칼라 분할 방식을 이용한 비디오 영상에서의 움직이는 물체의 검출과 추적 (Moving Object Tracking Method in Video Data Using Color Segmentation)

  • Moving objects in video data are main elements for video analysis and retrieval. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm for tracking and segmenting moving objects in color image sequences that include complex camera motion such as zoom, pan and rotating. The Proposed algorithm is based on the Mean-shift color segmentation and stochastic region matching method. For segmenting moving objects, each sequence is divided into a set of similar color regions using Mean-shift color segmentation algorithm. Each segmented region is matched to the corresponding region in the subsequent frame. The motion vector of each matched region is then estimated and these motion vectors are summed to estimate global motion. Once motion vectors are estimated for all frame of video sequences, independently moving regions can be segmented by comparing their trajectories with that of global motion. Finally, segmented regions are merged into the independently moving object by comparing the similarities of trajectories, positions and emerging period. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is capable of segmenting independently moving objects in the video sequences including complex camera motion.

다중색상정규화와 움직임 색상정보를 이용한 물체검출 (Object Detection using Multiple Color Normalization and Moving Color Information)

  • 본 논문에서는 영상 내 물체 영역에 대한 다중정규화와 움직임 색상 정보를 활용하여 이동 물체에 대한 후보 그룹을 추출하고 영상 분할 방법에 의해 대상 물체 영역을 정의하며 최종적으로 목표물체에 대한 검출방법을 제공하였다. 다중 색상변환에 의해 물체의 고유영역 확률을 강화하고 MCWUPC(Moving Color Weighted Unmatched Pixel Count) 연산을 활용하여 이동물체의 영역을 강조하는 두 가지 개념을 결합함으로써 최종적으로 입력 영상 시퀀스에서의 후보영역을 찾아 분할하였으며 매 프레임 정확한 물체의 외곽정보를 검출하였다. 제안된 알고리즘을 검증하기 위하여 이동물체의 이동 실시간이 가능한 시스템을 구축하였고, 다양한 배경을 포함한 실험영상 120 프레임을 처리한 결과 $89\%$ 이상의 추적 성공률을 보여주었다.

깊이와 색상 정보를 이용한 움직임 영역의 인식 방법 (A Recognition Method for Moving Objects Using Depth and Color Information)

  • In the intelligent video surveillance, recognizing the moving objects is important issue. However, the conventional moving object recognition methods have some problems, that is, the influence of light, the distinguishing between similar colors, and so on. The recognition methods for the moving objects using depth information have been also studied, but these methods have limit of accuracy because the depth camera cannot measure the depth value accurately. In this paper, we propose a recognition method for the moving objects by using both the depth and the color information. The depth information is used for extracting areas of moving object and then the color information for correcting the extracted areas. Through tests with typical videos including moving objects, we confirmed that the proposed method could extract areas of moving objects more accurately than a method using only one of two information. The proposed method can be not only used in CCTV field, but also used in other fields of recognizing moving objects.

  • In this paper, A tracking of the moving objects using normalized hue distribution in HSI color model was proposed. Moving objects are detected by using difference image method and integral projection method to background image and objects image only with hue area. Hue information of the detected moving area are normalized by 24 levels from $0^{\circ}$ to $3600^{\circ}A$ distance in between normalized levels with a hue distribution chart of the normalized moving objects is used for the identity distinction feature parameters of the moving objects. To examine proposed method in this paper, image of moving cars are obtained by setting up three cameras at different places every 1 km on outer motorway. The simulation results of identity distinction show that it is possible to distinct the identity a distance in between normalization levels of a hue distribution chart without background.

컬러 정보를 이용한 무인항공기에서 실시간 이동 객체의 카메라 추적 (The Camera Tracking of Real-Time Moving Object on UAV Using the Color Information)

  • This paper proposes the real-time moving object tracking system UAV using color information. Case of object tracking, it have studied to recognizing the moving object or moving multiple objects on the fixed camera. And it has recognized the object in the complex background environment. But, this paper implements the moving object tracking system using the pan/tilt function of the camera after the object's region extraction. To do this tracking system, firstly, it detects the moving object of RGB/HSI color model and obtains the object coordination in acquired image using the compact boundary box. Secondly, the camera origin coordination aligns to object's top&left coordination in compact boundary box. And it tracks the moving object using the pan/tilt function of camera. It is implemented by the Labview 8.6 and NI Vision Builder AI of National Instrument co. It shows the good performance of camera trace in laboratory environment.

