  • Expert system is an effective approach for quality system to be automated and thus to be an essential integrating mechanism in any move towards CIM(Computer Integrated Manufacturing). A quality control expert system is introduced and its relationship to CIM is illustrated in a case study. Process control expert system developed by Kim and Sin[6] has been improved via ODBC(Open DataBase Connectivity) for efficient information network, graph representation using Windows API for rapid response and some new rules for identification of patterns in control charts.

  • Up to the present information processing has been studied in the field of radar and electrical communication. However, recently photographic images have been sent and received a laser communication system. This paper is an attempt to discuss a method of information transmittance accomplished by holography. The results of experiment show that two-dimensional photographic images at the output appear with spots and when the degree of intensity of the images produced reach a frequency plane to move towards 40-60.mu., they show a finer effect.

  • This paper presents an estimation of relative distance and angle from a mobile robot to an object. From the number of pulses required to make the mobile robot move to the feature point, we find the relative distance and angle between the mobile robot and the object. The proposed method shows a practical way of measuring the relative distance and angle between the mobile robot and an object without setting up real world coordinate system.

  • Whereas earlier research on information seeking efforts focused on system related concepts and observer constructs. the recent literature reflects a move toward user consturcts. The purpose of the study is to review, analyze and synthesize the various models on information seeking. The study suggests that the practice of intermediares can be both more efficient and effective if it is based on the conceptual assumptions that undergird the cognitive factors: systems designs or software access will also benefit if these cognitive factors are built into the information system as centeral design features.

  • The finite control volume method was utilized to investigate the effects of flow through openings on convection in an enclosure. Flow patterns and temperature distribution were compared for non-dimensional inflow velocity U=20, 40, 60 at Ra=$10^4$ and $5\times10^4$, respectively. The inflow velocity influenced temperature distribution in the enclosure significantly and lowered temperature on the top wall. The flow through openings forced the position of the highest temperature on the top wall to move toward the outflow opening.

  • In this paper, we shall show a condition for that a chart is C-move equivalent to the product of two charts, the union of two charts ${\Gamma}^*$ and ${\Gamma}^{**}$ which are contained in disks $D^*$ and $D^{**}$ with $D^*{\cap}D^{**}={\emptyset}$.

  • Developed is an optical auto-inspection system to detect some microscopic defects on the Inside surface of the hydraulic automobile brakes at the production line. A small cylindrical detection module with a solid laser source at its center has two rings of optical fibers to separately collect light reflected and scattered from the defects on the surface. The cylindrical brake part rotates with respect to the detection module that will move parallel to the rotational axis of the cylinder. Thus, the optical module can scan the whole inside surface area. The automatic detection of the defects is to compare the intensity distributions ...

  • In this paper we consider to parallel machines scheduling problems for minimizing mean tardiness that is known NP-complete. This problems is classified into two cases, one of which is the case which processing time are identical and the other, nonidentical. A Tabu Search method is applied to the problems considered in this paper to get an improved solution. To this end, we design move attribute, Tabu attribute and Tabu tenure, and thereafter perform the experiments to the problems.

Computing processing power limitations of mobile devices, storage, due to space constraints, the tasks handled by mobile devices and data processing services to move to cloud environments. In recent years, smartphone, tablet PC and mobile device companies and individuals to spread and spread, and the content of the accelerating cloud painters, mobile cloud that can communicate with each other requires a standard service.
