샤시코너모듈 개발을 위한 부품의 내구 성능 예측에 대한 연구 (A Study on Durability Performance Estimation for Development of Chassis Corner Module)

  • Chassis system has a large influence on ride quality, stability and NVH performance of a car. To improve the performance and reduce cost, the development of chassis modular assemblies is emphasized. To develop chassis corner modules, it is necessary to predict the performance of full vehicle motion such as ride, handling performance, NVH characteristics and durability of modules. In this paper, full vehicle test is performed to acquire the road load data of chassis corner module of passenger car. 3-axis simulator modeling are carried out to simulate reaction force analysis and fatigue analysis of new developed modules. Also, real simulator tests to validate performance of new developed modules are performed. We had developed the accelerated durability test procedure of KATECH PG and it is used to test chassis corner modules at laboratory and simulate durability performance. All these results have been provided to module and parts company and make an important role to develop chassis corner modules.

공기식 태양광/열 시스템 공기채널 내 여러 저항체 설치에 따른 전열성능에 관한 CFD 해석 (CFD Analysis on the Heat Transfer Performance with Various Obstacles in Air Channel of Air-Type PV/Thermal Module)

  • PV/Thermal module is the combined system, which consist of a photovoltaic module and solar thermal collector that can obtain electrical power and thermal energy simultaneously. Thus the power generation can be increase by decreasing the temperature of photovoltaic module and thermal energy retrieved from module also can be used for heating system. In this study, Heat transfer performance of air type PV/Thermal module was confirmed with various bottom obstacles that can be installed easily to real photovoltaic module by CFD (computational fluid dynamics) analysis. Eight type obstacles were investigated according to the shape and arrangement. As a result, nusselt number represent heat transfer performance was increased about 86% compare with the basic type PV/Tthermal module that has no obstacle and triangle type obstacle had higher value than other types. But pressure drop was also increased with increment of heat transfer enhancement. Thus the performance factor considering both heat transfer and pressure drop was confirmed and V-fin type obstacle arranged in a row for Reynolds number below 9,600 and protrusion type obstacle arranged in zigzag for Reynolds number above 14,400 were shown higher performance factor than other types. From these results, V-fin type obstacle arranged in row and protrusion type obstacle arranged in zigzag were considered as a proper type for applying to real PV/thermal module according to operating condition. But the heat transfer performance can be changed by the geometric conditions of obstacle such as height, width, length and arrangement. Thus, it could also confirmed that the optimal condition and arrangement of this obstacle need to be found in further study.

  • A measurement device for gas flow rate using hot-wire module is developed for the utilization in low-accuracy industrial applications. The module has three wires of measuring and heating, and a bridge circuit is installed to detect electric current through the wire in the module. An amplification of the signal and conversion to digital output are conducted for the online measurement with a personal computer. In addition, temperature distribution in the module is numerically analyzed to examine the measured outcome from the module experiment. The flow rate of air and carbon dioxide gas is separately measured for the performance examination of the device. The experimental relation of measurement and flow agrees with the prediction from the numerical analysis. The outcome of the performance test indicates that the accuracy and reproducibility of the module is satisfactory for the purpose of industrial applications.

  • In the cluster tool, it is necessary to precisely control the vacuum pressure for the wafer transportation between transport module and cassette or process modules with the range of 1*10$^{-4}$ to 5*10$^{-5}$ torr. So we have designed the pressure control system for the transport module of the cluster tool and have evaluated its performance. Digital PID is utilized with the weighted sum of both three previous errors and one current error. The feedback signal is put into the nitrogen mass flow controller using the transport module controller. This pressure control system can prevent the transport module from the particle generation and backstreaming of hazardous process gases of the process chamber.

탁상 스탠드용 LED모듈 (LED module for a desk lamp)

  • This paper describes an LED module for a desk lamp using 1[W] high flux while LEDs. The optimum length of the module is obtained from the lighting simulation of the target area of $500{\times}500[mm]$ on the desk, which in turn determines an optimum separation between LEDs. The main issue is to find the optimum separation which gives good illuminance uniformity and high coefficient of utilization at at various reflector structures. Two module configuations of linear and ring types are compared. As a result, good illuminance uniformity is obtained in the case of the ring module. The mofied twin type, however, gives better performance than the ring module, and shows the most performance at an separation angle of around $30^{\circ}$.

