자연환경 전시관 디자인 특성에 관한 연구 - 생태학적 디자인 표현 경향을 중심으로 - (A study on the design characteristic of museum of natural environment - Focus on the expression trend of ecology design -)

  • According to change a generation, in modern society the view which looks at the nature the people and the space is changing. As recognition which the environment is the most important factor in our society, there are researches that environment has to preserve and there are methods that the environment is related with the human, therefore, in the space ecology design views that similar to modern society are being shift. Museum of natural environment is public and popular space that it is designed and composed by a method of ecology space design. Hence, on this study, the museum of natural environment is defined public space by ways of characteristics of ecology design and a design characteristic which the museum of natural environment basically has to arrange are examined. Gallery of natural environment is most related with subsidiarity of mutuality, unity of the totality and stablity and will need other factors such as diversity & balance and suitability. Characteristic of museum of natural environment will be understood method for extension of a sustainable and mutual public space based on the this study, and it will become a process that we will have to advance for not only the present day but also the future.

루이지아나 현대미술관에 나타난 공간경험 및 설계특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Spatial Experience and Design Characteristics in Louisiana Museum of Modern Art)

  • Louisiana Museum of Modern Art near Copenhagen is the most visited art museum in Denmark. It was originally founded by the director of the time, Knud W. Jensen and designed by two Danish architects, Vilhelm Wohlert and J${\o}$rgen Bo. The first part of the museum was built and opened to the public in 1958. The first part consisted of just a few exhibition spaces and glass corridors. But museum has been expanded step by step into a large park-like museum throughout 40 years of time. Louisiana museum has a unique environment in which art, architecture and nature are inter-related together. There was a very clear background for this museum atmosphere that was created by Knud W. Jensen from the very beginning. He wanted to make 'a sculptural park' or 'a low pavilion in the park'. The concept of 'park' was the key element. The architects, especially Vilhelm Wohlert who studied at the western area of the United States and influenced by the bay area architecture as well as the oriental wooden structure, interacted with the director's idea fully and made an invisible architecture in which 'Experience of Space' is the most important aspect. This thesis aims to analyze several crucial spaces of the museum and to find a hidden design characteristics. Chapter 2&3 explains general backgrounds and main design philosophy. Chapter 4 studies each parts' spatial experience and design methods with 3-dimensional diagrams. Chapter 5 tries to make an overall design characteristics that underlines the whole museum environment. The significance of Louisiana museum is not only in the fact that it is the most visited, but also in the fact that the role of architecture is to make a better environment where human and art are harmonized together within nature. The utopian idea of the founder started in doubt almost 50 years ago has been already successful in this small but vibrant park.

  • Museums have developed various needs of the visitors and exhibits over the past two centuries. Currently, they have multiple functions of display, conservation, research and public education about artworks and cultural events. Therefore, exhibits should be displayed in various ways so that visitors can feel inter-relations with exhibits. The exhibition areas of museums should be provided with the stable lighting environment for visitors and artworks. For the study, I selected four museums, which were the Seoul Museum, the Mimesis Art Museum, the Seoul Museum of Art in Nowon and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Gwacheon, and I measured illumination levels of the selected Museums, and then, I surveyed the visitors' responses on the lighting conditions of them. According to the results, the measurements of the illumination levels in the four museums showed that the illumination levels of them were effectively controlled to display the art works. However, the illuminance levels at some areas that drew the natural light as lighting source were much higher than recommended illumination values for museum. In the mean time, the answers of questionnaires showed that the natural light were so effective to light the museums although the natural light provided some areas with high illumination levels.

  • Generally part of museum collections are cycled exhibition space centering around preservation space, and that is a important mechanism of collections circulation in a museum. The reason why with a few exception most of collections have been lasting its life during over hundreds of years with adapting itself to natural features, so scheme of preservation facilities should be made up with understanding and analysis generic character of collections, and then establish proper temperature and huminity environment. So, this study is based on a fact that the collections' physical and chemical conditions vary in the relics a degree of transforatiov. And by making a suitable ganering environment, this gradual study is to provide planning factors for an architectural guide to make museum ganering environment organized and resonable.

박물관자료의 보존을 위한 전시공간 환경계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Environment Planning of Exhibition Space for Conservation of Collection in a Museum)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the design guidelines of exhibition space for conservation of collection in a museum. With the purpose of this study, examined the concept and a condition of conservation which is focused on deterioration in a exhibition space, investigated the actual condition of total 42 facilities and analyzed the specific instance which is excellent by factor of environment plan. Hereupon, the results of this study are as follows. First, exhibition space should be equipped with sufficient 'Filtering Space' before the outdoor and located central territory in a museum facility. Second, exhibition space should be partition off an area into the quality of collection, and then controlled by each of them. Third, in consideration of the annual air fluctuation of our country, the database which is adaptable for setting up the standard of temperature and RH must be prepared. Fourth, it is necessary to establish a 'Reference Exhibition Room' which is formed cellular type and a 'Garnering Exhibition Center'. Fifth, for the prevention of deterioration which is generated in exhibition space, the showcase must be high air-tight. Sixth, it is necessary to reduce a inside space of high air-tight showcase. Seventh, art-sorb is suitable for control the organic matter of collection and a except of fiber optics is not suitable for lighting of showcase. Eighth, wall-type showcase should be have air-chamber which is formed like museum storage and run over 8 hours a day.

