The purpose of this study is to investigate the religious motive and to clarify the relation between religion and fashion and to predict the trends in the future fashion by analyzing the religious motive in the aspects of inner meanings and methods. 1. We can see ego-superiority as inner meanings of religious motive is expressed mysterious image. Mysterious feeling is reflected in modem fashion in the form of the transparency of light and mysterious color in religious painting that is reemerged as a gorgeous and luxurious sense or it is reflected in modern fashion in the form of borrowing grand ways of art and elements of clothing. And this results from longing for aristocratic gorgeousness and from desire for light that is based on love and salvation. 2. We can see religious motive in modern fashion is a will to be converted to religion because of fin de sie-cle anxiety, and this is reemerged in modem fashion as borrowing of religious symbols in the casual wear or as combination of sacred religious motive with vulgar image and they are going to get mental satisfaction by this. 3. Religious motive has the inner meanings of ethic completion and this is reemerged through covering bodies, minimizing details and using dark tone color by having an inspiration in religious clothing. And this results from antipathy to extreme gorgeousness of modern fashion and excessive exposure and from mental desire for returning to an inner nature.

The hat is the most flexible human head covering. Almost entirely enveloping the hair, it can be simple, pure, elegant and mysterious. Yet it is frequently a highly decorative form of dress. The hat also takes a part in the extension of the area of art as soft-sculpture. My purpose of this thesis is to present diverse artistic hats with natural images by nontraditional materials and natural resources. The reason why I select nature as them is that it is absolutely the origin of life and art. To develop the innovative hat design, I focus on the material to extend the range of art expression. I observe nontraditional materials such as wire, paper and so on that enhance heterogenetic feeling from natural images. The attempt is made to enhance the visual effect by harmonizing the disharmonious feeling. Natural resources such as moss, orange, feather and so on could be adapted to the hat and applied for unique design, which supplies new expression. Therefore, the harmony of natural images and natural resources could avoid dullness, bestow elegance and polish the unique beauty creation of the hat.

This study aims to analysis the costume colors and images of wicked women in fairy tale. For the most costume applied to the relationship between color kind, brightness, and saturation. so, this study investigated the costume colors put on by wicked women in fairy tales and analysed and interpreted them by inputting data. First, mostly the costume colors applied to transfer the image of wicked women were dark blue, red, violet, bluish green, green, and purple. Second, the colors feeling cool and cold such as dark blue, bluish green, green, and blue were applied more frequently than the colors feeling warm and mild. Third, the deep and dark color tones with low brightness and low saturation affected by the mixture ratio of black were applied frequently for the use of wicked woman colors. Fourth, the colors mentioned above have the meaning of men, powerful, authority, cruel, angry, brutal, mysterious, and evil, that have the property of attacking and strong wicked women. They were expressed by the costume put on by wicked women.

Aesthetic values reflecting the phases of the time are well represented in the clothing styles in paintings. Especially, modern German romantic artists' ideologies on the essence of nature and life are reflected in the figures of paintings. This paper aims at finding out how the sublime beauty of German romantic clothing styles is represented in the paintings of Caspar David Friedrich. The research is summarized as follows. First, the German romanticism led the modern romanticism and was especially enthusiastic about the sublime beauty of arts. Second, the sublime means the exaltation of passionately soaring souls and has the mysterious transcendence that unpleasant feeling is elevated to pleasant feeling inside men who are so feeble compared with vast nature. Third, the male and female clothing styles in his paintings represent the religious, contemplative, paradoxical, transcendental, liberating sublime beauties of the German romanticism. Accordingly, a study on the sublime beauty of the German romantic clothing styles will renew the interpretation and aesthetic values of early modern clothing.

