The water celery, Oenanthe javanica DC., is widely distributed in Korea and the other South East Asian countries. From ancient times, the water celery has widely been used for food or medicine. In herbal medicine, the water celery has a medical actions which are defervescence, diuresis, hypotensor, appetizer. Recently, studies on the water celery are briskly being conducted. For example, studies on the morphologic property and classifications of origin of the water celery, studies on the chemical constituents of the Water celery, studies on the bio activities of the water celery which contains flavonoids. However, there is not studies of hematological changes in dogs administrated the water celery until now. Consicontly, this study was conducted to observe the hematological changes in dogs administrated excessive amount of the water celery concentrated extract for a long period. In this studies, all dogs showed significantly decrease of the RBC, PCV, Hb and MCHC, and increase of the WBC, MCV, GSH and reticulocytes, but did not significantly change in the Met-Hb.

The mitral valve is not a simple but a complex structure, mitral valve complex. This complex is composed of mitral orifice, annulus, valve leaflet, chordae tendineae and papillary muscles. There were many controversies about this structures. We studied mitral valve complex in 63 cases of normal Korean adults, such as the circumference of mitral annulus, the intercommissural diameter, height and breadth of the cusps, including commissure, the ratio of rough to clear zone, breadth of the achordal zone, the number of scallops of posterior cusp, the number, length and the pattern of arrangement of the several types of chordae, the number and morphological characteristics of papillary muscles.

Using laser ablation technique carbon thin films were deposited on Si(100) substrate as a function of substrate temperature. In this study, the surface morphologic, structural and field emission properties of these carbon thin films were investigated using Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and a diode technique, respectively. With increasing of the substrate temperature, the surface morphologies were changed significantly. Moreover, the intensity of D-band and the full width at half maximum of these bands were dependent on substrate temperatures. As the substrate temperature was increased, the field emission properties were improved. As the result, we find that the field emission properties of the films were changed significantly with the substrate temperature and structural features of carbon than films.

This paper presents to design User eXperience(UX) of anthropomorphic animal characters search system (hereinafter, AACSS) for efficient user search. To this end, meta data were utilized herein to elevate the search efficiency of multimedia information and text information. Anthropomorphic animal characters require the human elements and the animal elements, thus this paper extracted the key elements of meta data as below; phenotypic element in animal system classification (Morphologic property elements, Ecological property elements, Behavioral property elements), emotion classification, which is the trait of personification and the Step of Anthropomorphic Animal Characters.

Amorphous carbon thin films were deposited using laser ablation technique on Si(100) substrates at different temperatures. In this study, effects of the substrate temperature on the properties of amorphous carbor, films were systematically investigated. The surface morphologic and structural properties of the films were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and raman spectroscope, respectively. With increasing of the substrate temperature, the surface morphologies were changed significantly. Moreover the intensity ratio of D-band and G-band and the full width at half maximum of these bands were dependent on substrate temperatures.

C-shaped canal configuration is very difficult to treat because that clues about preoperative canal anatomy cannot be ascertained from clinical crown morphology and limited information can be derived from the radiographic examination. This study was done to get more informations about the root and canal configuration of C-shaped root by 3-dimentionally reconstructing for the purpose of enhancing success rate of endodontic treatment. 30 mandibular molars with C-shaped root were selected. Teeth had been extracted from periodontal problems with sound crown and root portion, including teeth with caries lesion limited crown portion only.(omitted)

The results of study for colorless hair manicure, which is well known for its useful point and supplement damaged hair glossy, luster, elastic and soft one are as follows. Hair protection effect by the management time of colorless hair manicure products, as below. When it comes to dyed hair group's hair surface condition. both level 3 and level 6 hairs cuticle changed to be irregular. And lose of cuticle has been observed with a fact that the space between cuticles are not clear. In case of manicuring, manicuring 2 weeks after dyeing is better complemented surface damage than manicuring right after dyeing. So, in case of making cuticle morphologic of good hair quality in manicuring dyed hair, it's more effective to manicure right after dyeing to both level 3 and level 6 hair.

Vocal folds injury from vocal abuse is important topics of phonosurgery. Recent advances in diagnostic equipment, phonosurgery and speech analysis equipment have provided a lot of Information about fine movement of the vocal folds. However, predicting the reaction of the vocal folds to phonatory trauma remains difficult. The vocal folds need to withstand great vibratory and shearing stress and anchoring fibers of basement membrane Bone play a role in maintaining structural integrity of histologically different epidermis and superficial layer of lamina propria(cover of vocal folds). The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the changes of anchoring fibers in vocal polyp using transmission electron microscope. Various defects were observed : a irregular thickening of basement membrane, a near absence of normal anchoring fiber, a lot of electron dense material in superficial layer of lamina propria, a destruction of hemidesmosome and many vesicles carrying electron dense material In basal keratinocyte. These observations were suggestive of a hyperactivity of basal keratinocyte of vocal folds epithelium in response to vibratory stress.

The Schizonepeta tenuifolia spikes (STS) have been used as a traditional folk medicine for antiinflammatory, analgesic, anti-pyretic and anti-spasmodic purpose in Korea. Phytosterols (mixture of campesterol 3.68%, stigmasterol 2.30% and ${\beta}$-sitosterol 94.02%) and hesperidin were isolated by chromatography from ether and n-BuOH fractions of STS respectively. These compounds significantly reduced the blood glucose level and lessened the loss of body weight and water consumption dose-dependently when administered at a i.p. doses of 10 and 20 mg/kg for 4 days after the i.v. injection of streptozotocin (I 80 mg/kg). In the morphologic study, these compounds showed protective activity on the pancreatic islets, especially .betha.-cells, from the degenerative changes by streptozotocin.
