  • Early academic warning is considered as an inherent problem in education data mining. Early and timely concern and guidance can save a student's university career. It is widely assumed as a multi-class classification system in view of machine learning. Therefore, An accurate and precise methodical solution is a complicated task to accomplish. For this issue, we present a hybrid model employing rough set theory with a back-propagation neural network to ameliorate the predictive capability of the system with an illustrative example. The experimental results show that it is an effective early academic warning model with an escalating improvement in predictive accuracy.

  • Implementation of DPI(Deep Packet Inspection) system on a general purpose multiprocessor platform is an attractive option from the implementation cost point of view, since it does not require high-cost customized hardware. Load balancing has been considered as a primary means to achieve high performance in multi processor systems. We claim, however, that in case of DPI system design simply balancing the load of each processor does not necessarily yield the highest system performance. Instead, we propose a method in which tasks are allocated to processors based on their functions. We implemented the proposed method in dual processor Linux system and compare its performance with the existing load balancing methods. Under the proposed method, one processor is dedicated to deal with interrupt handling and generic packet processing, while another processor is dedicated to DPI processing. According to experimental results, the proposed scheme outperforms the existing schemes by 60%, mainly because of the reduction of cache miss and spin lock occurrences.

  • In comparison to traditional monolithic kernel, the microkernel based operating system has slower speed. But Microkernel based OS suites for multi-computer system, because It has benefits in the modularity and portability point of view. Each unit and memory of a processor must be initialized by using the boot information so that the multi-computer system OS can actively run the function of the system. This paper describes the microkernel initialization of OSF/1 AD3 MISIX that is based on OSF/1 AD3 for SPAX. It will introduce the initialization of microkernel for the SPAX which is High-speed Parallel Processing system in terms of Boot, Initialization related hardware and memory address space construction. This paper will also state the test result based on test environments. Microkernel tested in single node system that has 4 processors.

  • Many reported methods assume that the people in an image or an image sequence have been identified and localization. People detection is one of very important variable to affect for the system's performance as the basis technology about the detection of other objects and interacting with people and computers, motion recognition. In this paper, we present an efficient linear discriminant for multi-view people detection. Our approaches are based on linear discriminant. We define training data with fisher Linear discriminant to efficient learning method. People detection is considerably difficult because it will be influenced by poses of people and changes in illumination. This idea can solve the multi-view scale and people detection problem quickly and efficiently, which fits for detecting people automatically. In this paper, we extract people using fisher linear discriminant that is hierarchical models invariant pose and background. We estimation the pose in detected people. The purpose of this paper is to classify people and non-people using fisher linear discriminant.

  • In this paper, we propose a color correction technique for images acquired through a multi-view camera system for acquiring a 3D model. It is assumed that the 3D volume is captured indoors, and the position and intensity of the light is constant over time. 8 multi-view cameras are used, and converging toward the center of the space, so even if the lighting is constant, the intensity and angle of light entering each camera may be different. Therefore, a color optimization function is applied to a color correction chart taken from all cameras, and a color conversion matrix defining a relationship between the obtained 8 images is calculated. Using this, the images of all cameras are corrected based on the standard color correction chart. This paper proposed a color correction method to minimize the color difference between cameras when acquiring an image using 8 cameras of 3D objects, and experimentally proved that the color difference between images is reduced when it is restored to a 3D image.

  • Many does an application and application but the image analysis of face detection considerably is difficult. In order for with effect of the illumination which is irregular in the present paper America the illumination to range evenly in the face which is detected, detects a face territory, Complemented the result which detects only the front face of existing. With LAB color illumination revisions compared in Adaboost face detection of existing and 32% was visible the face detection result which improves. Bought two images which are input and executed Glassfire label rings. Compared Area critical price and became the area of above critical value and revised from RGB smooth anger and LAB images with LCFD system algorithm. The operational conversion image which is extracted like this executed a face territory detection in the object. In order to extract the feature which is necessary to a face detection used AdaBoost algorithms. The face territory remote login with the face territory which tilts in the present paper, until Multi-view face territory detections was possible. Also relationship without high detection rate seems in direction of illumination, With only the public PC application is possible was given proof user authentication field etc.

  • The KOrea Multi-Purpose Satellite-3 (KOMPSAT-3) provides 0.7 m Ground Sample Distance (GSD) panchromatic image and 2.8 m GSD multi-spectral image data for various applications. The KOMPSAT-3 system data will be applied in the field of earth observations, covering land, sea, coastal zones, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). In order to keep the swath width of 15km at nadir view of KOMPSAT-3, CCD consist of approximately 24,020 pixels excluding 20 dark pixels at both sides and has overlap region. Because there are no CCD-line sensors with a pixel size of $7{\mu}m$, the field of view is separated into 2 parts and imaged on 2 detectors, each with 12,080 pixels. Therefore, 2 detectors have different geometric characteristic. This paper provides image simulation for geometric characteristics analysis of overlapping area of KOMPSAT-3 using KOMPSAT-2 image data.

  • In this paper, we propose an automatic displacement system for testing stability of structure. Photogrammetry is a method which can measure accurate 3D data from 2D images taken from different locations and which is suitable for analyzing and measuring the displacement of structure. This paper consists of camera calibration, feature extraction using coded target & retro-reflective circle, 3D reconstruction and analyzing accuracy. Multi-view camera which is used for measuring displacement of structure is placed with different location respectively. Camera calibration calculates trifocal tensor from corresponding points in images, from which Euclidean camera is calculated. Especially, in a step of feature extraction, we utilize sub-pixel method and pattern recognition in order to measure the accurate 3D locations. Scale bar is used as reference to measure. the accurate value of world coordinate..

  • Time comparison techniques are necessary for generating and keeping Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and distributing standard time clocks. Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Common View, GNSS All-in-View, Two-Way Satellite Time and Frequency Transfer (TWSTFT), Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI), optical fiber, and Network Time Protocol (NTP) based methods have been used for time comparison. In these methods, GNSS based time comparison techniques are widely used for time synchronization in critical national infrastructures and in common areas of application such as finance, military, and wireless communication. However, GNSS-based time comparison techniques are vulnerable to jamming or interference environments and it is difficult to respond to GNSS signal disconnection according to the international situation. In response, in this paper, Code-Division Multiple Access (CDMA) based All-to-All TWSTFT operation method is proposed. A software-based simulation platform also was designed for performance analysis in multi-TWSTFT signal environments. Furthermore, code and carrier measurement jitters were calculated in multi-signal environments using the designed simulation platform. By using the technique proposed in this paper, it is anticipated that the TWSTFT-based time comparison method will be used in various fields and satisfy high-performance requirements such as those of a GNSS master station and power plant network reference station.
