시계열 분석을 활용한 고속도로 교통류 예측 (Forecasting of Motorway Traffic Flow based on Time Series Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the factors that reduce prediction error in traffic volume using highway traffic volume data. The ARIMA model was used to predict the day, and it was confirmed that weekday and weekly characteristics were distinguished by prediction error. The forecasting results showed that weekday characteristics were prominent on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and forecast errors including MAPE and MAE on Sunday were about 15% points and about 10 points higher than weekday characteristics. Also, on Friday, the forecast error was high on weekdays, similar to Sunday's forecast error, unlike Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, which had weekday characteristics. Therefore, when forecasting the time series belonging to Friday, it should be regarded as a weekly characteristic having characteristics similar to weekend rather than considering as weekday.

  • The Busan-Geoje Fixed Link is an 8.2 km long motorway connecting Busan to the island of Geoje where the Korean big two shipbuilding yard locate on. This motorway includes a 3,300m immersed tunnel which is one of the longest immersed tunnel in the world and two cablestayed bridges each of 2km in length. The site locates in a exposed offshore, which is subjected to strong winds, large swell waves and strong tidal currents. These conditions together with the tunnel being at a deepest immersed tunnel ever built and the foundation condition is consisting of a very soft, normally to slightly over consolidated marine clay, makes the project unique and one of the most challenging immersed tunnels ever built.

서울시일원의 토양 오염도 조사 (Investigation on the Pollution in the Soils of Seoul Area)

  • This work was carried out to investigate the pollution of heavy metals and pH in soil, collected from the 156 sampling sites in 1987. 1. In the average contents of Cd, the highest value was 0.40 mg/kg in the Outskirt of Seoul area, the lowest value was 0.11 mg/kg in the Greenbelt area, and 0.21∼0.39 mg/kg in the other areas. 2. In the average contents of Cu, the highest value was 32.50 mg/kg in the Motorway area, the lowest value was 2.96 mg/kg in the Greenbelt area, and 9.53∼24.41 mg/kg in the other areas. 3. In the average contents of As, the highest value was 1.32 mg/kg in the Reclamated waste area, the lowest value was 0.31 mg/kg in the Greenbelt area, and 0.93∼1.32 mg/kg in the other areas. 4. In the average contents of Zn, the highest value was 27.33 mg/kg in the Center of city area, the lowest value was 9.97 mg/kg in the Greenbelt area, and 12.47∼25.23 mg/kg in the other areas. 5. In the average contents of Pb, the highest value was 125.25 mg/kg in the Motorway area, the lowest value was 12.99 mg/kg in the Farming area, and 17.01∼77.71 mg/kg in the other areas. 6. In the average contents of pH, the highest value was pH 7.08 in the Motorway area, the lowest value was pH 4.14 in the Greenbelt area, and pH 5.67~7.04 in the other areas. 7. The order of the distribution of heavy metals was Pb>Zn>Cu>As>Cd. There was significanthy correlation between Cd-Zn, Pb-Zn, Cu-Cd, Pb-Cu and Pb-Cd (p<0.01).

국내 EGR과 SCR 장착 중형트럭 대기오염물질 배출 특성 (Characteristics of Air Pollutants Emission from Medium-duty Trucks Equipped EGR and SCR in Korea)

  • NOx and PM are important air pollutants as vehicle management policy aspect. Medium-duty truck is the main source of the pollutants although the vehicle market share is only 3.5%. National emission portion of NOx and PM form the mobile sourece are 14% and 16% respectively. In this study it was investigated that characteristics of air pollutants emission on medium duty truck equipped with EGR and SCR system. Vehicle's test reflected driving cycle on the chassis dynamometer, and applied test cycle was WHVC(World Harmonized Vehicle Cycle) mode. The test cycle include three segments, represent urban, rural and motorway driving. Based on the test results NOx, PM, HC were less emitted form SCR vehicle than EGR vehicle. And CO was less emitted form EGR vehicle than SCR vehicle due to CO oxidation reaction on DPF surface. And most air pollutants reduced as average vehicle speed increased. Pollutants were less emitted on motorway section than urban and rural sections. But highly NOx emission on motorway section was verified according to increased EGR ratio on fast vehicle speed. HC and CO additional emission was identified as 68%, 58% respectively during SCR vehicle's cold engine start emission test. NOx additional emission was detected by 24% on SCR vehicle's condition of engine cold start while not detected on vehicle equipped with EGR. SCR vehicle's additional NOx emission was derived from low reaction temperature during engine cold start condition. medium-duty truck emission characteristics were investigated in this study and expected to used to improve air pollutants management policy of medium-duty truck equipped with SCR & EGR.

