an educator may divide the students into small groups and assign tasks to check students' cooperation skills and achievements during project-based learning. However, an educator may experience difficulties operating project-based learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of the team activities are done in non-face-to-face meetings, and as a consequence, the educator may not find an underachieving team easily and cannot intervene appropriately. This study introduces a rigorous analysis method to evaluate team activities to analyze individual students' participation and contributions. First, this study develops evaluation rubrics by conducting questionnaires to professors and students to find an appropriate weight value for the evaluation scale. Then, this research introduces an analysis environment to evaluate students automatically. The analysis environment collects dialog data from social network services and measures interactions among students in a team. After measuring interactions, the environment generates a report to visualize the team activities. We applied the proposed method and environment to the capstone design course to show the effectiveness of the method and environment. Based on the case study, the environment showed that the analysis method could easily indicate the teams' activities and check the level of participation.
At a moment in which the entire culture and arts field is in crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the audience development strategies practiced by arts organizations require significant adaptation. In this paper we consider the theater for young audiences, Youngji, produced by the TYA(Theater for Young Audiences) Research Center(TYARC) of the National Theater Company of Korea (NTCK). We examine how an arts organization develops youth audiences and creates a participatory culture when normal non-face-to-face engagement is not possible. We applied an Action Research methodology to our research filed, which allowed us to track continuous change based on the evolving practices and contingencies of one arts sector organization. Using Brown and Novak-Leonard's (2011) audience involvement spectrum, Koste's (1995) concept of creative drama, and Moore's (1993) transactional distance theory, we explored the possibility of active audience development by analyzing the ways in which NTCK's arts education has adapted its approach to audience development. We find that, even in this non-face-to-face era, it is possible to effectively develop youth audiences through a dramatic play that continues from play to drama.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, remote working, e-learning, e-teaching and online collaboration have widely spread and become popular. Accordingly, the usage of IPsec VPN for security reasons has also dramatically increased. With the spread of VPN, VPN vulunerabilities are becoming an important target of attack for attackers, and many studies have been conducted on this. IKE v2 analysis is an essential process not only for developing and building IPsec VPN systems but also for security analysis. Network packet analysis tools such as Wireshark and Tcpdump are used for IKE v2 analysis. Wireshark is one of the most famous and widely-used network protocol analyzers and supports IKE v2 analysis. However Wireshark has many limitations, such as requiring system administrator privileges for IKE v2 analysis. In this paper, we describe Wireshark's limitations in detatil and propose a new analysis method. The proposed analysis method can analyze all encrypted IKE v2 messages in real time from the session key exchange In addition, the proposed analysis method is expected to be used for dynamic testing such as fuzzing as packet manipulation.

This study conducted qualitative research using Geochang Wolseong Space Creative Science Museum as a case study to investigate the organizational and operational status of small local science museums during the COVID-19 pandemic, as a basic study for the dissemination of scientific culture and public understanding of science. To analyze the situation of the science museum, an evaluation framework was developed, and information obtained through various communication channels and in-depth interviews with information commissioners of the museum were used for the study. As of 2020, when COVID-19 was at its peak, this science museum showed a clear decline in sales and visitor numbers compared to the previous year. Despite this situation, the museum was found to be using crisis management methods such as introducing unface-to-face programs, managing exhibits, and using various promotional media. However, the shortage of professional personnel, excessive workload of employees, and absence of differentiation from other science museums remain as challenges to be addressed in the future for sustainable earth science.
Due to the routine nature of social distancing in accordance with the COVID-19 pandemic, the logistics industry is under rapid development, given that offline demand is focused on online platforms. The number of warehouse workplaces and workers are steadily increasing per annum, and the industrial accident rate of transportation, warehouse, and telecommunication industries to which warehouse employees belong is higher than the total industrial accident rate in Korea. In previous studies, warehouse workers reported exposure to health hazards such as musculoskeletal disorders due to the handling of heavy objects and improper working postures. Accordingly, in this study, a survey was conducted to investigate symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders with focus on parcel delivery workers nationwide. The questionnaire included a musculoskeletal disorder symptom survey table to identify information such as worker occupational history, work type, and signs or symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders. Survey response data from 453 people were obtained to determine the influence of delivery business characteristics on occupational musculoskeletal disorders, and the influencing factors were analyzed. Based on the results, in the analysis of pain with respect to body part, the duration, degree, and frequency of pain were highest in the leg part, and as a result, the average value for the leg part exhibited a significant difference from those of other body parts. In addition, 52.32% of workers exhibited symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders, and a high number of patients with musculoskeletal disorders was observed in the work group with less than three years of service and with ages ranging from 30-39. The results of this study can serve as basic data for the derivation of a management plan that meets the characteristics of musculoskeletal disorders that impact logistics workers overburdened with work due to the rapid increase in parcel delivery volume in accordance with an increase in online consumption.

Purpose: Children with nephrotic syndrome may experience disease relapse or aggravation triggered by various viral infections. Limited studies on the clinical implications of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in children with nephrotic syndrome have been published worldwide. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effects of COVID-19 on the clinical course of nephrotic syndrome in children. Methods: The medical records of 59 patients with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome who visited our hospital between February and June 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. Results: Twenty of the total 59 patients with nephrotic syndrome were diagnosed with COVID-19 during the study period. The mean age at the time of the diagnosis of nephrotic syndrome and COVID-19 in all 20 patients was 4.6±3.5 and 8.9±3.9 years, respectively. Three patients (15%) were diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome relapse during COVID-19 and the relapse rate was similar to them without COVID-19 (20.5%, 8/39 patients). At the time of the COVID-19 diagnosis, fever (85%) and cough (40%) were the most common symptoms. After the diagnosis of COVID-19, all patients showed improvement with symptomatic treatment, including antipyretic analgesics and cold medicine. None of the critical patients required hospitalization or oral antiviral medications. Conclusions: Despite the use of immunosuppressants, the clinical manifestations of COVID-19 in children with nephrotic syndrome were not severe and are expected to be similar to that in the general population. The relapse rate of nephrotic syndrome in children with COVID-19 was also not different from them without COVID-19.
Corona Virus Disease 19 pandemic (COVID-19) causes many deaths worldwide, and has enormous impacts on society and economy. The COVID-19 was caused by a new type of coronavirus (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Cornonavirus 2; SARS-CoV-2), which has been found that these viruses can be effectively inactivated by ultraviolet (UV) radiation of 290~315 nm. In this study, 90% inactivation time of the SARS-CoV-2 virus was analyzed using ground observation data from Brewer spectrophotometer at Yonsei University, Seoul and simulation data from UVSPEC for the period of 2015~2017 and 2020. Based on 12:00-13:00 noon time, the shortest virus inactivation time were estimated as 13.5 minutes in June and 4.8 minutes in July/August, respectively, under all sky and clear sky conditions. In the diurnal and seasonal variations, SARS-CoV-2 could be inactivated by 90% when exposed to UV radiation within 60 minutes from 10:00 to 14:00, for the period of spring to autumn. However, in winter season, the natural prevention effect was meaningless because the intensity of UV radiation weakened, and the time required for virus inactivation increased. The spread of infectious diseases such as COVID-19 is related to various and complex interactions of several variables, but the natural inactivation of viruses by UV radiation presented in this study, especially seasonal differences, need to be considered as major variables.