This study confirms and describes the meaning of the true experience on sexual perception of female college students as it is. Thus this study, revealing the structure of the meaning, tried to use phenomenal study tool as qualitative research design in order to seek nursing intervention for them. The method of data collection of this study was achieved February, 2000$\sim$August, 2000 through systematic interview, participation and observation from a focus group. The number of each focus group was 3 to 4, and the study analyzed with Giorgi method after selecting total 3 groups with 10 to saturate data, considering of the closeness among group members. The results are as follow; 1) Feeling psychological uneasy : feeling special mood, mysterious thing, tense thing, curious thing, concealing thing 2) Being to someone : receiving unilaterally, giving ahead, attracting attention, being to, being selected unilaterally 3) Feeling like to do together : relying, contacting, being together 4) Accepting another one's self : understanding the partner, taking responsibility for each other, enduring, trusting each other 5) Trying to be best to the partner : physically being pure, mentally being pure, being only one person to the partner, being open to each other, feeling free 6) Harmonizing conditions with conditions : considering appearance, one's family, economic support and so on 7) Making a love without premise of marriage : making a difference between marriage and love 8) Being a difference between men and women : being a different position, being shameful (because of not having a boyfriend), indecent thing 9) Being for a new life : conceiving a new life 10) Being able to have body touch : being able to kiss, being able to sleep together, being able to touch body 11) Being able to make homosexual love : being able to do homosexual love From the above results, right sexual education should deliver the value of sex which exists for life. So we need to develop the Korean-typed sexual education, according to the social and cultural background and reasonable demand level of education subjects. Furthermore we should give systematically connected education through the development of sexual education program by a developmental stage on the sex with broad and dynamic features, revealing different shapes each period of life. Since the members' value by culture is very different, reasonable and healthy sexual education cannot be done through a education program from foreign cultures. Consequently, the development of the study and program on sexual perception of Korean female college students suitable for the Korean cultural situation will be done.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the style of romanticism in fashion. Romanticism is advocating the conception called the respect of diversity and individuality in the modern society dominated by postmodernism trying to accept the various values.. In this study, the characteristics of romanticism are examined through the bibliographies on philosophy, aesthetics, architecture and art. In fashion. 19C is based on the costume history books and pictures. The characteristics of romanticism in literature and art which are applied to fashion are sensuality, ornament, exoticism and complexity. On the basis of these characteristics, the 19C fashion of romanticism are analyzed as follows. ㆍ Sensuality to emphasize sexual region of woman's body and to make ‘X’ silhouette is through exaggeration and exposure. This is the characteristic to relieve femininity. ㆍ Ornamentation is expressed in the gorgeous color and the varied material. details and trimming to add the fantastic mood, and the accessory to express the aristocratic elegance. This is a very important characteristic that produces the fantastic and romantic mood. ㆍExoticism to express aspiration for East is expressed either in items or accessories imported from the East. or in exotic material and pattern. This is the characteristic of fashion to express the desire to escape from the reality in the mysterious mood. ㆍMingler is expressed, contrasting or harmonizing the various patterns, color, material in a fashion by the textile with the rich color and print of the various feeling and many trimming. This is the external characteristic of the romanticism fashion combined the experimental mind of the technical progress with the romantic trend in those days. These characteristics of romanticism fashion in the 19th century presented with the various phenomena by working complexly rather than independently.

This study examines the Korean traditional and characteristic coloring through the color of Korean traditional embroidery. This research gives the chance to establish the cultural identity of Korea and presents the aesthetic standard of color images. Also, practical use of Korean traditional colors through this study provide opportunities which develope cultural merchandise in the world. were chosen as the references to analyzed the Korean traditional colors through gungsu: court embroidery, buddhist embroidery, everyday embroidery and clothing embroidery. Because this book published in commemoration of '20th General Conference and 21th General Assembly of ICOM' in 2004, which presented excellence of Asian culture. The color of these works were divided by 'Pantone Solid Color Chips' which organized by CMYK color system and categorized by Obangsaek. 'Gungsu' had vivid and splendid color sense which used strong and bright colors and 'buddhist embroidery' had mild and mysterious feelings which used low saturation.'Everyday embroidery' used the red color group frequently and 'clothing embroidery' had brighter colors comparing to other embroidery groups. The 'Chung(blue)' group had diverse color tone rather than one-tone color. This means that Koreans prefer the 'Chung' and used it regularly, also this color symbolized the racial characteristics. Even though 'Whang(yellow)' was prohibited because the color for emperor, in the case of embroidery, there were a variety of yellow colors from 'gold' to pale yellow and grayish yellow. The arrangement of colors in 'gungsu', tone on tone, complementary and bicolore coloring was used mostly which presented a strong and elegant color sense. On the other side, 'buddhist embroidery' used tonal coloring which gave gentle and noble feeling. 'Everyday embroidery' presented separation and accented coloring which was the example of common people's humor and originality. In the case of 'clothing embroidery', there was dominant lightness, separation, tone on tone and camaieu coloring which added gorgeousness in Korean traditional clothing.

