  • This paper presents a simple torque estimation method and switching angle control of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) using Neural Network (NN). SRM has gaining much interest as industrial applications due to the simple structure and high efficiency. Adaptive switching angle control is essential for the optimal driving of SRM because of the driving characteristic varies with the load and speed. The proper switching angle which can increase the efficiency was investigated in this paper. NN was adapted to regulate the switching angle and nonlinear inductance modelling. Experimental result shows the validity of the switching angle controller.

  • In a switched reluctance motor drive, it is important to synchronize the stator phase excitation with the rotor position, because the position of rotor is an essential information. In the high-speed region, switching angles are fluctuated back and forth out of the preset value, which is caused by the sampling period of the microprocessor. In this paper, a low cost analog encoder to be suitable for practical applications is proposed. The validity of the proposed analog encoder with a proper logic controller is verified from the experiments.

  • This paper describes a precise temperature control method for refrigerating and air conditioning systems. The control technique is based on the optimal servo control design method and the control algorithm is implemented on a personal computer. To control the precise temperature, two actuators such as an inverter for the compressor speed control and a stepping motor for regulating the expansion valve are used. The superheat and evaporator temperatures are chosen as the system output. So a multivariable system which has two inputs and two outputs to be controlled. The complicative model is identified by using an ARX(Auto Regressive eXogenous) model and the controller is designed by using the Matlab software.

  • In induction motor control, power efficiency as well as high dynamic performance is important. We attempt to achieve both of them by decoupled control of rotor speed and flux. A nonlinear feedback controller with a well-known rotor flux observer is proposed with its stability analysis. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed control method based on recently developed nonlinear feedback control theory is of practical use.

  • Nowadays many articles describe the controlling models for four rotor flying vehicle. Basic approaches to the problem of these articles are mathematical expressions describing dynamics of the models of the vehicle and PID control for manipulating the object in 3 dimensional space. Design of control systems is usually started by careful consideration of its mathematical model description. We present a detailed mathematical model for a quad rotor. This paper first considers simulation of quadcopter control based on full state feedback technique with linearization in MATLAB environment and shows the results of the simulations. Finally will be shown experimental results of the state feedback control implemented in real model.

  • 기존에는 전동기 제어기법으로 PI제어기가 주로 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 실제 시스템의 경우 외란과 센서 잡음에 노출되기 쉽고, 모델의 불확실성에 대한 오차가 발생하기 때문에 보다 강인한 제어기법이 필요한 시점이다. $H{\infty}$제어기법은 명령 추종 성능, 시스템 모델 오차와 외란, 센서 잡음에 대해 강인성을 보장하는 고급제어기법으로서 현재 그 성능을 입증 받아 산업분야에서 다양하게 적용되고 있다. 본 논문은 매입형 영구자석 동기전동기(IPMSM)의 속도제어기에 $H{\infty}$제어기와 PI제어기를 적용하여 모의실험을 통한 성능비교를 통해 모델오차와 같은 시스템의 불확실성과 외란에 대해 $H{\infty}$제어기의 강인한 제어성능을 검증하였다.

  • BLDC 모터는 고효율, 비 관성에 의한 큰 토크, 제어의 단순성과 같은 뚜렷한 장점들 때문에 일반적으로 로봇공학 및 항공 우주, 자동차 같은 응용 분야에 널리 사용된다. 따라서 사용자가 원하는 속도를 일정하게 유지하는 것은 중요하다. BLDC 모터는 무게 변화와 같은 파라미터 변화나 센서 잡음, 외부환경 변화에 따른 외란의 영향이 항상 존재하게 된다. 하지만 일반적인 제어기 설계방법으로는 파라미터 변화, 센서 잡음이나 외란의 영향에 효과적으로 대응하는 것이 쉽지 않다. 본 논문에서는 강인 제어 기법 중 하나인 H-infinity 제어기법을 BLDC 모터에 적용하여 속도제어기를 설계하였다. 또한 DSP 구현을 통하여 일반적으로 널리 사용되는 PI 제어기와의 비교를 통해 H-infinity 속도 제어기의 우수성을 보였다.

  • This paper is proposed that the photovoltaic/fuel cell hybrid generation system for the stand-alone system. In case of the photovoltaic generation system, it depends on the weather condition, irradiation and so on... On the contrary, fuel cell has not this limitation. It can be interactive generation system between photovoltaic and fuel cell. This paper simulated stand-alone co-generation system based on the control of DC link. Moreover, 1[kw] BLDC motor system with speed and hysteresis current controller is used for the proposed system.

  • 본 논문에서는 유도전동기 벡터제어를 위한 전류 및 속도제어기의 간단한 설계 방법을 제 한다. 일반적으로 유도전동기 전류 및 속도제어에 PI형태의 제어기를 사용할 경우 제어기이득 결정과정에는 많은 시행착오가 따른다. 본 논문에서는 전동기 상수 및 원하는 대역폭으로부터 제어기이득을 직접 구하여 설계과정을 단순화함으로써 시행착오를 줄이거나 제거할 수 있게 하였다. 제안한 방법의 유용성 및 성능을 모의실험을 통해서 확인한다
