Effect of Live Commerce Characteristics on Purchase Intention : Focusing on the Parallel Multiple Mediating Effect of Trust and Flow (라이브 커머스 특성이 구매 의도에 미치는 영향 : 신뢰와 몰입의 이중매개 효과를 중심으로)

  • Untact marketing is being activated due to COVID-19. As a result, live commerce, an untact seller, is also active in the e-commerce market. Therefore, in this study, we tried to find out what factors influence consumers when they purchase through live commerce. In particular, since consumers' trust and flow in live commerce platforms and products is important, their mediating effects were analyzed. The research model was established by deriving common variables among the characteristics of live commerce based on previous studies. An online survey was conducted for empirical analysis. 200 users who made at least one purchase in live commerce were analyzed. The study results are as follows. Among the characteristics of live commerce, entertainment, economics, professionality were found to have a positive (+) effect on purchase intention. On the other hand, ease of use did not significantly affect purchase intention. The influence was shown in the order of entertainment, professionality and economics. The mediating effect of trust was found to play a mediating role in that entertainment, economics, and professionality affect purchase intention. On the other hand, a significant mediating effect was not tested between ease of use and purchase intention. As for the mediating effect of flow, it was found that flow plays a mediating role in that entertainment and economics affect purchase intention. On the other hand, the mediating effect of flow in terms of ease of use and economics affecting purchase intention was not tested. As for the multiple mediating effect of flow and trust, the mediating effect of flow was stronger than the mediating effect of trust when entertainment had an effect on purchase intention. In terms of professionality affecting purchase intention, the mediating effect of flow was also stronger than the mediating effect of trust. On the other hand, it was analyzed that only trust had a mediating effect when economics had an effect on purchase intention. The results of this study empirically tested that entertainment, which is a fun and interesting factor of live commerce content, is the most important factor when consumers use live commerce. In addition, various results were derived, such as cases where trust and flow act as mediators at the same time or not at all. Practical implications can be found in that it provided a clue about what to prioritize in order to reach consumers for live commerce platform.

Effects of Participation in Adult Education on Cognitive Function: The Mediating Effect of Relationship with Children among Older Adults (노인의 교육참여가 인지기능에 미치는 영향: 자녀관계 만족도의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of participation in adult education on cognitive function, and the mediating effects of relationships with children among older adults. This study employed data from the 2011 Elderly Survey, and a total of 8,668 older adults over 65-years old were used for analysis. Multiple linear regression analyses were used to examine the mediating effect of relationship with children based on the approach proposed by Baron & Kenny (1986). The results showed that participation in adult education increased cognitive function of older adults. Adult education participation also increased satisfaction with relationship with children, and relationship with children was found to have a mediating effect. These findings suggest that there is a need to recognize the importance of the relationship between older adults and children when developing education programs for older adults.

Mediating Effect of Stress on Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Burnout among Nursing College Students (일개 간호대학교 학생의 감성지능과 소진과의 관계에서 스트레스의 매개효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify the effect of stress on the relations between emotional intelligence and burnout among nursing college students. Methods: The study is a cross-sectional survey and the participants were 363 students attending a nursing college located in Seoul. Data were collected by convenience sampling using self-reported questionnaires that consisted of general characteristics, emotional intelligence, perceived stress and burnout. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression. Results: Findings of the multiple regression were as follows. First, emotional intelligence had a significant negative-effect on stress. Second, emotional intelligence had a significant negative-effect on burnout. Third, stress had a significant positive-effect on burnout and had a mediating effect on the relationship between emotional intelligence and burnout. Conclusion: Results of the study suggest that as a way to reduce nursing college students' stress and burnout, programs which help improve nursing college students' emotional intelligence should be developed and implemented.

  • This study investigates paths among factors influencing family relationship satisfaction of person with disability using path analysis and the 11th panel data of KoWePS(Korean Welfare Panel Study). While key independent variables include employment status, assets and depression are mediators. The result of this study are as follows: First, employment status, assets, and depression are found to have direct effect on family relationship satisfaction. Second, assets are found to have direct effect on depression. Third, we found full mediating effect of assets between employment status and depression. Fourth, we found not full but partial mediating effect of depression between assets and family relationship satisfaction. Finally, we found multiple partial mediating effects of employment status and family relationship satisfaction. The findings proposed that economic education as well as asset management targeting the disabled are required and very helpful to support their family relationship satisfaction. The Mediating Effect of Emotional Dissonance in the Relationship between Emotional Labor and Burnout among Clinical Nurses (임상간호사의 감정노동과 소진과의 관계에서 감정부조화의 매개효과)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the mediating effect of emotional dissonance in the relationship between emotional labor and burnout among clinical nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used. The participants were 257 nurses working at three general hospitals located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. Data were collected by convenience sampling using self-report questionnaires that consisted of general characteristics, and measures of emotional labor, emotional dissonance and burnout. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression. Results: The findings of the multiple regression were as follows. First, surface acting of emotional labor showed significant positive effects on emotional dissonance and burnout. Second, when surface acting and emotional dissonance were entered into the regression model at the same time, surface acting showed an insignificant effect on burnout, however, emotional dissonance showed a significant effect. Finally, emotional dissonance had a mediating effect only between surface acting of emotional labor and burnout, not between deep acting and burnout. Conclusion: Results of the study suggest that as a way to reduce burnout, nursing administrators should develop educational programs for nurses to perform deep acting of emotional labor instead of surface acting at the moment of truth.