According to Korean's geographical features of Taek Li Ji, the best location for human settlements is on the vicinity of a stream among a stream, an river and a sea, and not far from a ridge. The researcher chose one of best village which is called Yougokmaeul in Bonghwa-Gun, Kyungsang-Do. This village was created a gathering village with the same surname, can be translated as a hen and the front mountain can be seen as a rooster in the view of the shape of geographical features. As it were, the shape of this village and the cultivated land seems to be an egg inside a nest of a parent's chicken in the respect of the analogy of the theory of P'ungsuchiri which is known as Feng Shui in China and geomancy in the western world, and to effect the defensive psychology of the living environment in the terrain inland. This village is the studying place, Suckchunjungsa as the lecturing and studying place for their following students within the Chunghadonchun, the studying Yougok village, and even the ritual place performing ancestral sacrifices and the first incoming ancestor's graves in the same geographical system. The house site of the first incoming resident is surrounded the countian and is located in the front of Backsulryount which is the main mountain through Moonsu-san in the branch mountain of Korean's mountain system. Backsulryoung which is to be seen as the white peak, is symbolized the head of a hen which is to relate to a mysterious turtle in the view of P'ungsuchiri. And the pavilion which is called Chungamjung is sited on the rock of a shape of turtle which is symbolized to live longer. In the section of the mountain and water, Lee Jung Hwan mentioned a living place near the mountain stream is the best residential area and a landscape which is composed by a stream between mountains make a pleasure spirit and a bright feeling and make a refined person. If one can reach in the graceful mountain make a pleasure split and a bright feeling and make a refined person. If one can reach in the graceful mountain half day away, this kind of place must be a best living residential area to live. But this village was structured all in one place. And one of the ideas tangibly reflected in traditional Korean society's view of life and nature is the seclusion based on the Taoism. This kind of a dreamy thoughts make a dream to keep the paradise in our ancestors' mind. This kind of utopia is Chunghadonchun which is structured 5 aspects from the utopian gate near the Samgaesuewon to the village. These 5aspects is expressed by some Confucian thoughts as a small cosmos individually. On the third aspects which is the center among these aspects, the Suckchunjungsa which was made a seclusion place to devoting himself to his studies with refined tastes. The word of Jiju-am, Gangpung-dae, Jaewol-dae and Biryoung-pock are all expressed to cultivate one's moral character and to seek the truth by the Confucius'theory through the nature.