  • 군산 복합화력 발전소에서 운용중인 가스터빈 엔진의 정비 의사 결정을 지원하기 위한 솔루션을 개발하였다. 솔루션은 온라인 상태감시, 기간별 성능 경향분석, 최적 압축기 세정주기 분석, 고온부품 관리 모듈로 구성되어 있다. 운용자가 엔진의 상태 분석 결과를 쉽게 모니터하고 그에 따른 정비의사를 결정할 수 있도록 GUI 플랫폼을 적용하였다. 온라인 상태감시 모듈에서는 기준 성능 대비 실시간 계측데이터의 차이를 분석하여 엔진의 성능저하율을 가시적으로 제시한다. 최적 압축기 세정주기 분석 모듈에서는 경제성 평가 알고리즘을 통해 정비 소요 비용과 성능 저하에 따른 비용 손실의 분석을 통해 순이익이 최대가 되는 세정주기를 제시한다. 엔진의 상태 및 주요 정보를 종합적으로 분석하여 제공함으로써 최적 정비 및 운용이 가능하도록 의사 결정을 지원한다.

Development of Ice Load Generation Module to Evaluate Station-Keeping Performance for Arctic Floating Structures in Time Domain

  • To assess the station-keeping performance of floating structures in the Arctic region, the ice load should be considered along with other environmental loads induced by waves, wind, and currents. However, present methods for performance evaluation in the time domain are not effective in terms of time and cost. An ice load generation module is proposed based on the experimental data measured at the KRISO ice model basin. The developed module was applied to a time domain simulation. Using the results of a captive model test conducted in multiple directions, the statistical characteristics of ice loads were analyzed and processed so that an ice load corresponding to an arbitrary angle of the structure could be generated. The developed module is connected to commercial dynamic analysis software (OrcaFlex) as an external force input. Station-keeping simulation in the time domain was conducted for the same floating structure used in the model test. The mooring system was modeled and included to reflect the designed operation scenario. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed ice generation module and its application to station-keeping performance evaluation. Considering the generated ice load, the designed structure can maintain a heading angle relative to ice up to 4°. Station-keeping performance is enhanced as the heading angle conforms to the drift direction. It is expected that the developed module will be used as a platform to verify station-keeping algorithms for Arctic floating structures with a dynamic positioning system.

  • A photovoltaic/thermal (PVT)solar system is the solar technology that allows for simultaneous conversion of solar energy into both electricity and heat. This paper compared the performance of PVT system with a conventional PV module and solar collector and analyzed electrical and thermal efficiency of PVT system in terms of solar irradiance and inlet temperature of the working fluid. Based on the experimental data, thermal and electrical efficiencies of he glazed PVT system were57.9% and14.27% under zero reduced temperature condition which were lower by 13.6% than the solar thermal absorber plate and by 0.08% than the PV module respectively. For the unglazed PVT system it had lower thermal efficiency than the solar thermal absorber plate but higher electrical performance than the PV module due to the cooling effect by the working fluid. However, total efficiency of the glazed PVT system was72.2% which was higher than combined efficiencies of the solar collector and PV module. Besides, total efficiency of the PVT system would be much higher if calculated based on unit area.

  • 본 논문에서는 휴대용 적외선 야시경의 소형 경량화 및 저전력을 위한 전자회로부를 설계하였다. 설계한 전자회로부는 전압자동변환부와 전원공급부로 구성한다. 전압자동변환부는 배터리, 스위치부, 승압부, 전압선택부 등으로 구성한다. 전원공급부는 고광원 감지회로, 배터리 전압감지회로, 적외선 발광회로, 연결감지회로, 공급제어회로 등으로 구성한다. 설계한 전자회로부의 성능은 AN/PVS-14에 비하여 소모전력 및 상온 연속사용 시간에서 우수하였다.