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study analyzes the effect of psychological safety on innovative behavior mediated by job crafting. Design/methodology/approach - This study collected 221 survey data from employees in Korea. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and Macro Process. The multiple regression analysis and bootstrap analysis were hired in order to analyze the data. Findings - First, psychological safety had a significant effect on innovation behavior. Second, job crafting proved a mediating effect in the relationship between psychological safety and innovation behavior. In other words, it has been demonstrated empirically that task crafting, cognitive crafting, and relational crafting, which are sub-elements of job crafting, play a mediating role in the relationship between psychological safety and innovative behavior. Research implications or Originality - This study expanded the study of Job Crafting in that it revealed the mediating role of Job Crafting in the relationship of psychological safety and innovative behavior. Second, this study has novelty in that it has established a sense of psychological safety as an independent variable that promotes innovative behavior, and that it has examined each other's structural relationship by adding a variable called Job Crafting.

  • This study analyzed the multi-mediating effects of information security, personal information infringement, personal experience, and information security intention in the relationship between personal information protection and information security attitude. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 221 students from G University. First, information security, personal information infringement, and information security awareness had a simple mediating effect. Second, information security, personal information infringement, personal experience, and information security consciousness had parallel multi- mediation effects. Third, personal information infringement and information security awareness had a simple mediating effect in the parallel multiple mediation state. Fourth, information security had a simple mediating effect, but it was found that there was no simple mediating effect in the parallel multiple mediation state. This study is meaningful in that it empirically compared the simple and multi-mediation effects.

Mediating Effect of College Adjustment in the Relationship between Self-Leadership and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy among First-Year Nursing Students (간호대학 신입생의 셀프리더십과 진로결정 자기효능감의 관계에서 대학생활적응의 매개효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of college adjustment on the relationship between self-leadership and career decision-making self-efficacy in first-year nursing students. Methods: This descriptive research involved 250 nursing freshmen at two local universities and analyzed data from the final 170 students. Descriptive statistics, the independent t-test, the Kruskal-Wallis test, the Mann-Whitney U test, the Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression were employed for data analysis. The mediating effect was assessed following Baron and Kenny's three-step verification procedure, and the statistical significance of the mediating effect was determined by bootstrapping. Results: Academic adjustment (β=.24, p<.001) and institutional adjustment (β=.20, p=.004), sub-factors of college adjustment, were identified to have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between the subject's self-leadership and career decision-making self-efficacy (β=.47, p<.001). Conclusion: Enhancing the career decision-making self-efficacy of first-year nursing students could become more effective through the development of programs focused on career exploration and counseling, which include content to promote self-leadership and college adjustment (academic adjustment and institutional adjustment).

The Effects of Parental Control Perceived by College Students on Career Maturity: Focusing on Multiple Mediating Effects of Self-Determination and Self-Efficacy (대학생이 지각한 부모통제가 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향: 자기결정성과 자기효능감의 다중매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine that multiple mediating effects of self-determination and self-efficacy in the relationship between the parental control and career maturity. In the study, 747 university students in Daegu, Busan and Seoul area were surveyed on their perceived level of parental control, career maturity, self-determination and self-efficacy. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation analysis with SPSS 25.0 program, Hayes'Process Macro program and bootstrapping. The major results of this study were as follows; First, there were significant differences in college student's career maturity by grade, major, experience in career-related services and part-time job experience period. Second, there were significant correlations between parental control(behavioral control and psychological control), career maturity, self-determination and self-efficacy. Third, self-determination and Self-efficacy had multiple mediating effects in the relationship between parental control and career maturity. In conclusion, this study found multiple mediating effects of self-determination and self-efficacy in the relationship between parental control(behavioral control and psychological control) and career maturity. It was also found that parental behavioral control had a positive effect on career maturity by increasing self-determination and self-efficacy while parental psychological control had a negative effect on career maturity by decreasing self-determination and self-efficacy.

  • This study examined the relationships between teacher variables that improve the efficacy of the play teaching of infants and toddlers following a play-oriented curriculum. The participants were 287 infant teachers. The results were as follows. First, the independent variables had a significant effect on the efficacy of play teaching, teacher-infant interaction, and classroom environment. Second, the mediating effects of teacher-infant interaction and classroom environment on the effect of independent variables on the efficacy of play teaching were as follows. The interaction mediating effect between professionalism and play belief was significant, but teaching creativity was found to be significant. In the mediating effect of the classroom environment, expertise, play belief, and teaching creativity were found to be significant. Third, both teacher-infant interaction and the multimedia effect of the classroom environment were statistically significant in mediating the effect of independent variables on the efficacy of play teaching. These results provide basic data on the necessity for teacher education to explore ways to improve teachers' sense of efficacy in teaching play and their teaching skills.