강원지역미술관 물리적환경이 방문만족도에 미치는영향 연구 (Study on the effect of the physical environment of the Gangwon region art museum on the level of satisfaction of the visit)

  • 지역미술관은 미술자료의 수집, 보존, 연구, 전시, 교육의 기능을 갖추고 지역사회 발전을 위해 비영리적 기관으로 운영되고 있다. 이러한 미술관의 기반인 물리적 환경은 '인간에 의해 창조된 것'을 뜻하며 그 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 본 연구는 강원지역을 중심으로 미술관 물리적환경이 방문만족도에 주는 영향을 살펴보았다. 미술관 서비스 요소는 김홍희 (2012)의 연구를 참고하였고, Parasurama의 SERVQUAL 모형을 근거로 하였다. SPSS 18.0K 통계프로그램을 통해 강원지역 미술관 물리적 환경요인은 주변요인, 관람요인, 인적요인, 시설요인으로 나타났다. 가설검증 결과로 미술관 물리적환경은 전반적인 방문객 만족도와 성별에 따른 방문객 만족도에 정(+)적 영향을 주었고, 요인에 따라 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 결과를 통해서 강원지역 미술관이 더 나은 물리적 환경을 구축하고 방문객과 지속적으로 소통하기를 기대한다.

천문과학관의 이용자 불만요인을 활용한 개선방안 연구 - 거창월성우주창의과학관 사례를 중심으로 - (A STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PLANS USING USER DISSATISFACTION FACTORS IN ASTRONOMICAL SCIENCE MUSEUM - Focusing on the case of Geochang Wolseong Space Creative Science Museum -)

  • In this study, complaints from visitors in the science museum satisfaction survey were categorized into four primary factors and ten sub-factors. This categorization aimed to provide recommendations for enhancing the Geochang Wolseong Space Creative Science Museum as an illustrative case study. Futhermore, the study examimed the relative importance of each factor by surveying 90 science museum visitors. The following results are obtained. Firstly, it was evident that the Geochang Wolseong Space Creative Science Museum requires urgent improvement. Certainly, in the primary factors, issues related to the utilization environment emerged as the most significant sources of dissatisfaction, while in the sub-factors, the adequacy of fees was identified as the most prominent concern. Secondly, through the result of the IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) of the complaint factors, four primary issues were identified as top priorities for consideration: fare adequacy, lack of convenient facilities, in sufficient publicity, and a lack of distinctiveness compared to similar facilities. Lastly, when analyzing the relationship between complaints and overall satisfaction, factors related to human service, environment, and educational content had negative effects. In contrast, factors associated with science museum operation exhibited a different trend, suggestinga structural impact relationship with the overall impact of complaints.

온라인 학습환경으로서 가상박물관(Virtual Museum)의 가능성에 대한 탐구 (Review on the Educational Possibilities of The Virtual Museum as Online Learning Environments)

  • IT의 활용이 사회 전 영역에서 널리 사용됨에 따라 요사이 학교교육의 보완적 교육환경으로 언급되는 박물관에서도 가상박물관이라는 일종의 박물관 웹사이트가 등장하면서, 박물관의 교육적 기능과 역할을 더욱 강화시킬 수 있는 가능성에 주목받고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 웹 1.0에서 웹 2.0으로의 웹의 진화과정에 따라 가상박물관의 역할과 기능에서도 어떤 변화가 이루어지는지를 살펴보았으며, 특히 현재 국내외 가상박물관의 사례분석 및 문헌에 대한 분석 결과를 기반으로 가상박물관이 지닌 교육적 구성요소를 도출하고, 각각의 요소에 대한 교육적 활용방안들을 모색해보았다. 그 결과, 웹 2.0 기반의 가상박물관은 디지털 아카이브, 학습용 자료, 그리고 박물관을 중심으로 이루어지는 커뮤니티의 세 가지 기능과 역할로 요약될 수 있었으며, 이들 각각 요소에 대한 교육적 활용방안을 제공하였다. 궁극적으로 본 연구가 지향하는 바는 가상박물관을 학교교육의 보완적 교육환경을 넘어서, 차세대 온라인 교육환경으로 인식할 수 있는 토대를 제시하고자 하는 것이다.

  • 소셜플랫폼과 기술의 발전 덕분에 온라인 커뮤니케이션이 일상화 되면서 자신의 감정, 생각, 경험 등을 인터넷에 표현하는 것은 지극히 일반적인 일상이 되었다. 특히 SNS는 자신을 쉽게 표현하는 동시에 다른 이용자들과 교류할 수 있는 대표적 플랫폼이다. 개인의 소소한 일상부터 무엇을 하고 어떤 경험을 했는지 SNS로 소통하는 방식이 보편화되었다. 이에 따라 미술관은 관람객들의 참여와 관심을 끌어내기 위해 다양한 시도를 하고 있다. 관람객들을 끌어들여 놀이와 학습을 동시에 즐길 수 있는 콘텐츠 기반의 프로그램 및 환경을 제공하고 있다. 본 논문은 신기술의 발전과 이를 수용한 미술관 환경의 변화와 함께 단순한 감상에 그치지 않고 일상의 소통방식이 미술관 관람에서도 어떻게 나타나는가를 탐색할 것이다. 이를 통해 SNS을 비롯한 모바일 기반 소통이 미술관 관람의 질적 다양성을 제공하고, 의미있는 미술관 경험으로 완성될 수 있으며, 이에 따른 경험의 플랫폼으로서 미술관, 더 나아가 기술수용에 따른 문화예술기관의 다양한 역할과 기능을 제시하고자 한다.
