해외 시장을 겨냥한 소프트웨어의 상품화를 위해서는 여러 나라의 언어를 지원하는 다국어 지원 기능이 필요하다. 3-tier 구조는 2-tier 구조의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 애플리케이션을 분리하여 응용 계층을 두고 프리젠테이션 로직과 데이터베이스를 미들웨어로 연결하는 형태이다. 3-tier 구조의 장점은 애플리케이션의 부하 분산으로 성능이 향상되며 확장이 쉽고, 유지보수와 재사용이 용이하다는 점이다. 본 논문에서는 3-tier 구조의 기업용 소프트웨어를 대상으로 소프트웨어 개발과 유지보수, 지원 언어의 추가가 용이한 공통 리소스 활용 방식을 제안하고 빌링 솔루션의 다국어 버전 개발에 적용하여 유용성을 확인한다. 제안하는 방식은 기능 모듈마다 언어별 리소스 파일을 별도로 유지하는 닷넷의 기존 방식을 개선하여 언어별로 하나만 유지하고 다국어 지원 클래스 라이브러리 형태로 제공하여 메모리와 디스크의 공간 낭비를 줄인다. 또한 다국어 지원 클래스 라이브러리를 응용 계층에 배치하여 소프트웨어 개발과 유지보수, 지원 언어 추가가 용이하다. 한편 리소스 파일에 대한 부적절한 변경을 막기 위해 다국어 지원 클래스 라이브러리는 dll 파일로 제공한다.

Recently EAI WG of IETF has published standards for multilingual support in the local part of the e-mail address. Between 2009 and 2010, EAI WG published RFC documents, called the EAI standard, extension to the existing mail-related RFC documents, and EAI has been implemented and tested. In the course of reviewing the results, this yielded a proposal to modify the EAI standard. As a result, EAI WG has published modified RFC documents, called the EAI bis standard. SMTPUTF8 mail server described in this paper has been implemented according to the EAI bis standard. In addition, it has the ability to support two different standards to support the multilingual domain part of the e-mail address, IDNA and EAI bis. Futhermore, SMTPUTF8 mail server can encode in punycode the local part of the e-mail address. Finally, interoperability testing shows that SMTPUTF8 mail server is well-implemented according to the EAI bis standard.

주어진 도메인 이름에 대하여 클라이언트 프로그램은 DNS(Domain Name System)을 통하여 해당 IP주소를 얻는데 현제의 인터넷상에서는 ASCII 코드로 표현되는 도메인이름의 사용만 가능하다. 이로 인하여 ASCII 코드와는 다른 코드체계를 갖는 국가들도 ASCII 코드로 표현된 도메인 이름을 사용할 수밖에 없다. 그러므로 보다 편리한 인터넷 사용자 환경을 위해서는 기존의 ASCII 코드로만 제한되어 있는 도메인 이름 보다는 해당 국가의 코드로 표현할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 본 고에서는 기존의 DNS 상에서 도메인 이름을 다국어로 표현할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 기존의 운 도메인이름 표현규약 하에서의 UTF5를 기반으로 하는 다국어 코드와 ASCII 코드간의 상호 변환 방법, 변환된 코드값을 도메인 데이터 패킷에 적용하는 기법, 그리고 변환된 도메인 이름 데이터를 저장하는 네임서버의 설정 방법으로 구성된다. 제안하는 기법을 기초로 하여 클라이언트 프로그램과 DNS 사이에서 게이트웨이로서 동작하는 Proxy HDNS(P-HDNS)를 구현하여 실제로 한글도메인이름이 국내 인터넷 환경에서 사용할 수 있었다. 본 고에서는 제안하는 기법과 P-HDNS의 구현 내용에 대하여 기술한다.

