The objects of PV (Photovoltaic) monitoring system is to reduce the loss of system and operation and maintenance costs. In case of PV plants with configured of centralized inverter type, only 1 PV module might be caused a large loss in the PV plant. For this reason, the monitoring technology of PV module-level that find out the location of the fault module and reduce the system losses is interested. In this paper, a fault diagnosis algorithm are proposed using thermal and electrical characteristics of PV modules under failure. In addition, the monitoring system applied with proposed algorithm was constructed. The wireless sensor using LoRa chip was designed to be able to connect with IoT device in the future. The characteristics of PV module by shading is not failure but it is treated as a temporary failure. In the monitoring system, it is possible to diagnose whether or not failure of bypass diode inside the junction box. The fault diagnosis algorithm are developed on considering a situation such as communication error of wireless sensor and empirical performance evaluation are currently conducting.

Techniques based on computer vision are becoming increasingly important in construction safety monitoring. Using AI algorithms can automatically identify conceivable hazards and give feedback to stakeholders. However, the construction site remains various potential hazard situations during the project. Due to the site complexity, many visual devices simultaneously participate in the monitoring process. Therefore, it challenges developing and operating corresponding AI detection algorithms. Safety information resulting from computer vision needs to organize before delivering it to safety managers. This study proposes a framework for computer vision-aided construction safety monitoring using collaborative 4D BIM information to address this issue, called CSM4D. The suggested framework consists of two-module: (1) collaborative BIM information extraction module (CBIE) extracts the spatial-temporal information and potential hazard scenario of a specific activity; through that, Computer Vision-aid Safety Monitoring Module (CVSM) can apply accurate algorithms at the right workplace during the project. The proposed framework is expected to aid safety monitoring using computer vision and 4D BIM.
In this paper, a wireless remote monitoring system for leakage current of distribution board is developed. In the developed system, signals of the leakage current of distribution board are transmitted to a monitoring system using wireless communication. The developed system is consisted of a comparative module, control module, a wireless communication module, and hand held terminal. The developed system has any facilities which can check a leakage current with real time, send to the user this fact using a wireless remote interface method. And also developed system can take precaution for an accident by leakage current.
Low power consuming and highly responsive semiconductor-type microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) gas sensors are fabricated for real-time environmental monitoring applications. This subsystem is developed using a gas sensor module, a Bluetooth module, and a personal digital assistant (PDA) phone. The gas sensor module consists of a $NO_2$ or CO gas sensor and signal processing chips. The MEMS gas sensor is composed of a microheater, a sensing electrode, and sensing material. Metal oxide nanopowder is drop-coated onto a substrate using a microheater and integrated into the gas sensor module. The change in resistance of the metal oxide nanopowder from exposure to oxidizing or deoxidizing gases is utilized as the principle mechanism of this gas sensor operation. The variation detected in the gas sensor module is transferred to the PDA phone by way of the Bluetooth module.
This paper proposes the PV module fault diagnosis sensor which is applied to Zigbee wireless network, and monitoring system using the developed sensor. It is designed with embedded sensor in junction box. The diagnosis elements for algorithm were voltage and temperature. For that reason, It is able to reduce the price and separate the fault of bypass diode from shading differently from other monitoring systems. This fault diagnosis algorithm verified through the Field-installed operations of PV module.
We have developed a patient monitoring system including module-based bedside monitors, interbed network, central stations, clinical workstations, and DB servers. A bedside monitor with a color LCD can accommodate up to 3 module cases and 21 different modules. Six different physiological parameters of ECG, respiration, invasive blood pressure, noninvasive blood pressure, body temperature, and arterial pulse oximetry with plethysmoyaph are provided as parameter modules. In a single bedside monitor, modules and a module controller communicate with IMbps data rate through an intrabed network based on RS-485 and HDU protocol. At the same time, it communicates with other bedside monitors and central stations through interbed network based on 1 OMbps Ethernet and TCP/IP protocol. Central stations using 20" color CRT monitors can be connected with many bedside monitors and they display 18 channels of waveforms simultaneously. Clinical workstations are used mainly for the review of patient datE In order to accommodate more advanced data management capabilities such as 24-hour full disclosure, we have developed a relational database server dedicated to the patient monitoring system. Software for bedside monitor, central station, and clinical workstation fully utilizes graphical user interface techniques and all functions are controlled by a rotate/push button on the bedside monitor arid a mouse on the central station and clinical workstation. The entire system satisfies the requirements of AAMI and ANSI standards in terms of electrical safety and performances.nces.

As the development of total management systems for sites along with site environmental information is becoming standard, the system known as the Site Information and Total Environmental database management System (SITES) has been developed over the last two years. The first result was a database management system for storing data obtained from facilities, and a site characterization in addition to an environmental assessment of a site. The SITES database is designed to be effective and practical for use with facility management and safety assessment in relation to Geographic Information Systems. SITES is a total management program, which includes its database, its data analysis system required for site characterization, a safety assessment modeling system and an environment monitoring system. It can contribute to the institutional management of the facility and to its safety reassessment. SITES is composed of two main modules: the SITES Database module (SDM) and the Monitoring & Assessment (M&A) module [1]. The M&A module is subdivided into two sub-modules: the Safety Assessment System (SAS) and the Site Environmental Monitoring System (SEMS). SAS controls the data (input and output) from the SITES DB for the site safety assessment, whereas SEMS controls the data obtained from the records of the measuring sensors and facilities. The on-line site and environmental monitoring data is managed in SEMS. The present paper introduces the procedure and function of the M&A modules.
Nowadays, Cars are continuing to grow at an alarming rate but they also cause many problems such as traffic accident, pollutions and so on. One of the most effective methods that prevent traffic accidents is the use of traffic monitoring systems, which are already widely used in many countries. The monitoring system is beginning to be used in domestic recently. An intelligent monitoring system generates photo images of cars as well as identifies cars by recognizing their plates. That is, the system automatically recognizes characters of vehicle plates. An automatic vehicle plate recognition consists of two main module: a vehicle plate locating module and a vehicle plate number identification module. We study for a vehicle plate number identification module in this paper. We use image preprocessing, feature extraction, multi-layer neural networks for recognizing characters of vehicle plates and we present a feature-comparison method for improving the performance of vehicle plate number identification module. In the experiment on identifying vehicle plate number, 300 images taken from various scenes were used. Of which, 8 images have been failed to identify vehicle plate number and the overall rate of success for our vehicle plate recognition algorithm is 98%.