프랑스 A-71고속도로변 Retention Pond의 기능평가 (Assessment of the fonction of Retention Pond, A-71 Motorway, France)

  • 고속도로에서 흘러오는 빗물의 양을 조절하고 환경오염을 최소화하기 위해 프랑스 일부 고속도로변에 간이정화시설을 설치하였다. 중금속에 의해 오염된 입자를 제거하기 위해 설치된 간이정화시설의 효과를 평가하기 위해서 오를레앙 남쪽 20km지점의 "Les Ardilleres" 지역의 A-71고속도로변에 위치한 간이정화시설을 선정하였다. Muller (1979)와 Helz (1976)에 의해 각각 도입된 index of geoaccumulation와 enrichment factor를 이용하여 오염된 도로변 토양과 간이정화시설에서 채취한 부유퇴적물의 중금속오염 정도를 정량화하여 평가하였다. 기대한 데로, 도로변 토양의 오염은 매우 심각한 반면에 부유퇴적물의 오염은 미약하였다. 간이정화시설의 부유퇴적물은 카드뮴오염만이 진행되고 있으며 이 결과는 인위적인 오염과 자연적인 농집현상에 기인된 것이다. 부유퇴적물에 수반되어 간이정화시설에 유입되는 중금속의 추정량은 하루 납 0.9g, 아연 2.1g, 카드뮴 6mg이다. 자동차통행에 의해 배출된 납과 아연의 양과 간이정화시설에 유입된 것을 비교한 tentative mass balance 결과 고속도로상에 오염된 납과 아연의 약 5~11% 만이 빗물에 의해 간이정화 시설에 운반되어 유입되었다. 간이정화시설의 효율을 높이기 위한 제안이 제시되었다.제안이 제시되었다.

대용량 이력자료를 활용한 다중시간대 고속도로 교통량 예측 (Multiple Period Forecasting of Motorway Traffic Volumes by Using Big Historical Data)

  • 고속도로 교통류 제어는 기존의 Reactive 방식(실시간 대응)에서 Proactive 방식(사전 대응)으로 발전하고 있다. 첨단 고속도로 교통류 제어의 핵심 입력자료 중 하나는 여러 시간대에 걸치는 장래 교통량 상태이다. 다중 시간대 교통량 예측을 위해서는 장래 상태의 불확실성을 극복해야 한다. 이는 예측 시간대의 확장에 따라 장래 상태의 불확실성은 증가하기 때문이다. 따라서 다중 시간대 교통량 예측을 위해서는 장래 상태의 불확실성을 효과적으로 극복할 수 있는 실행 가능한 방안이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 대용량 이력자료에 내재된 교통류 상태의 시간적 진화 행태를 이용하여 장래 상태의 불확실성을 효과적으로 극복함으로써 다중 시간대 장래 교통량 상태를 예측하는 모형을 제시하도록 한다. 개발 모형은 현행 교통량의 상태 진화를 기반으로 대용량 자료에 내재된 과거 상태를 추출하고, 이를 이용하여 장래 상태를 예측한다. 추가로, 개발된 모형은 실제 적용을 고려하여 자료관리시스템에 적합하도록 설계되었다. 적용결과, 개발모형은 다중 시간대에 걸치는 불확실성을 효과적으로 극복함으로써 우수한 예측력을 보였으며, 첨단자료관리시스템에 실제 적용이 가능하다고 판단된다.

  • Green landscape plan to the riverfront area of the Han River The Han River, one of the symbolic elements in metropolitan Seoul, structures an axis of waterscape as the openspace crossing east to west of the city of Seoul. As riverside urban motorway(88 Olympic motorway) and riverside public park were constructed by the Han River Comprehensive Development Project in 1986, the necessity of general plan for the in-stallation of envirommental facility belt to conserve living enviroument is being required with relation to, dense residential areas closed to the river Therefore, the goal of the study is to provide better riverview and to increase environmental purifi-cation ability as a large scale waterscape axis by the preparation of landscape plan to the riverfront area of Han River, In order to achieve the goal, the study deals with sectional speciality, the introduction of landscape assessment techniques and ecological approach to given environment. As unity is kept through whole waterfront area, the area is divided into 9 zoning sections to study development methods for each section, and themes for speciality are given to each section, and the. sort of plants which can be symboliged to the area is selected. Also, the planting methods for harmony with the type of road structure and riverscape is offered. Though the study may give significane to the image and the function of riverside road, in con-clusion, the characteristic ecological approach to the river is so limited that has not been reflected enough on the plan. It is expected that the study should be continued, and long-term riverfront openspace plan, environmentally sustainable, should be arepared.

  • 고속도로란 지역과 지역을 연결한 간선도로로 장거리 통행을 주 교통으로 하여 지정된 진출입외에는 완전히 출입을 제한한 자동차 전용도로이다. 영문으로는 freeway, Expressway, Motorway등으로 표기한다. 고속도로 건설은 정부투자 기관인 한국도로공사(Korea Highway Corporation)에서 공사를 발주하여 주로 대형건설업체들이 시공하고 있으며, 이에 대한 시공관리는 대개 도로공사 건설사업소 단위로 시행하고 있다. 고속도로 건설공사의 개략적 구성을 보면 토공, 구조물공, 배수공, 터널공, 부대공 등으로 형성되고 있으며, 시공형태는 대형화, 기계화 되어감에 따라 재해의 유형도 변화가 일고 있다.(중략)

  • The success of road haulage, in dominating the surface movement of freight, is now threatened by increased traffic congestion, falling average motorway speeds and rising in logistic costs. As a result, Government as well as companies, which use or operate logistics service, is now looking to rail to provide an alternative. First, we surveyed the bottlenecks and desired betterments to rail transport, which were indicated by rail and road transport users. Through the analysis of customers' needs survey. this paper is focused in the basic framework fur the rail freight transport, which could be helped to promote the efficiency associated with moving freight by rail.