Elasticsearch is an open source search and analytics engine that can search petabytes of data in near real time. It is designed as a distributed system horizontally scalable and highly available. It provides RESTful APIs, thereby making it programming-language agnostic. Full text search of multilingual text requires language-specific analyzers and field mappings appropriate for indexing and searching multilingual text. Additionally, a language detector can be used in conjunction with the analyzers to improve the multilingual text search. Elasticsearch provides more than 40 language analysis plugins that can process text and extract language-specific tokens and language detector plugins that can determine the language of the given text. This study investigates three different approaches to index and search Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK) text (single analyzer, multi-fields, and language detector-based), and identifies the advantages of the language detector-based approach compared to the other two.

이 연구의 목적은 국내 대학도서관의 외국인 서비스를 개선하는 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 국내 대학 중 외국인 유학생 1,000명 이상인 도서관의 외국인 서비스 현황에 대해 분석하였고, K 대학교 도서관의 외국인 서비스 사례를 분석하였다. 국내 대학도서관의 외국인 서비스를 4개 유형으로 분류하여, 도서관의 다국어 홈페이지, 다국어 공지, 외국인 이용자 전담사서, 다국어 이용교육에 대한 현황을 살펴보았다. 또한 K대학교 도서관의 외국인 전담 사서를 통한 정보서비스, 외국인 이용자 교육, 외국인 전용공간, 외국인 대상 프로그램 실시 등의 사례를 분석하고 만족도 조사 및 외국인 유학생과 교직원의 인터뷰를 통한 운영효과를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과, 도서관의 외국인 서비스 개선 방안으로 '다국어 서비스 제공', '학습·연구지원 서비스 확대', '특성화 서비스 제공', '독서 및 문화 프로그램 지원 서비스'가 도출되었다. 이 연구는 실제적인 개선 방안으로 '전담사서 배치를 통한 다국어 서비스 제공', '외국인 맞춤형 이용자교육 실시', '외국인 특성화 서비스 개발', '도서관 비교과 프로그램 지원'을 제시하였다.

대학도서관은 유학생들이 학습 자원을 얻는 가장 주요한 정보원에 속하므로 유학생들의 학업에 미치는 영향이 크다. 그러나 현재 대다수의 대학도서관은 영어를 제외한 다국어 지원 서비스를 적절히 제공하지 않기 때문에 영어가 모국어가 아닌 유학생들의 학업 수행을 어렵게 만들 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 대학도서관 서비스 중 다국어로 제공할 수 있는 서비스를 유학생 맞춤형 서비스로 정의하고, 이러한 맞춤형 서비스가 대학도서관 이용자 만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 더 나아가서, 본 연구는 유학생 맞춤형 서비스를 적절히 제공하고 있는 대학도서관의 유학생들과 그렇지 않은 대학도서관의 유학생들의 이용자 만족도를 비교하였다. 이를 위해 서로 다른 두 대학에 재학 중인 중국인 유학생을 대상으로 설문 조사하여 총 138부의 응답을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 유학생 맞춤형 서비스가 유학생의 대학도서관 이용 만족도에 영향을 미친다는 것을 발견하였다. 특히, 다국어 서비스의 지원은 안내 책자/표지판, 홈페이지를 통한 자료 접근 및 이용, 그리고 이용자 교육 등과 같은 서비스에 대한 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 본 연구의 결과는 대학도서관이 유학생들의 학업 활동을 효과적으로 지원하는 서비스에 대한 실질적 함의를 시사한다.