The purpose of this study is to analyze four separate elements-sublime beauty, elegant beauty, mysticism, ornament-which appeared in materials, patterns, colors, silhouettes, details, and accessories, laying stress on luxurious, brilliant, mysterious feelings on Gorgeous Images appeared as trend theme of modern fashion by mixing religious mysticism of the Byzantine Empire. Mysticism element is using the effect of splendid and gorgeous colors from the Orient rather than forms. And a philosophy of abundant colors in mosaics, which are seen in art forms such as architecture, paintings, etc., shows that it creates some visual rooms for religious spirits. Influenced by the fashion of the Greco-Roman style, the elegant beauty element is expressing abundant comfort and elegant feminine lines that are from creases, and it is also emphasizing natural beauty which seems to slip down by displaying the splendid images of Gorgeous as drapes that fit a body. Ornament element was reflecting an inspiration from the splendid and brilliant culture of religion in the Byzantine Age. Therefore, it was appeared as a style filling the whole with bulky silks, splendid ornamental materials embroidered in gold or silver thread, the complicated geometric patterns that are two-dimensional and dignified, and so on. It was decorated with crosses which represent Christianity as a motif, and also it emphasized the splendor of the Byzantine and dazzling splendid images of Gorgeous by using accessaries decorated with various jewels. The elements of sublime beauty are showing the beauty adding humble and majestic images to it as designs sought by spiritual values or intrinsic values. Those designs, so to speak, have pretense which does not allow to expose a body and plain pure feeling, so that they are showing some abstinent styles in a solemn atmosphere, with most details removed. We can say the Fashion Theme appearing in Modern Times is the result from representing by combining various factors of the times with formative beauty through creative works for aesthetic expression. The moderners are requiring new designs which is possible to meet their individualities, in addition to their outstanding fashion senses. From this point of view, a variety of textiles, patterns, and colors in the Byzantine have a great meaning to fulfill people's various desires as interesting elements.

초현실주의는 무한에 대한 동경, 무의식의 탐구 등으로 전통적인 서구 합리주의와 대립하는 미학관을 성립시켰다. 초현실주의의 주된 관심사는 정체성과 차이의 문제이며 '경이', '발작적 아름다움', '객관적 우연' 등과 같은 불가사의한 개념으로 그들만의 독특한 시도를 하였다. 이러한 그들의 독특한 미학관은 여러 가지 예술적 양식을 통해 표현 되어졌다. 그 중의 하나가 바로 초현실주의의 대표적인 표현 장치인 데페이즈망이다. 데페이즈망은 물체를 본래 있던 곳에서 '떼어내는 것'을 의미한다. 따라서 현실적 사물들을 대상으로 하여 그 본래의 용도, 기능, 의미를 현실적 공간에서 이탈, 환경을 변화시켜 그것이 놓여 질 수 없는, 또는 사물의 속성과는 관련성이 없는 낯선 장소에 조합시킴으로 초현실적인 환상을 창조해 내는 기법이다. 다시 말해 표현공간에서 사물 본래의 일상적인 질서나 배경, 분위기 등을 떼어내어, 자기장소를 떠나 존재하는 사물들이 새로이 '배치'하는 것이다. 시간과 공간을 초월하여 '재구성'된 이 사물들은 우리에게 경이와 심리적 충격을 안겨주며, 낯선 의미와 느낌을 전달하게 된다. 본 논문은 매체에 적용된 데페이즈망의 활용에 대해 고찰한 것이다. 특히 애니메이션의 적용에 논의의 초점을 둘 것이다. 애니메이션은 기타 다른 매체와는 달리 독특한 미학적 특성들을 지니고 있다. 우선 애니메이션은 분절 촬영으로 손에 의해 생성된 창조적 이미지이다. '배치'를 통해 생성된 애니메이션 이미지는 특유의 운동성으로 생명력을 얻는다. 노먼 맥라렌의 <환타지>와 해리 스미스의 <하늘과 땅의 마법>은 이러한 데페이즈망의 구조적 특성을 잘 반영한 흥미로운 작품으로, 추상적 형태와 다양한 움직임으로 이루어져, 관객에게 다양한 영화적 형식을 지각하도록 만든 작품이다. 여기서 우리는 생물과 무생물의 전위, 공간과 시간, 생성과 소멸, 반복과 변형 등 무수한 환상을 체험하게 되는데, 그 주된 장치는 애니메이션 프레임 공간의 데페이즈망을 강화한데서 기인한다고 할 수 있다. 결론적으로, 데페이즈망은 초현실주의의 대표적인 예술기법 중 하나인 동시에 애니메이션과 필연적인 연결고리를 갖는 양식이다.