골격 특징 및 색상 유사도를 이용한 가축 도난 감지 시스템 (Livestock Theft Detection System Using Skeleton Feature and Color Similarity)

  • In this paper, we propose a livestock theft detection system through moving object classification and tracking method. To do this, first, we extract moving objects using GMM(Gaussian Mixture Model) and RGB background modeling method. Second, it utilizes a morphology technique to remove shadows and noise, and recognizes moving objects through labeling. Third, the recognized moving objects are classified into human and livestock using skeletal features and color similarity judgment. Fourth, for the classified moving objects, CAM (Continuously Adaptive Meanshift) Shift and Kalman Filter are used to perform tracking and overlapping judgment, and risk is judged to generate a notification. Finally, several experiments demonstrate the feasibility and applicability of the proposed method.

Real-Time Motion Blur Using Triangular Motion Paths

  • This paper introduces a new algorithm that renders motion blur using triangular motion paths. A triangle occupies a set of pixels when moving from a position in the start of a frame to another position in the end of a frame. This is a motion path of a moving triangle. For a given pixel, we use a motion path of each moving triangle to find a range of time that this moving triangle is visible to the camera. Then, we sort visible time ranges in the depth-time dimensions and use bitwise operations to solve the occlusion problem. Thereafter, we compute an average color of each moving triangle based on its visible time range. Finally, we accumulate an average color of each moving triangle in the front-to-back order to produce the final pixel color. Thus, our algorithm performs shading after the visibility test and renders motion blur in real time.

HLS 색상 공간에서 동영상의 안개제거 기법 (Video Haze Removal Method in HLS Color Space)

  • This paper proposes a new haze removal method for moving image sequence. Since the conventional dark channel prior haze removal method adjusts each color component separately in RGB color space, there can be severe color distortion in the haze removed output image. In order to resolve this problem, this paper proposes a new haze removal scheme that adjusts luminance and saturation components in HLS color space while retaining hue component. Also the conventional dark channel prior haze removal method is developed to obtain best haze removal performance for a single image. Therefore, if it is applied to a moving image sequence, the estimated parameter values change rapidly and the haze removed output image sequence shows unnatural glitter defects. To overcome this problem, a new parameter estimation method using Kalman filter is proposed for moving image sequence. Experimental results demonstrate that the haze removal performance of the proposed method is better than that of the conventional dark channel prior method.

현대건축의 색채구조를 적용한 공간해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Space interpretation by Application of Color Structure in Contemporary Architecture)

  • Contemporary architecture pursues new method of Interpretation of Non-linear space as digital media appears. As various materials and new methods can be used due to developments in science and expansion of thinking, contemporary architectural color developed extensive possibilities. It means not only the change of drawings, method of architectural product and materials but also the change of value system for architectural space. Thus the purpose of this paper is to suggest interpretation of space applied by color structure, and this point of view was based on the three elements of color perception which are light source, reflector, and observer. According to this categorization, architectural color of exterior color, layer color and interaction color are explained via examples of colors recently used on the contemporary architectures. In summary, contemporary architecture can be explained by Non-construction space interpretation for intrinsic complex meanings. Therefore, it can be explained as moving space, collage, by picturesque space, moving blur color and emptiness of color. This pursues various point of views for space interpretation, therefore it can be developed to the identity of strengthening architectures' design concept.

색상 움직임을 이용한 얼굴 특징점 자동 추출 (Automatic Extraction of the Facial Feature Points Using Moving Color)

  • 본 논문에서는 컬러 비디오 시퀀스 상에서 눈과 입에 해당하는 얼굴 특징점을 고속으로 추출하는 방법을 제안한다. 자유로운 움직임을 갖는 얼굴 영역을 안정적으로 추출하기 위해 얼굴 색상 분포를 이용한 색상 변환 영상에 움직임 검출 기법을 적용하여 움직이는 살색 부분만을 효율적으로 검출하는 색상 움직임 개념을 사용하였다. 움직임 정보는 살색의 가능성 정도에 따라 가중치가 주어지며 화소 단위의 움직임 여부를 결정하는 문턱값도 살색의 가능성 정도에 따라 적응적으로 결정된다. 눈의 색상분포와 형태소 연산자를 사용한 움직임 살색 영역에서 눈 후보 영역을 추출하고 눈과 눈썹의 상호 위치 관계를 이용하여 눈의 영역을 최종 결정한다. 입의 영역은 눈의 위치를 기준으로 입 후보 영역을 정하고 색상 히스토그램을 이용하여 입의 영역을 검출한다. 찾아진 눈과 입의 영역에서 정확한 특징점의 위치를 구하기 위해 PCA (Principal Component Analysis)를 사용하였다. 실험 결과 복잡한 배경, 개인적인 편차, 얼굴의 방향과 크기 등에 영향을 받지 않고 고속으로 정확한 얼굴의 특징점을 추출할 수 있었다.
