A formalism of reference language and homogeneous field is constructed for Iverson Language to organize a virtual file among external media. To execute some data manipulations among these external media files must be organized homogeneously forming multi-dimensional array like single media. This paper shows some organization of reference language to build the virtual file using many external media and some examples of program and hardware organization is presented for the justification of proposals.

In this paper, we propose an i-vector based language recognition system to identify the spoken language of the speaker, which uses multiple discriminative deep neural network (DNN) models analogous to the multi-class support vector machine (SVM) classification system. The proposed model was trained and tested using the i-vectors included in the NIST 2015 i-vector Machine Learning Challenge database, and shown to outperform the conventional language recognition methods such as cosine distance, SVM and softmax NN classifier in open-set experiments.

This paper explores how to teach Chinese, using multi-media resources such as Chinese dramas and focusing on one of Jin Yong's dramas, The Return of the Condor Heroes. The purpose of this study is to develop teaching methodologies for university students learning Chinese through drama to integrate language skills: enhancing communicative competence and understanding Chinese cultures. First, the overview of previous studies provides several cases of foreign language education using drama. Teaching Chinese through drama can be an integrative education because students can develop their communicative competence as well as understand the cultures of the target language. In other words, the contexts of drama may offer rich sources of the history of China, Han Chinese ethnocentrism, and knowledge of Chinese literature as well as geography. Second, this study applies the principles of Tomlinson (2010) for materials development in language teaching into the case of Chinese drama. It concentrates on Jin Yong's The Return of the Condor Heroes that the author has used in the Chinese language courses for three years. It examines the characteristics of the drama for developing effective ways of teaching and learning Chinese language and culture. Furthermore, it discusses the impact of using drama on changes in students' pervasive perceptions about unnecessity of Chinese classical literature. Third, this paper presents some sample lessons which may help teachers to develop understanding of how to organize lessons through drama. Finally, it illustrates university students' opinions about using drama to learn Chinese.

In this study paper, we examine pre-trained language models used in Multi-Goal Conversational Recommender Systems (MG-CRS), comparing and analyzing their performances of various pre-trained language models. Specifically, we investigates the impact of the sizes of language models on the performance of MG-CRS. The study targets three types of language models - of BERT, GPT2, and BART, and measures and compares their accuracy in two tasks of 'type prediction' and 'topic prediction' on the MG-CRS dataset, DuRecDial 2.0. Experimental results show that all models demonstrated excellent performance in the type prediction task, but there were notable provide significant performance differences in performance depending on among the models or based on their sizes in the topic prediction task. Based on these findings, the study provides directions for improving the performance of MG-CRS.

Building skins are expanding even beyond theirfunctions as a simple boundary between the exterior and interior and into the realm of linguistic functions thanks to the development of media art. LED has been used as material on outer walls following the advancement of building materials, so the outerskins of large buildings are evolving into a messenger of language capable of communication. In big cities, buildings send out video images to enable communication between people and architecture, which plays a huge role in determining the identity of a building beyond simple advertising. Such media fa?ade technologies can be understood based on the concept of outerskin change, which refers to the idea that animals change the colors or textures of their skins to show their various states. In addition, various message delivery functions in human clothes should be included in such a discussion. We need to research on the possibilities of seeing media facades for their information delivery function and expanding them into information delivery between buildings as well as just between buildings and people.

A variety of design processes from 2D graphic to 3D models are meeting improved consumers' confidence of modern clients. However, the current design methods are limited to meet consumers' needs and express a design concept what a designer wants to show. Therefore the study here tries a test of hybrid space simulation combined with previous models and digital media technology, which can be used for multiple contents. The study can contribute to suggesting virtual space simulation that can help clients' spatial understanding in this media era and deliver emotional language of designers as well by utilizing the strong point of multi-sensible media.

This paper aims to inform people how to support each other on social media. It alludes to an architecture for social media discourse and proposes a novel theory of support in social media discourse. It makes a methodological contribution. It combines predominately artificial intelligence with corpus linguistics analysis. It is on a large-scale dataset of anonymised diabetes-related user's posts from the Facebook platform. Log-likelihood and precision measures help with validation. A multi-method approach with Discourse Analysis helps in understanding any potential patterns. People living with Diabetes are found to employ sophisticated high-frequency patterns of device-enabled categories of purpose and content. It is with, for example, linguistic forms of Advice with stance-taking and targets such as Diabetes amongst other interactional ways. There can be uncertainty and variation of effect displayed when sharing information for support. The implications of the new theory aim at healthcare communicators, corpus linguists and with preliminary work for AI support-bots. These bots may be programmed to utilise the language patterns to support people who need them automatically.

Motivation and learning strategies, some of the important factors affecting language learning, have mostly been studied with reference to their relationship in terms of proficiency. This study investigated motivation and learning strategies and their relationship in order to find the inward predisposition of learners. Data was collected from 200 university students in Taejon and Chungnam province, Korea language learning strategies were measured by the Strategy Inventory for Language Learning(SILL), and motivation by the Attitude / Motivation Test Battery(AMTB), with adaptations for Koreans. The detailed analysis of the data Indicated that Korean university students were more motivated to learn English for a practical goal than a formal one. They had a strong willingness to learn but showed 'the tendency of the new generation' of choosing the easiest and most convenient ways in studying English in terms of motivational intensity and strategy use. Findings imply that there have to be some changes and improvements in the deep-rooted classroom teaching methods. A systematic device is needed to induce students to be autonomous learners, providing them with a variety of activities suitable for their purposes and levels, as in opportunities of contacting native speakers, multi-media language labs, the Internet etc.

In this study we develop core technology of Multi-Charmel Voice Guidance System based on active 2.45GHz RFID that can be used in the field of advertising. Through this, we can service more familiar with voice information to foreigners by own language in large scale international event. As an alternative to the current high-expensive voice guidance system in exhibition hall and provide more value added services to user. As the result, we present the configuration of integrated software platform which include media server, media client and receiver. It can be as a basis infra equipment for a signtseeing in RFID/USN environment. Additionally through tag information analysis about exposure of advertisement that is collected late, supposed system may achieve role as a new marketing tool.