Purpose Consumption behaviors of consumers have changed with the widespread use of the Internet and smart phones, and accordingly online marketing activities are becoming ever more prevalent. Yet, the domestic food-service industry has yet to offer an Omni-Channel order system that encompasses a online, offline, and mobile interface. Also, a multilingual menu ordering service for foreign tourists is not yet available. Therefore, if an order service system accessible online and offline which could provide multi-language services were implemented, the satisfaction of the service provider and domestic and foreign customers would be maximized. Design/methodology/approach By designing an electronic menu based on open an OS and providing electronic menus in offline stores, we have completed the design of a linked order system which would be available everywhere (online, offline, and mobile). The CMS was developed to integrate these three mediums and the entire operator was designed to receive basic information and statistical information about the merchants, or store operators. Also, a multilingual term dictionary containing menu information for foreign tourists was made into a database so that foreign tourists who are having difficulty in communication can use it more easily. Findings We have made it possible for customers to use the order service without distinction between online, offline, and mobile platforms, and have proved that it is a more efficient and convenient service for customers as well as operators. Nevertheless, as an initial model, the implemented system has limitations on the execution of the payment support method in the electronic menu board and in the management division of the CMS. In case of commercialization, it is necessary to make an alliance of efforts to attract initial franchises. Through further supplementation, we expect the online and offline connection-types martservice system will maximize the satisfaction of both operators and customers alike.

다국어 전자 우편 주소의 필요에 의해 IETF의 EAI(E-mail Address Internationalization) 워킹 그룹은 2006년부터 다국어 전자 우편과 관련된 광범위한 표준들을 만들어왔다. 본 논문의 저자는 선행 연구로서 EAI RFC 프로토콜들을 지원하는 SMTPUTF8 메일 서버를 설계하고 구현하였다. SMTPUTF8 메일 서버는 EAI RFC 프로토콜을 지원하는 새로운 SMTP 서버와 POP3 서버로 구성된다. 하지만 SMTPUTF8 메일 서버는 EAI RFC 프로토콜을 지원하는 새로운 IMAP 서버를 포함하지 않았다. 최근 많은 사람들이 스마트폰을 이용하여 모바일 환경에서 받은 전자 우편을 확인하고 새로운 전자 우편을 작성하여 보낸다. 모바일 환경에서 IMAP 서버는 POP3 서버보다 더 유용하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다국어 전자 우편 주소를 지원하기 위해 IETF의 EAI 워킹 그룹에서 발표한 새로운 IMAP 표준을 지원하는 IMAP 서버와 IMAP 클라이언트 앱을 설계하고 구현하였다. SMTPUTF8 메일 서버 사용자들이 모바일 환경에서 IMAP 클라이언트 앱을 통해 다국어 전자 우편 메시지를 확인할 수 있게 하기 위해 새로운 IMAP 서버는 SMTPUTF8 메일 서버에 추가된다.

The paper discusses the nature of Knowledge Organization Systems (KOSs) and shows how these can support digital library users. It demonstrates processes related to integration of KOS like the Dewey Decimal Classification, $22^{nd}$ edition (DDC22) in DSpace software (http://www.dspace.org/) for organizing and retrieving (browsing and searching) scholarly objects. An attempt has been made to use the DDC22 available in Bengali language and highlights the required mechanisms for system-level integration. It may help a repository administrator to build an IDR (Institutional Digital Repository) integrated with SKOS-enabled multilingual subject access systems for supporting subject descriptors based indexing (DC.Subject metadata element), structured navigation (browsing) and efficient searching.

LinkedIn is one of the most job hunting and career-growing applications in the world. There are a lot of opportunities and jobs available on LinkedIn. According to statistics, LinkedIn has 738M+ members. 14M+ open jobs on LinkedIn and 55M+ Companies listed on this mega-connected application. A lot of vacancies are available daily. LinkedIn data has been used for the research work carried out in this paper. This in turn can significantly tackle the challenges faced by LinkedIn and other job posting applications to improve the levels of jobs available in the industry. This research introduces Text Processing in natural language processing on datasets of LinkedIn which aims to find out the jobs that appear most in a month or/and year. Therefore, the large data became renewed into the required or needful source. This study thus uses Multinomial Naïve Bayes and Linear Support Vector Machine learning algorithms for text classification and developed a trained multilingual dataset. The results indicate the most needed job vacancies in any field. This will help students, job seekers, and entrepreneurs with their career decisions
